Chapter 7

It’s the last day of vacation, or so-called "honeymoon." Blade and I decided to split the situation first and enjoy our very own company while here on the island.

The scenery is still beautiful, the breeze is nice, I'm just lying on the umbrella beach chair, I can't help but think that this scenario is so relaxing. I don't want anything from everyone, especially business, but tomorrow we'll be back to normal, so I need to live this day to the fullest.

I stood up thinking I would go for a massage at the spa because I needed to pamper myself. I don’t think it’ll happen again, or if there's a vacation leave that can be requested, and it's not like I have to ask Blade for some permission. I had to ask my parents as I looked at the photos I’d taken and planned to sell the villa online.

As I posted the picture where buyers can see it, I entered a spa to have the time of my life when I arrived at their counter.

"What can I help you with, ma’am?"

I just smiled.

"A full body massage, mani-pedis, and a seaweed scrub as well."

I rarely do them, so I'll try.

"Right this way, Miss."

And I just followed her.

I was ushered into a room where I was given dress robs and a locker to put my belongings and the two pieces I was wearing. After I changed, I went straight to a room where a woman was waiting for me.

She laid me on a bed and asked if she could start, and I just nodded and she took off my dress rob up to the waist. It’s not a big deal; we are both women, and then the relaxation begins.

"I love this life." As I moaned breathlessly,

Blade’s POV

I wanted some alone time and I know she likes it too, but what I did was just hang out not far away, so that somehow I could still see what she was doing. I was on a floating bridge with houses here by the sea, and I was watching what she was doing. Alessia didn't know that I was here because what I told her was that I would just fix something nearby and she agreed.

She’s easy to get along with, but since I still think of Kycine and what I have done, I should have time on my own too. Then my phone rang, and it was an open number.

"Talk to me."

"Hi, I was wondering if, how are you?" The person on the phone said

while caressing my forehead. I knew she was Kycine, and even though our relationship ended, she never left my mind until I met Alessia; I didn't know what to say and hung up the phone.

"I know you'll always be well. Say my regards to Uncle and Auntie. " She said, between giggles.

"Stop that. You know what situation you are in, so I think you should keep your distance from now on. " I told her

I knew she’d frown. I felt its sadness. My parents never wanted me to be involved with what she and I have been doing since college. I don’t know, but they didn’t like her, not even a bit. But I didn’t keep it a secret, but just went along with it and told them that I had cut ties with Kycine for good. Before, I took my father’s place as a CEO.

Kycine’s your average girl. She has a higher IQ, but she’s not from a rich family. Maybe that's why my parents don’t want us together and that one incident that they thought she was using me for money.

"All right, I've got to go."

She said, as she turned off the phone call.

I know something changed since then, but Kycine never gave up, but I'm only doing this to clear my name.

I can't believe I have come to the point where marriage will be needed, but I can't afford to shut this news down but the marriage was a great idea and it's not a bad one

Maybe after this, I can finally marry Kycine. I’m sure she would understand. I tossed my phone on the bed and went out the sliding door to jump into the very clear water, and I let myself float, and my mind float these conflicts away.

When I got soaked, I climbed onto the mini deck of the floating room I bought and dried myself. I took off my shorts and put a towel on my lower body when suddenly my phone rang. It was a notification from Alessia.

"She’s selling her villa?!"

Alessia’s POV

I finished the appointment by night. I was not hungry because they had food to serve, and they insisted that the food was on the house because I’d taken a lot of packages, but I asked them if I could pay. I was really sure that they were tired and I had money, so I insisted that I'd give them a tip if they didn't want to accept my payment for their food.

I walked towards the villa because I thought I needed to fix my things because we would be back first thing in the morning. When I got to the front door, I thought Blade was here because the lights were on and I thought he was cooking because of the good smell. I immediately went in without knocking, and I saw him shirtless cooking.

I have nothing against it. He's just cooking. He didn't pay attention to me, and I just let him go and went straight to the bedroom to arrange my belongings when my belongings were all set on my bags. I was surprised when Blade suddenly pushed me, making us fall onto the bed.

"Why are you selling this villa?"

I just looked at him, and suddenly his grip on my wrist tightened.

"Blade— It hurts." I told him while closing my eyes tight.

And he just looked at me. All of a sudden, he said

"I know you regret that we spent our night here, but don't sell it."

He threw me a catalog containing various villas; some of them are very pricy.

"What does this have to do with the thought that I’m selling this villa?" I asked.

He didn't say a word and just looked at me as he put his hand in his pocket.

"Choose one there and tell me over dinner that I don't care about how much money it will cost, just pick one up. "

"Don't sell it; it's memorable. I’ll buy you another one, as long as you don’t sell this one. " He left me confused.

My mouth fell open at what he said.
