Chapter 240

Andrew had me drive to the outer reaches of the city and into a rich, gated apartment complex. Other than to give me directions, he did not say a single word unless I spoke first. He stared out the windshield the entire way, his expression unreadable.

We parked in one of the residents’ spots near the front of the complex. After we left my car, Andrew grabbed my hand and dragged me up to apartment 5A, on the top floor.

“Andrew, where are we?” I asked as I stumbled to catch up to him.

“My apartment,” he replied.

“You have an apartment? But why—”

He put a finger to my lips and stared at me intensely. My heart leapt into my throat, and I could no longer speak. Slowly, he opened the door and pulled me inside.

A luxurious three-bedroom flat, Andrew’s apartment had been decorated like the presidential suite at the Lexington Hotel. The walls had been painted black, and the floor was made of ebony. Crimson satin curtains hung from the windows, matching crimson armchairs and loveseat sat in the living area, and an ebony table stood in the dining room.

I was not able to admire these details for long. As soon as he closed the door, Andrew grabbed me by the throat and threw me against the wall, pressing his lips onto mine.

I moaned as he devoured my mouth. I wrapped my hands around Andrew’s head, tangled them in his hair, and pulled him closer. Our tongues snaked their ways into each other’s mouths, exploring every inch and crevice.

Andrew moved his hands down to my hips and pushed my body against his. I hooked my leg around his waist, grinding my groin into his. The friction sparked a delicious heat that caused me to tremble.

He cupped my buttocks and lifted me off the ground, carrying me to the loveseat. He gently lowered me onto its cushions.

Andrew discarded the shawl and gray wig atop my head, allowing my blonde locks to shake loose. He slowly unbuttoned my wool sweater and threw it onto the floor. He reached behind my back to unzip my floral dress, and I shed it like a second skin.

My undergarments soon followed. He briefly kneaded my breasts, flicking and teasing the nipples, before he moved to remove his own clothing.

I watched as Andrew ripped off his three-piece suit, exposing his mouthwatering body to me. I licked my lips. Unable to help myself, I reached forward and squeezed Andrew’s member.

Andrew threw his head back and roared. He pushed me back onto the loveseat and straddled me. My chest heaved up and down as I stared up at his powerful, sexy form towering over me.

My arms wrapped around his shoulders, and I pulled him down on top of me. Our lips united in a passionate kiss, my hands tracing little circles on Andrew’s back.

Andrew pulled back, sucking and chewing on my lower lip. He shuddered and groaned. His dark eyes met mine, and I knew in that moment that he loved me more than anyone had ever loved me in my life.

“His rating is 99.999%,” Susan chimed in my head. “He will do anything for you.”

My heart ached at this reminder. I pushed the thought aside and lost myself in the moment, reminding myself that it would be the last that I would ever have with him. A single tear trickled down my cheek, but I just let it fall.

Andrew saw the tear and kissed it away. He then kissed along my jawline, down my neck, and across my collarbone. His lips soon found the mound of my left breast.

My hands moved to his head and stroked his hair. I encouraged him as he kissed and licked his way across my breast. He soon reached the nipple and began to suckle as though it contained all his life’s nutrients.

I moaned as he switched breasts. He circled around the areola, leaving a wet trail in his wake. Then he took the nipple in his mouth and began to suck and tug, gently nibbling on the sensitive skin to add a bit of pain to the pleasure.

As Andrew made his way down to my belly button, sweat drenched my body. He dipped his tongue into my navel, and my groin quivered as an endless number of nerves reacted to his presence. My hands curled in Andrew’s hair, my nails scraping at his scalp.

He glanced up at me with the grin of the cat that caught the canary.

“You like that?” he asked, flicking my navel once more.

I trembled.

“Yes,” I said, my voice barely above a husky whisper.

His tongue left a trail from the edge of my bush to the bottom of my navel. My hands tightened their grip.

“You want more?” he asked.

“Yes.”

“What do you want? Tell me.”

“Eat me out,” I panted. “Please, Andrew. I need you.”

Andrew lowered himself between my legs. I watched as he inhaled my private scent deeply. My heart raced with anticipation.

Then his eyes flashed momentarily to those of his wolf’s. He took another deep sniff, and he growled almost imperceptibly. My heart almost stopped completely.

“Crystal, why didn’t you tell me?” he asked, his tone indecipherable.

“Why didn’t I tell you…what?”

He stared me straight in the eye, his eyes now returned to normal.

“You’re not pregnant.”

I swallowed against the knot in my throat. How did he possibly know that?

Andrew disentangled himself from my legs and sat up on the loveseat.

“And that you haven’t been intimate with any other man besides me.”

I scrambled to sit up and covered myself with one of the loveseat’s pillows, suddenly feeling exposed. Was this some sort of power that full-blooded werewolves had that I didn’t know about?

“How…how did you know that?”

Andrew smiled.

“So, it’s true. You’ve only been with me, and you’re not pregnant with Noah’s child.”

I cast my gaze to the floor and nodded.

“You’re right. I just don’t understand how you know.”

“My wolf, he could sense it.” Andrew leaned forward and grabbed my hands in both of his. “Crystal, I can’t believe that you kept this from me.”

I still would not look up at him.

“I needed you to stay broken up with me,” I mumbled. “You and Princess Aurora are obviously made for each other.”

Andrew seemed shocked by this statement.

“Crystal, you and I declared each other as mates,” he said. “We are the ones that are made for each other, not Princess Aurora and me. I love you.”

I shook my head emphatically.

“No, you can’t,” I said. “You need to be with Princess Aurora—”

“I am tired of what I ‘need’ to do,” he retorted. “Please, Crystal, stay with me. I will do anything to be with you.”

I sighed, pulled my hands out of his grip, and stood up.

“No, you won’t. You will do anything for your constituents. That much I know.”

Andrew walked up to me, planted his hands on my shoulders, and turned me around. He forced me to look him in the eye, and I could see that he meant what he was going to say next with his entire heart.

“My love, I will give up everything for you.”
