Chapter 5 Three-way only!
“You can't have a child? Then we have no deal. I'm sorry.”
He turned to leave, but I reached out and grabbed his arm.
“Wait.”
I pulled him back toward me… a little too hard and he stumbled straight into my chest. Before he could recover, I tiptoed and kissed him on the lips.
And we broke apart almost immediately, he looked at me with deep affection in his eyes and I saw the kind of heat I’d never seen in Larry. It was like something raw was resting under his skin, waiting to break out.
He slid his fingers up the back of my neck, tilting my head back just enough to pull me close, and kissed me. This time he didn't hold back. It was deep and desperate, our tongues tangled, salivas mixing, every breath hot against each other's skin. I bit his lower lip softly, pulling it between my teeth before letting go.
His hands dropped down to my ass, gripping the two cheeks to pull me up, but I put a hand against his chest.
“Stop.”
He stopped instantly, his chest heaving as he fought to catch his breath.
“Sorry,” he muttered, his voice rough and deep.
“I want to,” I whispered, looking right at him. “Just not right here or now.”
I walked around him and moved out onto the balcony, the cool evening air hitting my face and scattering my hair. I could hear his footsteps right behind me, heavy and slow strides.
“I like you,” he said, his voice barely audible over the wind.
“I know.” I kept my eyes on the pool below, watching the light ripple across the water.
“Maybe I showed a little too much emotion back there,” he said, stepping closer. “What do you actually want from me?”
“I already told you.”
“Is that all? Fine. Consider it done.”
He closed the space between us, coming up behind me until I could feel the heat of his body against my back. He leaned down and pressed a slow, warm kiss into the side of my neck, right on the nape.
I turned around in his grip, looking up at him, and brought his face back to mine. This time I took my time, kissing him slow and deep, letting the tension just melt between us.
He reached down again, and this time I didn't stop him. His huge hand cupped my ass, gripping them firmly as he lifted me off my feet. I locked my legs around his waist, wrapping my arms around his shoulders as our mouth met in an even deeper, more desperate kiss.
Reaching down my chest, I grabbed the hem of my top and pulled it up, guiding his head directly to my sore boobs. My nipples hardened in the intensity, aching from the sheer rush of arousal, my body starving for him. He took my right boob into his mouth, sucking hard, like a starving man offered a last meal. A loud moan slipped past my lips before I could hold it back.
He lowered me back onto the floor, and I turned around to lean over the balcony railing, taking no time in attacking my shorts and g string and pulling them down my thighs. Behind me, I could hear the sharp sound of his zipper coming undone.
“Is this why you were lying there like a rotten log?”
Larry’s deep, furious voice shattered the silence of the evening.
Matteo scrambled back, frantically adjusting his clothes and pulling away from me.
“I'm so sorry, man,” Matteo stammered, stepping back, his eyes fixed on the floor while I stood there, exposed from the waist down.
“Don't apologize,” I said, my voice deadpan and icy.
Matteo retreated toward the house, repeating "sorry" with every two steps he took until he disappeared.
I slowly pulled my emotions together and looked at Larry. “You set this whole thing in motion, and now you're jealous?”
“Jealous? You look like you're way into this,” Larry snarled, his jaw clenching. “You must take me for a complete fool. There is no sex unless it’s a three-way. Pull up your shorts, you whore!”
I let out a bitter sigh, staring at him. “I need to make it as real as possible and this is really what I get in return for pleasing you? For doing every single thing you asked for?”
“A mansion! Two fucking Rolls-Royces! Multiple businesses and my fucking name is what you get!” Larry barked, taking a menacing step toward me. “Protection from that criminal stepfather of yours is what you get! So don't you dare try to gaslight me now.”
Getting reminded I had a bear hunting me down completely ruined whatever mood Matteo had kept me in. I couldn't even lie to myself… I was into him. And if the man standing in front of me tried to get in my way now, he was no better than the monster on my trail.
I reached down and pulled my shorts back up.
“I'm sorry,” I muttered, my voice barely audible over the wind. “He was about to walk away. I thought... I thought that was the only way to make him stay.”
“You think offering your body to a man who isn't your husband is a brilliant idea?” Larry snapped, glaring down at me. “What happens when he gets what he wants and just runs away?”
“At least I’d know I tried to please you.”
“Please me?” Larry let out a harsh, bitter laugh. “You lay there like a dead weight when I touch you, but look at you around him. You were practically begging for it.”
“I was trying to do what you asked,” I said quietly, the lie feeling heavy on my tongue.
“You sound completely stupid.” He shook his head, turned on his heel, and walked away into the darkness of the house.
The moment he was gone, my strength gave out. I slouched back against the cold balcony rail and slid down until I was sitting on the floor, my knees pulled up, utterly exhausted and terrified.
“Is he gone?”
A voice spoke from the shadows. Matteo stepped onto the balcony and sank onto the floor beside me.
“You need to leave,” I whispered without looking at him. “Before he comes back and sees you here.”
“I thought you wanted me.”
“I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANT!” I almost screamed, the words tearing out of my throat before I could stop them.
Matteo just looked at me, a faint, crooked smile playing on his lips. “That makes two of us.”
“I thought having you around would make things easier,” I sighed, resting my forehead against my knees. “Turns out it’s just going to make everything harder.”
I looked up at him, the realization washing over me all at once. It was the only choice I had left.
“Can you leave today?”
It wasn't because I didn't want him, or because I suddenly felt some deep loyalty to Larry. It was because I knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that I couldn't resist Matteo if he stayed. And that was a fire that would burn the whole house down. I wasn't ready to fuck around and find out.
