Dorothy’s POV

I forgot the offer Daniella gave to me, she wants me to go clubbing with her, meet a great guy who is ready to pay hugely just to have me and my life is sorted but I don't want to.

"Daniella no no, not that option please, I beg you. I can't end up being a prostitute." I said out loud.

"You are so silly Dorothy, who is calling you one? Hum? Just a night, it won't kill you except you want your mother to die on the sickbed without being attended to by the doctor, then you will be kicked out from your home and be left with nothing, what will you do?"

"Ah," I screamed in frustration, hitting my legs on the floor and scattering my hair.

"Why me? I am not the only girl in this world." I cried out.

"Dorothy, this is the only option left and time is not on our side anymore, you just have to accept, who knows Just a night might turn everything around for you, you might even find love, you never can tell." She said,

"Oh wow, great, now my girlfriend is a seer of the future, things are getting out of hand," I said.

"Believe me, you know my words don't just come out, so what do you say?" I asked.

"No, I still have two companies left that I am expecting an email from soon and boom I will get the job," I said.

"Okay fine, but my offer is still open to accepting you once you think twice," she replied, taking a selfie with her phone.

Another message notification came up on my email address, I rushed to open it thinking this time around, I am getting the job but wrong again, I wasn't accepted, I have lost all hope, the last company might not even accept me because that's the most popular and rich company in this country named Weiss company, you will need lots of luck to get accepted and I heard their boss is damn cold and rude to his workers but very diligent.

I think I have no other choice than to accept Daniella's offer, I need to save my mother asap without looking back and pay up my rent, then the job hunt activates again.

"Daniella!!" I snapped her out from her phone.

"Yes, girlfriend." She dropped her phone on the table to give me her full attention.

"About your offer, just a night right? I won't get to meet the person ever again in this life? What I will be having with the person will just be for only that night and that's all?" I asked to be reassured.

"Yes girlfriend, just a night and nothing more, then experience the magical moment it will give birth to." She said, smiling at me.

"Fine I will do it, when are we going to the club?" I asked.

"Tonight, wow, my baby girl has developed a good sense, trust me, you are going to thank me for this, believe me." She boasted of herself.

"What tonight? I didn't even get time to prepare? What am I going to wear? Shoes, makeup, jewellery, my hair needs some touch too." I complained about it with full-body gestures.

"Leave that to me girlfriend, that's why you got a Daniella in your life, now first thing first, I will get you a hot gown that will reveal those sexy curves of yours that will make you outstanding tonight." She concluded.

"Fine let's get it on with," I replied.

Oliver’s POV

I woke up exactly at 6am, my company resumed at exactly 7am and I don't tolerate lateness from any workers and mostly from my secretary.I sacked my secretary almost every week and ended up with a new one because they can't keep up with me.

Now that job is still vacant and the department is trying to get a female that can fit in before this week runs out as usual.

I got up from my bed and got dressed .I started exercising my body then did the last which is called 'Press up'. Immediately I entered the bathroom,I had to brush my teeth before going into the bathroom to have a great shower.

I stepped out with a towel around my waist when my room door opened,"Oh God, mother what are you doing here?" I was shocked.

"Don't be silly son,can't I visit my son anymore?" Mom said.

"But mom,I changed the security pin this time around, how did you get in?" I was still surprised.

"Son,I still have a spare key, remember?" She smiles.

"Okay fine you won, why are you here so early mom?"

"My son won't let any maid work for him,I know you will skip breakfast again or get some on your way to work, so I cooked breakfast for you,I will serve them hot in the dining room." She said before exiting my room.

I had to dim my eyes and rack my brain.I know this woman, she didn't just just come here to serve breakfast, she had a plan.

It's my task to find out everything after dressing up.

I looked at the mirror and admired my handsomeness, "Oliver Weiss, you are so handsome, no female on this planet can resist me at all, got the perfect body built."

I applied my body cream with body deodorant and wore my shorts and singlet.

I pressed the remote and the selection of my various suits was opened and I walked in thinking of which to put on today then I settled for the ashes colour and fit in.

I styled my hair,took my phone and stepped out to have breakfast when I found out what mom was up to after she said,"So son, when are you having a girlfriend?"

"Mom, not again." I replied.

"Yes again son, your father and I are worried, are you scared of girls?" She asked.

"No mom."

"Then attend this date with Cleopatra this weekend, you will love her and you two can even partner together."

"Fine mom, if that's what you want,I'm off to work."

I left after kissing her cheek.

I arrived at my company when I overheard them say,"Our CEO is around, fix everything in place."

I smiled, I walked in and noticed someone just walked in, "You are suspended." I said heading to my office.

I was busy at the office when my crazy friend called me,"How is work going dude?" He asked.

"Fine as always Mason."

"So, just call to know if you are still attending the club tonight." He asked.

"Still thinking about it." I replied.

"Come on friend,it's just a night, loosen up a bit and it's my birthday,you have to come period." He added.

"Fine,I will come and loosen up just for tonight, see you tonight." I ended the call.

Just a night,I got this,I can't believe my mom will forc

e me to a blind date this coming weekend.
