Chapter 3 Chapter 1.3

I don't know how many hours have passed since I lost consciousness in the office. As I expected, I was in the hospital. I just touched my head when I felt dizzy for a moment.

I slowly got up and then looked around the room, but I was alone. Did they leave me here? I massaged my temples. My problem is already our daily needs, and now my hospitalization has been added.

I just sighed. When the door opened, I looked there, and a man I didn't know entered.

"You're awake, that's good then. I bought your food outside, so I went out earlier. How's your feeling? Are you okay now?" he asked me, but I was looking at him with a frown. Have I seen him before? But even if I stare at him, I don't remember seeing him even at the company. I know all my co-workers at the company, but I haven't seen him there.

"Thank you for your help, but do we know each other?" I asked him shyly, but he just smiled at me. He's good-looking, the type of man that women would go crazy for, but I don't have time for men.

"We don't know each other, but I don't want anything to happen to my employees at the company because if something happens to you, it's my responsibility." My eyes widened at what he said. Did he mean that he's the son of the owners of the company I work for?

"Are you the son of Sir and Ma'am Zapanta?" I couldn't hide the surprise in my voice. He smiled and nodded at me, so in my panic, I stood up to pay my respects to him, but he stopped me.

"You don't need to do that, it's okay. It's just right that you lost consciousness earlier because I didn't want to go to the company yet, so I stayed here to watch over you. How are you feeling? Are you being overworked at the company to the point that you lost consciousness?" I sat up straight and then shook my head at him.

"No, Sir, I'm okay. I can even go out later, I just got dizzy."

"Good then," he said and then prepared the food he bought earlier. I was embarrassed, I didn't know that he was the son of the owner of the company I work for. I even bothered him.

"I'm sorry, Sir, but I'm okay now, so you don't need to stay here," I said to him shyly.

"Don't worry, I won't do anything. You're overworking yourself, are you even aware that you're pregnant? The Doctor said that's the reason why you lost consciousness earlier." I bowed my head shyly, what will he think of me?

"I'm sorry," I only said.

"You don't need to say that because the company really needs to understand someone like you. The company will also pay for your hospital bills because you were at work when that happened." I didn't know what to say to him because of his kindness. He's even more handsome when he smiles.

He let me eat first, and then he sat on the sofa. How can I thank him? I'm embarrassed because he's the one who brought me to the hospital, took care of me, and watched over me, and then the company is paying for my expenses here.

After a while, someone knocked on the door, so he opened it, but when I saw who entered, I almost choked. I quickly drank water and then looked again because maybe I was just hallucinating, but I had already blinked my eyes several times, I was still seeing him. He's dead. What is he doing here?

I quickly put my food on my side table and then lay down and covered my whole face with the blanket. What he is doing here? Damn it!

"They told me you were here today, what are you doing here?" I heard his voice. I could only swallow, did he and Sir Zapanta know each other? I remember the face of the man I was with that night, and I know that he's the man who's here in my room now. Why are you here?

I didn't know what to do, I couldn't leave here because if I ran out, it would be embarrassing for Sir Zapanta, he might think I was running away from him.

"Who did you bring here?" I heard him ask again. Please don't come near me. Please, please.

"An employee, oh, she fell asleep so quickly, never mind. Why did you come here? You didn't wait for me at the office, so we could have just talked there. Can't what you're going to say wait?" Sir Zapanta said laughing, I don't know his name, so I'll just call him by his last name.

What is that man doing here at the hospital? A month has passed since the first and last time I saw him, but why did he show up now, and really at this kind of opportunity?

I will never forget the face of the man who is the father of what I'm carrying.
