Chapter 1
Rory’s POV
“Oh fuck…”
Seeing her writhing in pleasure beneath me had to have been the highlight of my week thus far. It was fucking glorious.
Her hair fell in soft waves across the flannel sheets, her tantalizingly large breasts bouncing hypnotically in tune with each push of my hips against hers. I still couldn’t believe that I was given such a sexy royal. She was beyond perfect, body and soul.
Her hands frantically gripped and grabbed at me, but I caught them in my merciless grasp, pulling them high above her head as I continued to pound into her. The swelling of her wanton pussy was massaging my cock in the most delicious of ways, and I knew I wouldn’t be able to hold out much longer.
I needed her to come, not only to satisfy my greedy cock, but also to satisfy my heart.
My entire purpose in this world at this point was to bring my Queen pleasure. I desired her, honored her, worshipped her. I just wanted her to see how madly in love with her I was, and this was the best way I knew how.
Her red eyes met mine, lazy with lust as she fought my restraints.
But I wouldn’t grant her freedom. I would give her exactly what she needed.
She just needed to trust me.
Instead of freeing her, I brought my other hand to her face, gripping her jaw roughly as my forehead rested against hers. “Do you like feeling helpless, Queen? Do you like when I fuck you this way?” I breathed, tightening my grip on her, making her wince.
Regardless of my possessive aggression, her lewd cries rang out, filling our bedroom with the sounds of her passion.
“I love you, Aria. I love you so fucking much.” I gritted, pulling my mouth to her collarbone, then tracing a hot line to her right shoulder.
It was true. I loved her so much that it should terrify me. I didn’t fully understand it. All I knew was that she was my entire world, and I wanted everyone to know.
Mine.
I latched on with force, eliciting a yelp from my love that satisfied my primal urges. I suckled her there until her sweet blood came to the surface through her pores, nearly driving me into a frenzy.
She was so damn sweet.
Her hips began to match my thrusts in unbridled urgency, and I knew she was close.
“Rory…” She mewled, her back arching from the bed, effectively pushing her sweat lined breasts against my bare chest. I could feel the tautness of her nipples brushing against my pecks, making me increase my pace exponentially.
“Fuck, love. Come. Right fucking now.” I demanded, flashing her the white of my fangs as I grit my teeth. Her own hips stilled, but mine didn’t, continuing my assault until I felt her tighten around my cock, the wet and soft muscles inside of her coaxing me to join her.
The rest of her body spasmed beneath me, thrashing against my hold because of her oversensitivity.
“Rory!” She shouted, begging for relief.
I had to come, but I didn’t want to stop. I wanted to stay like this forever.
Her and me. In unity.
But my body betrayed my desire, swelling until my tip burst forth with copious amounts of hot semen, filling then leaking out of her exhausted body.
“Shit.” I grounded, gyrating my hips against her to make sure I was thoroughly emptied. The heavy rise and fall of her chest matched mine, and I knew she would want me to hold her, but as I glanced down, something caught my attention.
Fuck.
A large bruise had formed on her right shoulder and I was both incredibly pleased and terribly mortified. She didn’t have many rules when it came to sex. Hell, she was pretty wild herself, but she did make one thing clear.
She didn’t want to be marked.
She was concerned that in doing so, one of us would feel left out. Then she would have to allow the other to mark her and she would feel like a tree two dogs were pissing on.
I understood that, which was why the sensible part of me was worried about her response.
Still, the darker part of me, the part I kept hidden so as not to upset her again, loved the fact that I had marked her. She was going to be mine in the end, after all.
Only mine.
She just didn’t know it, yet.
I gave her soft and delectable lips a firm kiss, leaning back on my hind legs with my hands resting low on my hips. She still didn’t move, her arms flaccid above her head as her breathing regulated.
She offered me a sated smile, but I couldn’t return it because of guilt.
“Do you maybe want a drink, love?” I offered, holding out my hand to help her sit. If she drank from me, the hickey would heal.
She cocked her head, scanning my face for an explanation of my bizarre question as she raised herself.
“No? I just drank from you an hour ago, silly. That’s how we ended up this way.” Her bashful giggle flooded my senses, making me high with adoration of my royal. “Why do you ask?”
“Huh?”
“Why did you ask if I wanted a drink?” She asked again, glancing at her wrists to see if I might’ve bruised them. Unfortunately, they were clear. Not that I wanted to hurt her. It would’ve just made a great excuse.
“Oh, that.” Shit. Should I tell her the truth and just get it over with? I bit my lip, shaking my head. I had something different in mind. “It really is nothing, love. I must’ve just been caught up in the moment. Seeing you all naked and sprawled out like this is hot as hell.” I grinned, leaning forward to nip at her jaw to really sell it.
She gave a girly laugh, throwing her arms around me and hugging me tight. She was so fucking perfect.
The creaking of the chamber door broke us of our loving embrace.
Bastion bounded across the room, casting us a casual glance and nod as he stripped off his wet shirt. He had been working tirelessly for the past month on achieving his old body shape, which meant that he spent at least two hours in training a day.
“Hey, Bastion.” Aria beamed, her attention redirected.
I pushed her hair to the side, running my lips up and down her lightly tanned neck, but she continued to speak to him.
“Hey, baby. Sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt. I was just hopping in the shower.” He said, clearly pleased at her notice.
“Oh that’s okay. We just, um, finished.” Her face flushed in embarrassment. Even after almost a full year of this, she still got shy when it came to sex. Only in talking about it, though. Doing the deed turned her into a little vixen.
Bastion flashed her his dimples, resting his tongue between his teeth in a playful grin. “Want to join me, then?” He asked.
I bit my tongue. If I showed my displeasure, she would shut down again.
I wouldn’t be able to handle her trying to run from me. It nearly broke me last time.
“Um…” She glanced over at me, but I gave her a reassuring smile.
“You’ll need to wash up anyway.” I reminded her. She nodded in agreement, pulling me in for one last kiss before hopping down from the bed.
Bastion’s eyes trailed up her naked form, hungrily drinking her in before stopping abruptly on her right shoulder. His eyes widened slightly, darting to mine in a mix of shock and confusion, as if he expected an explanation.
I smirked confidently back at him, making him furrow his brow.
As long as he didn’t tell her, I would be fine.
His lips formed a flat, unamused line, but he didn’t say a word, following Aria into the bathroom like the lost puppy dog he was.
A small inkling of guilt panged my chest after the ordeal. Fuck, what is wrong with me all of a sudden? Since when did I become a territorial barbarian?
I knew the answer. It was that damned drawing.
Ever since discovering it in Jesse’s office, I’d had this inescapable fear that Aria would leave me. I found myself thinking and dreaming about it constantly, and it was driving me fucking mad.
I couldn’t let her leave me. I would be nothing without her. She wouldn’t leave me, right?
But wouldn’t that mean she would have to abandon Bastion for the prophecy to come true? Or that Bastion would somehow die? Was I an asshole for preferring that outcome?
Maybe, but I technically had her first.
I had every right to be the one standing at her side, and I would not allow it to end any differently.
I was her King. Forever.
