Chapter 4 The Noble Man

After hanging up, Olivia stayed with Bianca, continuing to play and completely forgetting about Harper.

But that afternoon, Bianca seemed to be in a funk.

Her mood was a bit down, possibly influenced by Harper or something else.

The next morning, Olivia tried to cheer her up with some exercises, but there was no improvement.

Realizing that staying in such a gloomy place wasn't helping Bianca, Olivia decided to take her to an outdoor playground.

Although Bianca had autism, Olivia saw her as no different from other kids.

A place full of fun and other children her age might be just what she needed.

And it turned out Bianca really liked it there.

Especially when she saw the pink fox and purple bunny in the cartoon-themed park, she didn't want to leave.

Olivia bought tickets and took her to the forest treasure hunt.

The playground had a simulated cartoon forest where you could find treasures using music and clues.

Olivia chose this activity to help improve Bianca's motor skills and thinking abilities.

Soon, Olivia and Bianca were inside.

Olivia played with Bianca for a while.

At first, Bianca was scared of the unfamiliar environment.

But with Olivia's patient company, Bianca gradually let down her guard and started to engage actively.

Olivia slowly stepped back, letting Bianca find clues on her own, while she followed at a distance.

There were other kids in the castle too.

Two girls around Bianca's age saw her, thought she was as pretty as a doll, and immediately liked her. They ran over to greet her and even suggested teaming up to find clues.

"Hey, I'll help you find the clues, and you can have them all, okay?"

"You're so cute! What's your name? Can we be friends?"

Bianca was scared at first, but as time passed and she realized the girls meant no harm, she began to accept them.

Olivia watched and didn't intervene.

These two girls seemed like little angels, completely different from Sophia's nasty son.

With their help, Bianca started finding clues faster.

Just then, the clue for the next level appeared.

It was placed in a spot that required climbing up a rope structure to get to.

The other two girls quickly climbed up with ease.

When it was Bianca's turn, Olivia couldn't help but feel nervous.

The spot wasn't too high, and there were cushions below, but she was still afraid Bianca might fall.

Not far away, a distinguished figure stood tall, watching in their direction.

The man had a sharp nose and wore gold-rimmed glasses, with the chain hanging at both ends. His eyes behind the lenses were narrow, deep, and calm.

He was dressed in a crisp white shirt, black trousers, and a long black coat. A delicate bracelet adorned his wrist, complementing his refined, almost ethereal presence like a snow-capped peak.

He stood still, radiating an aura that kept people at a distance.

Next to him was his assistant, David Jones, who was used to this scene.

Every time he finished a psychological consultation, he would come to places like this.

The patients' experiences were often dark.

A place full of childhood fun could help alleviate their condition.

He had been coming here for three days straight... and the commotion was growing day by day.

More and more girls were gathering around, sneaking glances.

"He's so handsome! I really want to ask for his contact info, but I'm too scared! He's been here for three days straight!"

"Last month, I waited for two weeks and didn't see him. Finally, I get to see him. Is he some big shot or a wealthy heir?"

"He looks like someone important. No one dares to get close. I really want to take a picture to show my friends. They need to understand what 'devastatingly handsome' means."

"I think we shouldn't even try. Someone like him is out of our league! Didn't you notice the bodyguards around him?"

David listened quietly, thinking these girls were quite sensible and aware of their limits.

His boss was indeed not someone ordinary people could dream of!

Since they weren't doing anything inappropriate, David didn't take any action, just waited quietly without disturbing them.

Right now, his boss was focused on the little girl not far away.

David followed his gaze, slightly puzzled.

His boss had been watching that girl all day.

Was there something special about her?

At that moment, Bianca, encouraged by the other girls, started climbing the rope.

Her movements weren't very agile, but she climbed steadily.

Olivia began to relax.

Just then, a nearby child accidentally fell, seemingly hurt.

Since she was close, Olivia reached out to help.

Unexpectedly, in that brief moment, Bianca slipped and fell from the rope structure.

"Watch out!" David instinctively shouted.

The man beside him had already moved swiftly, catching the soft Bianca firmly.

Bianca looked terrified.

"Don't be scared, you're okay." The man gently patted her, soothing her.

His voice was cool, like it was covered in frost, distant.

Yet somehow, it had a calming warmth.

Bianca immediately felt reassured, staring at the man with timid yet obedient eyes.

The man, expressionless, put her down and handed her the clue card.

Then, he spoke softly, "Be more careful next time."

Only then did Olivia realize what had happened, her heart nearly stopping from fright, and she rushed over.
