Chapter 1
Why was the ground split into two? Grace asked herself trying to make head and tail of the situation. She felt her boyfriend trying to steady her.
Still trying to come to her senses, she felt an excruciating headache. It was like a thousand horses were stampeding on her brain because she heard noises. Noises that didn't sound right because it wasn't possible.
Panting and breathing filled the room and she thought it was hers but she noticed that her heart, though, heavy from the alcohol but her breathing couldn't have been so loud.
As her vision cleared, she could make out a man and a woman kissing passionately in the dimly lit room. Her jaw dropped, every trace of drowsiness washing away. Fuck she was sleeping so did people not have any shame?
Where was her boyfriend? He brought her to a room where people were about to fuck each other?
Like being struck by lightning, Grace looked at the two of them in shock as they continued to kiss by her bedside.
“Cindy stop it. Grace only just fell asleep. We don't need to wake her up now if we need to get the plan done,” the man warned as he restrained the woman by her waist.
Plan? What plan? What the fuck was going on?
“Come on. Are you afraid that your so-called girlfriend will wake up?” Cindy responded in an annoyed tone, rolling her eyes. “I miss you. I need you. You have been spending so much time with her that you seem to forget about our deal.
“Babe, you are such a troublemaker. Let's go to another room and do it. We send that man here and get the deal done. Once it's done, you and I can fully be together. No strings attached to her. Understand?” Babe? Did Grace hear that correctly? Fuck! What the hell!?
“Oh. I want to do it in front of her. Make her hear my moans. Maybe she can wake up in between, watch but not do anything. The drugs would numb all her senses” Cindy swiftly unbuttons the man's shirt as their lips locked again.
Grace tried to hold back her tears but she could feel the wetness on her cheek. What they had said was right. She could only feel the light senses of her body. No. This wasn't happening! How could they!? Her boyfriend, the man she loved, was cheating on her and had a plan against her.
She couldn't move, but she could hear and she could see. This was what they meant by wanting to catch air. Her heart constricted and it cried, howling inside of her. The tears made her bleed, her soul on its knees. She couldn't breathe. The air was painful to take in because she wanted to die. Falling off a cliff a thousand times was better than this.
“Behave! Let's go to a separate place. Isn't the bathtub your favorite spot? We can do it there but not here, okay?”
“Fine, you go first” Cindy nudged the man's chest towards the door. As soon as he was out, she walked towards where Grace lay and leaned in whispering into her ear.
“I am sure you enjoyed what you saw. He is no longer yours. But mine. You don't deserve a man like that. He is too good for you. You are nothing but a skinny human being, who is scared of her own shadow.”
Grace gritted her teeth watching Cindy’s retreating back.
Grace wanted to spit at the lady's face so badly but she couldn't move her lips.
It was only when the door shut finally was when she felt her world shatter into millions of pieces.
Three years ago, her family used to be at the top.
Her sister was a top model, her dad a rich billionaire, her family was rich but all that changed after her sister died. Her father ran into debt, and he pushed her, her brother, and her mother away. Divorcing and cutting them off.
The once-top Valdes family was now in shatters. Still, her boyfriend's family wanted her in their life. After being betrothed since childhood, they had their moments like any other relationship.
Her boyfriend was sweet on some occasions, and harsh on some occasions.
He was hot but also cold. She appreciated that connection. That love that she could not find anywhere else.
She made sure to work hard to keep this position as his girlfriend and soon-to-be fianceé. She loved him more than anything in this world.
And she thought he loved her too.
No! She couldn't believe it. This must be a dream, just a horrible nightmare, everything will be alright tomorrow.
Grace continued to lie to herself, until she heard the door click. Her eyes moved toward the figure that just walked in. No, as the person staggered in.
She gulped in her fear as the person walked towards the bed.
She could make out his figure, he had broad shoulders. His face was sharp, eyes dark. His hair was a bit ruffled and his eyes were unsure.
The strange man licked his lips as if parched, his eyes scanning the room toward her. He took off his jacket and T-shirt. His trousers. She could see it, the hardness within his boxers.
He walked towards her and lay on top of her, his hands running over her body. She gulped. More tears ran down her cheeks. Why would he do this? She didn't deserve this. She had lost everything but had only her boyfriend who faked his care for her.
Even if was just for his ego, he shouldn't let another man touch her.
Her fear had led her to whimper.
That little noise she made seemed to have struck something in the man as his hands became softer. She could see that he was trying to stop.
But whatever her boyfriend and that Cindy lady must have done to him was preventing him from doing that. She wanted to scream, shout, push him away but she couldn’t.
She just lay there and let him continue with what he was doing. Her body betrayed her halfway as she fell more into it.
The next day arrived as quickly as midnight had come. Grace realized her body was finally back to normal.
Her mind went to last night's event. Being someone who had always liked mild things, she had allowed Victor to throw her the best birthday ever.
Trusting him with herself. Trusting that he loved her. Only for him to cheat on her in her presence and put her in her predicament.
If he wanted to break up why not just tell her?
Why not just end it? Why hurt her like this? Damage her. Make her feel wanted only to push her aside like a rotten egg.
“I am sorry." A voice that sounded like melted caramel pouring on popcorn spoke out, making her open her eyes. In the brightness of the room, she could see his face.
His eyes were sharper than before, his nose well elongated, and his light pink lips looked pouty and cute. His sharp jawline gave him a hard expression.
Grace frowned, sitting up on the bed, the blanket covering her chest. Her cheeks tainted pink as she saw his broad naked chest.
“It's fine. We were both in a predicament that we couldn't avoid." She replied in a clipped tone, the betrayal still stinging like a scorpion’s pinch.
His eyebrow furrowed in a deep frown.
“I don't seem to like this predicament.
“Neither do I. But it is what it is.”
The room was quiet and awkward. She clutched hard on the blanket as she could clearly remember who had done this to her.
It was probably that lady's idea.
Who was she? Grace did not know.
The man rolled his shoulders and was about to get up when the door banged open and a bunch of reporters rushed inside. Flashing cameras at them not concerned about the lack of decency in the slightest.
And the middle of it all was her now ex-boyfriend. He clapped cheerfully as if he was in an auditorium, a slight smirk on his lips.
“Fallen mistress of the Valdes family had now resorted to sleeping with men for leisure With more flashlights, Grace had to cover her face and her eyes. Her heart was thumping, embarassment cloaking her.
She wanted to land an accusatory gaze on Victor, willing him to say something and tell this person to leave and that all this was just a misunderstanding but she couldn't as shame clouded her.
However, an arm circled her shoulders making her feel protected and warm. Feeling strangely safe, Grace cautiously removed the hand from her eyes and looked at the man who wrapped his arms around her.
The man looked up at the people who had rushed into the room. Coldness emitted from the man, one that lowered the temperature of the room. She shivered but the warmth of his touch kept her glued to his side.
If glares could kill, everyone in the room would be dead by now.
“It seemed like everyone would have to get up early to hear this news. However, I am afraid to disappoint you. I Alpha Nelson Divine would have to sue you for invasion of privacy of me and my fianceé.”

Mates: Regrets and Redemption
With my heart in pieces, I sought solace in the last place I expected—my Alpha's arms. One night turned into a dangerous entanglement, and now my Alpha refuses to let me go. As the Alpha’s obsession grows, I'm caught in a web of desire and fear.
Curtis, the boy I once loved, still holds a promise I made, but the Alpha’s powerful presence pulls me deeper into his world. Should I forgive Curtis and keep my word, or should I risk everything for a chance at something wild and unpredictable with the Alpha who won’t take no for an answer?
“There are no limits between us,” he chuckled, the mirth sparkling in his gorgeous eyes. “And all of this stems from the night you gave me both pain and pleasure. I’m simply returning the favor.”
He took two steps forward, and I stepped back. “But…” The memory of what I had done filled me with fear, and I knew I had to get out of there. “I…”
“No, Firecat.” He placed an index finger on my lips. “This will take your mind off that son of a bitch.” His strong hands pulled me by the waist until I felt his hard manhood.
The CEO's Unspoken Love
Before I could answer, he moved closer, suddenly looming over me, his face inches from mine. I felt my breath caught, my lips parting in surprise.
"Then this is the price for speaking ill of me to others," he murmured, nipping my lower lip before claiming my mouth in a real kiss. It began as punishment but quickly transformed into something else entirely as I responded, my initial rigidity melting into compliance, then active participation.
My breathing accelerated, small sounds escaping my throat as he explored my body. His touches were both punishment and pleasure, drawing shudders from me that I thought he felt reverberating through his own body.
My nightgown had ridden up, his hands discovering more of mine with each caress. We were both lost in sensation, rational thought receding with each passing second...
Three years ago, to fulfill the wish of his grandmother, I was forced to marry Derek Wells, the second son of the family that had adopted me for ten years. He didn't love me, but I had secretly loved him all along.

Vengeance of the Forsaken Luna
"Bella." Ethan's tone shifted, taking on that warning edge I knew too well. "Faye is vulnerable right now. She's terrified you'll resent her, that this will divide the pack. The last thing she wants is for this baby to come between us."
"Then you shouldn't have done it." I met his eyes squarely, letting him see the ice in mine. "Go back to your son."
"For fuck's sake." He dragged a hand through his hair. "How many times—it was artificial insemination. They used my sperm, yes, but Faye and I never—"
Bella let out a cold snort. Such brazen lies. Her mate had an affair with his brother's partner, and his entire family helped force her out with nothing, all to make way for the mistress to take her rightful position. Poor fool—he thought she was just an unwanted adopted daughter, easy to dismiss and control. He never knew the computer genius he'd been searching for was his own Luna.
Since he'd tainted himself, Bella was done. She rejected him and reclaimed what was hers, rising to the top with help from Victor, who'd been secretly in love with her for years.
When Ethan tried winning her back: "You don't want our child growing up fatherless."
Bella smiled mockingly. "The child's father isn't you."
Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.
Genevieve loses a bet she can’t afford to pay. In a compromise, she agrees to convince any man her opponent chooses to go home with her that night. What she doesn’t realize when her sister’s friend points out the brooding man sitting alone at the bar, is that man won’t be okay with just one night with her. No, Matteo Accardi, Don of one of the largest gangs in New York City doesn’t do one night stands. Not with her anyway.

His lips crashed into mine, hard, claiming, breath-stealing. When he finally pulled back, his voice was a rough whisper against my lips. “You could call me yours… because you are mine.”
