The day I had been waiting for had finally arrived. I woke up the happiest person and it was very evident in my face. Marie had been with me for a while and we enjoyed each other's company. Lorcan seemed to have withdrawn again and I felt he wasn't interested in the ceremony again but Marie convinced me that he was stressed out from the planning so I let it go. I also heard whispers about him being with another woman but I chose not to listen to any rumors again. It almost caused me to lose my relationship the last time and I didn't want a repeat. What did it matter if he would end up with me?

I had the most relaxing bath with the aid of my servants and I was bathed with lavender and rose oil. It smelled so nice that I was sure Lorcan would lose his mind when we finally mated as the Alpha and Luna. The thought had me giggling like a schoolgirl. My clothes lay on the bed, it was a white dress with diamonds on it and it had a slit from the thigh down. I aimed to seduce, to make Lorcan lose his mind when he saw me walking to him. I made sure he didn't do it before today so it won't ruin my surprise. I wore the cloth and there were gasps from my maids.

"You look so beautiful Luna" one of them said.

"The alpha will have a hard time keeping his eyes off you," the other says.

"That's what I want," I said with a smile.

I sat down in front of my vanity mirror so they could get my hair done and they did a nice job. They did minimal makeup. I didn't want anything extravagant.

"Thank you for your help," I said to them.

"It's our pleasure," they said in unison and bowed.

As they made their way out, Marie walked in wearing a white dress without slits but with a very low neckline so her cleavage was showing.

"You look gorgeous Ally"

"So do you. If I didn't know better I would think this ceremony was meant for you" I teased her

"I won't steal your day from you"

"Did you see Lorcan? Is he ready? Are they waiting for me?" I asked all at once.

"Take a breath, Ally. You're nervous and I understand but at least allow me to answer one question at a time"

"I'm sorry. Like you said I'm nervous and tense and I'm also having a bad feeling. I just want to know if it's still going to hold"

"Don't jinx today. Nothing bad is going to happen today. It's supposed to be the happiest day of your life. Lorcan is ready and everyone is getting ready for the ceremony. They are all excited and they are waiting for you" I smiled. I gave her a hug

"Thank you for being here with me on the most important day of my life. I wish my parents were here to witness this day but even if they aren't here. I'm glad I have someone I love with me"

"I'll always be here with you whenever you need me," she said in her softest voice and she pulled away from me. I felt tears in my eyes but I held them back but Marie had already noticed it.

"I don't want you to cry so you don't ruin your makeup. You need to keep your head high and prepare for today before you know it, everything is done and you'll finally be happy" I nodded.

"Good. Now let's go" she said taking my hand in hers and we walked down the stairs and the large doors of the banquet halls were open and I walked in with my head high. I felt the stares of people around me but I kept moving. I scanned the room looking for Lorcan but I didn't see him immediately.

"Are you looking for your love?" Marie whispered in my ear and I nodded.

"Don't worry. You'll see him soon, let's drink and enjoy ourselves until the ceremony starts properly"

A waiter serving drinks came to us and I took a glass and Marie did the same. I couldn't help checking the room for Lorcan. It seemed like he hadn't arrived and that made me worried. People passed me by and they smiled at me but I could only return a fake smile back.

'You need to calm down. You'll scare everyone off before the ceremony even begins' my wolf said.

'I can't help myself. What if Lorcan had changed his mind?'

'He can't do that to you. Certainly not today that is the main day if he wanted to call it off he would have done so since' she said and just as she said that I saw Lorcan making his way to me with a smile on his face.

'I told you' she said

I was still stunned as Lorcan walked to me, he looked so handsome in his clothes and I couldn't help gawking at him. He finally stopped in front and gave me a light peck on both my cheeks.

"You look so beautiful in that dress" I blushed at the compliment

"You don't look bad yourself and if things go as planned you'll be the one removing it" I whispered the last part.

"Let's get seated. The ceremony would soon start" he said and we sat down at the seat made for us.

I was paying attention to all the priestess was saying. I was just waiting for the main part of the ceremony. The ritual. That binds Lorcan and me to the pack as the alpha and Luna. Lorcan was initiated as the alpha. Everyone already knew that but since he was announcing his Luna they had to do that ritual again.

It finally got to the part for Lorcan to call on me to come and stand by his side and announce me as his Luna.

"I call on stage to join me. The new Luna of the pack Marie Simmons"
