Introduction

She hunts monsters at night. Too bad she fell for the most dangerous one of all.

WARNING: This novel contains graphic scenes of sex and violence

Bella Rossi, known in the underworld as Siren, is a seductress, a spy, and one of the most lethal assassins alive— by night, she becomes Nightclaw, a vigilante hunting down human traffickers, waging a personal war born from the torment of her chidhood when she was pimped out by her stepfather.
Once a pawn in the hands of monsters, Bella has spent her life ensuring no man will ever own her again. Her only loyalty is to survival and the man who made her. But when she’s sent to seduce, infiltrate, and eliminate the untouchable Alexandro D’Soto, her world begins to unravel.
Alexandro D’Soto, billionaire CEO by day, mafia king by blood
He’s everything she should avoid. And the only man who sees her... even behind the mask.
She thought she was the hunter, but he’s about to prove—she’s already his.
As their passion grows and power struggles spill blood, secrets begin to crack the foundation of everything they believe in. One thing becomes terrifyingly clear:
He may be the only man strong enough to destroy her… or save what’s left of her soul.

NOTE The BDSM in this book will grow as the characters' relationship and trust develop. Don't expect it to start from the on set. BDSM needs trust♡

Chapter 1

“Please! D… don’t kill me, I told you what you wanted! Ok… ok, I promise I would go clean, I would never do this business again.” the man sobbed trembling, snot and tears running down his face as he stayed still, trying not to fall of the chair he was standing on.

Bella paused from kicking the chair under his feet, It always amused her how people that spent their lives harming others were always the most pathetic when they were about to die.

She placed one hand on her chin like she was considering it. Then shrugged, “Hmmm… Nahh, the voices in my head said you had to die.”

Then she giggled, kicking the chair from beneath his feet and watched in boredom as the owner of the motel known to pimp out underaged kids wiggled around like a worm as he hung from the rope around his neck with his hands tied behind his back.

------

That was hours ago, she shifted on the roof where she was couched down letting out a sound of disgust as she remembered the way he had shit himself before he died. She turned her attention back to the present, watching as some men gathered around a magazine laughing and smoking with their backs to her. The warehouse that the motel owner had confessed it was where he kept his new “products” before selling them into a life of horror. They targeted homeless kids between ages of 10 and 17. They identify the loners, innocent ones or desperate ones and either offer them a job that supposedly pays a lot within a short period of time, kidnap them, or get them hooked on drugs.

“Men,” she muttered with disgust. “Fuck every last one of them.”

She clenched her fists as she put on her heavy-weight, spiked brass knuckles on her left hand, her leather gloves creaking softly as she reached down to her ankle holster and brought out her trusty Glock 19.

She was ready.

She dropped behind them and ran at them shooting the first one to turn and notice her.

The rest turned to run, eyes wide as they recognized her mask. One ran started running towards the warehouse to probably call for help and the other tried to run past her.

She quickly shot the one running to the warehouse in the back. "Your boss is dead stupid fuck. Even if you call, one is sending help."

Turning to the other, she caught one by the collar, yanking him back and throwing him to the ground. He quickly scrambled to his feet, pulling out a knife.

"A fun one finally!" She exclaimed in excitement.

She dodged his clumsy attack, grabbed his wrist and used the butt of her gun to snap it. He screamed, holding his wrist and retreating.

“Aww come on! Fight!" she said, giggling as she slowly walked towards him as he looked at her fearfully.

“Please don’t kill me; I am just following orders,” he whimpered.

Bella laughed, ran towards him, and kneed him in his stomach, making him double over, and she knocked him out with an elbow to the back of his head.

Turning back to the first two, she bent to search their clothes for any keys; she didn’t want to go to the warehouse and then have to come back to get the keys.

She found a bunch in the pocket of the man she had shot in the back, he grabbed her hand as she started pulling it out, gurgling blood. “Pl…please hel…” he stammered out.

"Oh, that’s rich of you,” Bella said, hitting his hand away. “I was going to put you out of your misery, but now I will leave you to drown in your own blood.”

As she stood up, she noticed a movement from the corner of her eye; she ducked in time as a knife narrowly missed her. The man she had knocked out recovered very fast, surprising her; she knew she had used enough force when knocking him out.

She threw her hard at his head then ran at him, puncjing him on his head and chest in quick succession. He tried to shield himself, but her fists found their targets. Blood sprayed from his nose, and he fell to the ground.

She paused as she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket distracting her, only a few people that this particular number so it was probably business or an emergency.

Trying to use her distraction, the man tried to reach for the gun, but Bella stomped on his hand, crushing it under her boot. "Awww, be patient a little I will continue playing with you in a while.”

He screamed, but she silenced him with a vicious kick to the jaw. Then she placed a foot on his neck, slowly increasing pressure. Ignoring his struggles, she brought out her phone. Looking at the screen, she saw it was her assistant Maria calling.

“Yes?” She answered breathlessly

“Did I catch you at the wrong time?”

"No, I was just having a little fun,” she replied.

“Bella….” Maria said it in a warning tone.

“Oh, don’t be a worrywart; I didn’t blow up anything this time around. Is there something you wanted to tell me?”

Maria sighed loudly over the phone; she could literally see her holding the bridge of her nose in frustration “You know what? I’m not even going to ask; I know you clean up well afterward. I just wanted to remind you that the fundraiser you wanted to attend is tomorrow, and don't you dare go there with any visible scars or injuries. I have booked your favorite makeup artist and hairstylist. Bye.”

She frowned a little as she hung up. Maria has grown into a worrywart recently.

She looked at the bodies laying around. "Well, that was a nice workout,” she muttered, as she casually shoots the struggling man under her feet in the lungs; he should suffer a little before dying.

Humming a song, she walked to the warehouse and then tried different keys on the bunch till the right one opened the door. Inside the warehouse was dimly lit; the ground floor was bare, but the upper floor had cells. Going up the stairs, she saw only 2 were occupied. Teens huddled together; most had bruises.

She sighed. Human trafficking has been becoming more rampant in the area; it didn’t used to be like this. When she found the ones responsible, she would rip them a new asshole.

She threw the keys into one of the cells; the oldest boy crouched and picked it up.

“Free yourself and the others. There is a bag of cash in the black car down the alley, the key still in the ignition. Get out of here, return home, or get a place for yourselves. I will be watching all of you; if any of you try to dupe the others or squander the money, I will know,” she told them.

“Nightclaw…” He said in awe as he stared at black mask on her face with the blood-red claw mark running down the left side ; it looked like a tiger had clawed over the eye down to the chin.

Bella giggled, “I just love that nickname y’all gave me. Now, be good kids; I’ve got a summons to obey.”

As she headed down the stairs, she heard another say in wonder, “Fuck! I can’t believe Nightclaw rescued me; wait till I tell others about this.”

Bella smiled as she quickly walked out of the building to the end of the alley where she parked her bike. Her mind shifting to other things, she must not forget the gala of Maria will kill her after all the stress she went through to get the ticket for her ‘cause those tickets hadn’t been easy to get, nor cheap, but she had her reasons.

The city couldn't seem to stop talking about him. The billionaire playboy philanthropist, if half the rumors were true, Alexandro D’ Soto seemed like and an interesting man.

And she had a habit of looking into things that intrigued her. And who knows, maybe she might even decide to have a taste of him

"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé.
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.

I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
