The morning rays woke me, and Cillian’s torso was inches away from me. I lifted his arm from my waist, making sure I didn't wake him. 

“Trying to flee again?” He whispered with that sultry bedroom voice, I felt my body stiffen like a stone, I was a statue made of gravel, unfeeling and in denial.
