A month later, I got home from the trip to Moonlight Forest. I was exhausted. I dropped onto the couch and called out her name the way I always had when I came through the door.

"Nora."

No answer.

I frowned, irritated."Nora, stop sulking. I'm hungry. Make me something to eat."
