Introduction
Chapter 1
"Yes, Doctor Dani, this son of mine wants to study abroad. It is also for his future. "I could hear Doctor Dani and his patient talking.
"That is nice! Studying abroad is another good alternative. Barely a few are bestowed the privilege to study abroad. "Doctor Dani's recommendation.
Eventually, after checking up by Doctor Dani, the patient came out of the infirmary.
"Eve, how many more patients do I still have outside?" He asked me.
"Just one more. I will call her." My simple response.
I stood up. Then I called the last patient.
She entered Doctor Dani's clinic.
"Uncle Dani!" And the patient smooched Doctor Dani on his cheek.
"Nina, why are you alone?" Doctor Dani seems to be looking for someone.
"I just want to bring this to you. We just arrived from Milan. This is my present for you, Uncle Dani. "And the woman handed over the paper bag she was carrying.
This woman is glamorous and enchanting. I noticed that she is a well-off woman but she seems to be tender and kind.
She frequently smirks. And she mumbled softly.
Milan? Abroad?
Why do some people gush to get what they prefer? There are people who no longer struggle for their trances. There are people out there who have everything they desire.
There are people who no longer need to plead for their wish to be fulfilled. There are people born fortunate.
And sadly to say, there are also people born dreadful.
And probably I am one of those hard-luck people in the universe.
I am Everlee Legazpi. I have nothing to be proud of in my vitality. I do not even know how to bring up myself.
I am a restless woman. I am not vibrant enough to glare and slump prettily each day.
I am twenty-four years old but I have not graduated with a college degree yet.
I attained my freshmen year but was not able to keep going with my course.
Mom could not afford to expend for my education.
She is independent in racing me. She is also a sallow woman.
She is Loleen Legazpi. I did not know my Dad. But Mama's devotion and care were adequate for me not to be inquisitive.
I got full support and compassion from my mother. So I will struggle hard for her. As long as I can.
I am the secretary at the infirmary of Dr. Danilo Rivero. He is a Cardiologist. He is aged so I cannot abandon him.
He is sixty-three years old but a promising physician. Ever since I graduated high school I have served with him.
So Doctor Dani is likely a father to me. He is considerate to me. To reciprocate his kindness, I am still working in his infirmary and I am initiatively assisting him.
"Hello there!" Suddenly the beautiful woman said as she moved toward me.
"Hello, Madam!" I said gleaming.
Maybe she is in her thirties. But it is not apparent yet because she is really lovely and self-conscious.
She is trendy and fine-looking.
"How nice of you! You are pretty." She has surprisingly complimented me.
"Madam, thank you!" that is all I could assert.
"That is credible, you can be a celebrity. People would love to watch you on the screen. Your loveliness is tremendous.
Here! " she praised me again and put something on my table.
"Oh! Thank you for this." I stood up as I thanked her.
"That is really for you! Uncle Dani, I will get going! See you around!"And she finally left with a smile.
"She is a brilliant woman! She is so tolerant too." I was suddenly taken aback.
"She and her husband are considerate. Then you know, Eve, what she said is genuine. You can be a celebrity. "Doctor Dani mumbled too.
"I know you are tolerant to me. But do not bully me, Doctor Dani." I still shuddered.
"You should proceed with your studies. Did you not dream of being an Anchorwoman?
Oops! Such faces are good to watch on television. "He chuckled.
"I am aged. I am already twenty -four years old.
Maybe when I complete my course, I will not be accepted as an Anchorwoman.
They would rather accept fresher talents. "I laughed a little.
"It is not just about the looks. Not just about the age.
I know, you are promising. You are the one who prepares my speech when I attended a seminar, right?
I am sorry if I cannot support your studies. " his face was depressed.
"Doctor Dani, I am not your obligation. Then you have four children.
You are a widower. Your children need you. "I tapped his shoulder.
"It is ample for me that you deal with me like your own child," I added.
"Thank you, Eve and you are not vacating me. All right, go home. I know you are exhausted. You also need to rest for your other job. "He ordered.
I am delighted with my life even though it is complicated. I am withstanding each day!
That is a godsend and a miracle from heaven.
"Mom! Mom!" I yelled at her when I got home.
Maybe she came out.
I go straight to the bedroom. I unwrapped the paper bag the wonderful woman had bestowed me earlier.
"Wow!" I suddenly uttered when I opened the box inside.
Is she serious about giving this to me? Or did she just make a mistake?
I found a necklace inside the box. Its chain is too thin.
It is made of Gold!
Is it real gold? Probably not.
Why would she give me real gold?
It has a heartbeat pendant. I put it on and I glanced in the mirror.
"It is impressive! Indeed so beautiful!" I admire the necklace.
"Hhhmmm who gave you that? Is it Luigi?" Mom suddenly mumbled.
"Mom, Luigi is just my friend." I confronted her.
"Do you mean, you have another lover or you already have a boyfriend?" she patted my shoulder.
"Nothing! I have not thought about having a boyfriend yet.
The patient gave it earlier. She is a woman. She went home from a trip abroad. "I clarified.
Mom glared at the necklace. She used to work in a pawnshop. So she knows about jewelry.
"Wow! This one is real gold. That woman is very kind.
You deserve it, Everlee, you are adorable too, dear! "And she let go of the necklace pendant.
"Why would she give me a real gold necklace? I do not know who she is? But she praised me earlier. She said I am beautiful. "I giggled.
"You are really beautiful, Eve."Mom caressed my chin.
"Of course, I got it from you." I hugged her.
But the truth is, I do not look like Mom. Mom is gorgeous especially maybe when she was young.
She possessed a Filipina beauty. But for me, I do not look like a pure Filipina.
My skin is pinkish-white and smooth. My nose is pointed. My lips are narrow and cherry-red. I have lengthy blonde twirly hair. And my eyes were not black. They are brownish-green.
Various people ask if I have contact lenses. But not really. I cannot afford contact lenses by this time of my life.
I think, my father is a foreigner. There is nothing written on my birth certificate so I have no notion.
I also did not meet Mom's relatives.
My mother is very confidential. But I am overwhelmed that I grew up with my Mom.
She did her very best to raise me!
My mother is not affluent but she is still the best for me.
My life is not effortless but I still feel fortunate.

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

Steamy, fierce, and full of heart, Goddess of the Underworld is a reverse harem, found-family paranormal romance where love writes the rules and keeps three realms from falling apart.
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

Invisible To Her Bully
Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
