Chapter 6 He's Angry

Sarah

The sensation of that collision was all too familiar, as if I'd recently experienced the same thing!

Before I could recover, someone's hand suddenly grabbed me by the waist, and a large palm pressed my head tightly to his chest.

My face flushed and turned red.

Unstoppably, I was dragged into the men's restroom, my face pressed against his chest. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a celebrity approaching.

Who was this man dragging me to the restroom, unaware that he was preventing me from behaving inappropriately!

If he didn't let me go quickly, the celebrity would leave, and all my efforts today would be in vain!

Unless the superstar had problems with frequent, urgent, or incomplete urination, who knew how long it would be until the next time?

"Shawn?" The other one paused, his voice filled with confusion.

Shawn, holding my head, didn't stop. He merely grunted something in response and, without looking back, led me inside. The "Out of Order" sign also flew off with a crash.

"Let go, let go!" I screamed in protest.

He grabbed me and kicked the stall open.

In the restroom of an elite club, even the partitions between the stalls were impeccably polished.

"Shawn!" Desperate, I leaned against the wall and forcefully pushed him away. "Why are you ruining my plan?"

Shawn glanced at my hand, pressed to his chest.

"Are you trying to lecture your fiancé's sister again? Do you think I'll ruin your fiancé's reputation again?" I was furious.

Even if I chased after him now, it would be useless; I wouldn't be able to get close to the superstar anytime soon.

The more I thought about it, the more furious I became. I stared at him with wide, furious eyes, clutching the shirt on his chest, trying to push him away.

An eyebrow arched immobile on the man's imposing face, his expression stern.

He raised a finger, pointing to the delicate hand on his chest: "There, have you touched it enough?"

I glanced and realized I had unbuttoned his shirt; the mess was simply... outrageous. Worse yet, reminding myself of this, I finally focused on my hand.

I could feel the warmth radiating from the shirt, and even the beating of my heart.

My heartbeat quickened slightly!

Unsure of what to do, I felt a little awkward.

He suddenly frowned and pulled his hand back, gently pushing me away.

I sensed a hint of disdain in his gaze and immediately lifted my chin. "I'm warning you, Shawn: if you continue to ruin my plans and cling to me, be careful, otherwise I'll tell the whole world what happened that night, bring scandal to the Romano’s, and ruin your marriage to Kate!"

He responded by pressing my back against the wall of the stall.

His nose almost touched the tip of mine, and he condescendingly murmured, "I'm also very curious about what will happen if the whole world finds out you slept with me. We'll see!"

My eyes widened in shock. I slept with him?

If I hadn't been given the medicine that day, and if Shawn hadn't hesitated, would I have been able to succeed?

"What, is there a problem?" I looked up, not intending to argue about this in the men's restroom.

Especially considering that if the incident became public, I would be in serious trouble.

My stepmother and family would be furious.

"Why are you dragging me to the men's restroom?" I glared at the hand pinning me to the wall.

After that day, I never wanted to run into him in the men's restroom again.

"How did you get into this club? Have you forgotten yourself?" Shawn asked coldly, gritting his teeth.

"Sarah, you came here to flirt and even dared to call me by my first name. What impudence!"

I turned away, wanting to cover my face.

I added, "Then you could have refused. I didn't force you to let me in." My words were so weak I almost begged for mercy.

Awkward, my nervous lips trembled slightly, pressed unnaturally tight. I didn't dare look at his reaction. Yes, I had used his connections to gain entry.

"What do you want?" I tried to negotiate reluctantly.

He watched my lips move slightly, recalling that night, and felt an overwhelming urge to kiss them. Holding him back, he tightened his grip on my wrist.

"Ouch..." I moaned.

I gasped in pain, and with a groan, my wrist finally released.

Glancing again at him standing next to me, I saw his handsome face, frighteningly stern. Deep, bottomless eyes stared at me, and his furrowed brows betrayed his extremely foul mood.

He was truly angry...

"Well, I...I'll go first, I still have things to do..." I turned away, my head slightly lowered; my long eyelashes hid the nervousness in my eyes.

My hand had just reached for the compartment door handle when a larger hand, faster than my own, swung the door open.

Shawn, his expression dark, casually pulled me out, uncaring of the consequences. The more I longed to find this man, the more he wanted to take me away from here.

The stunned club administrator watched as the always cold and aloof Shawn personally pulled out the woman who had entered shortly before and hurried away.

Unseen, rare, unheard of!

This must be some kind of rush to get a room, right?

The legend that Shawn Romano despises women can't be true.

I was dragged all the way until I was bundled into a car at the club entrance.

"Bam!" The car door slammed.

Charlie, who was driving, suppressed his surprise and calmly asked, "Sir, can we go now?"

"If you want to leave, go ahead. I won't! Let me out!" I resisted and pushed.

Shawn held me back and calmly said, "Go back to the Romano mansion."

The car moved smoothly, and I felt like I was dying. With every movement, I felt as if my whole body was rubbing against him.

Shawn, trying to hold me back, hugged me, pulling me close, which made me especially uneasy, my heart pounding.

He exuded a faint scent of fresh mint, just like back then. The pungent masculine scent made me dizzy, and my arms and legs went weak, as if I were high. Remembering that day, I involuntarily blushed.

Did I really hate my weakness, forgetting the lessons I'd learned from him?

"Try moving again, and you'll see!"

Intentionally lowering his voice, I protested.

I instinctively froze, clearly hearing his breathing quicken slightly. The throbbing in my chest intensified.

Perhaps because... he was angry?

The car finally went quiet.

I was desperately trying to catch my breath when I suddenly heard Shawn's quiet voice: "Speed up."
