Chapter 9 9

'They are still following.' She turned, tossing her long black hair, and plunged into the forest. Her green eyes searched for a safe path, and she quickly decided to head towards the dense area of the trees.

Thanks to her slender body, she could easily pass through small gaps. She was wearing a single piece of black cloth covering her breasts and black shorts; half her body was visible.

At her waist was a belt with a few sharp throwing knives hanging from it. The metal sandals protecting her soles had numerous small, needle-like spikes that kept her stable when she stepped on the ground.

Her black hair reached her waist; with her fair skin, green eyes, and long black hair, she was like a fairy who had lost her way in the forest. Her small nose and full pink lips were enough to make any man's heart skip a beat.

Even in the shaded area of the forest, she seemed to radiate light. As she continued to flee, she heard an angry voice: 'CATCH THAT BITCH!' When the girl heard the voice, she turned her head and looked behind her.

The voice was extremely familiar because it belonged to an important person who had tried to use her. Her name was Lea. She was born in the Moonstone Magician Union; her mother was a prostitute, so she never knew her father.

Her mother sold her to a slave trader at the age of 7. What followed was a miserable life. The slave trader changed professions a few years later, turning to gladiator fights, and hired a few experts to train all the young slaves he had.

These experts began training them, regardless of whether they were men or women, and they learned to use almost every type of weapon. While her master, the slave trader, bought and fought with adult slaves, he never put the slaves he started training as children into the arena even once, but he taught them how to kill.

Every month, they fought among themselves. After a while, the Slave Trader discovered a different use for the children. They would kill his rivals to clear his path. He started using children who were only 12 to 14 years old to eliminate his rivals.

Even then, Lea's unique beauty was striking; many horny pedophiles had been slaughtered by her hands, but her beauty was also her curse. The slave trader's rapid rise caught the attention of high-ranking individuals.

One of them was an Aziz-level magician, one of the prestigious students of the Moonstone Magician Union. After seeing Lea, his heart almost jumped out, and he threatened the slave trader who didn't want to sell Lea and drowned him in gold.

The slave trader, who received 1,000 slave coins for just one person, sold Lea to this person without hesitation. The day she was sold, she was 16, and after cutting off the penis of the man who couldn't wait until night, she had fled the lands of the Moonstone Magician Union.

She had been trained for years and was fast, but her pursuers were also fast. She had been running for 2 months, crossing mountains, entering regions known as death zones, and using old smugglers' routes to reach the lands of the Fei Clan.

But her pursuers still hadn't left her alone. They were watching every step she took. She thought she was safer after entering the Fei Clan lands, but she wasn't. The pursuit continued, and if they caught her, her beauty wouldn't save her this time.

She continued to flee for weeks, unable to rest for more than a few hours. As she was at the Aziz level, her body was durable, but she only ate what she stole from the forest or residential areas while fleeing, and she could only drink water for a few minutes while running.

As for sleep, she could only rest for a few hours at night when the pursuit stopped. For exactly 3 months, she fled non-stop and continued to flee until she reached the Fei Clan City.

While running, she saw a small path in the depths of the forest and continued to flee parallel to the road. She believed she could shake off the pursuers who were crazy enough to enter the Fei Clan's lands in the Fei Clan city.

After almost 2 hours of flight, she noticed through the trees that the noon sun was at its peak. The path she was following had widened, and she noticed human footprints.

Her green eyes sparkled, and she increased her speed by using more power. She no longer stopped for food or water. She would continue to run even if it was night; she didn't know this region, but they had taught her how to survive, so she could determine her direction.

At 1 PM, she noticed the forest thinning out. The path was now wide enough for four people to walk on. While running fast, she checked behind her, and the moment she checked, she saw 10 people propelling themselves forward by stepping on the tree branches.

Each of them was wearing black robes. After cursing 'Damn it...', she increased her speed, but she was very tired; if she didn't have a strong will, she wouldn't have managed to flee for three months.

When she turned her head and checked on them, of course, she couldn't see in front of her, and at that moment, she bumped into someone. Both of them rolled on the ground at the same time, and she heard a panicked voice.

'Young Master...' even though it was a man's voice, it was thin and weak, but when he heard two people running with steps that shook the ground, he realized there were others.

She rolled, her speed dropped, but she hit her head on a small rock and lost consciousness. As she closed her eyes, the last thing she thought was that she would never open them again.

The person she bumped into was none other than Nicolas; he was looking for some herbs in the forest that he couldn't find in the pharmacy, and thanks to his superior alchemy knowledge, he found a few medicinal plants that looked like regular weeds.

As he bent down to pick them up, a girl he didn't understand where she came from bumped into him, and both of them rolled.

While Nicolas was lying on the grass looking at the sky, he still hadn't gathered his thoughts. As his two guards and Albert hurried to his side, Nicolas stood up with the help of his hands and looked at the girl lying a meter away from him.

His eyes widened instantly.... 'So beautiful...' he said, gulping; she was like a fairy girl who fell from the sky. There were freckles spread over her nose and under her eyes; her skin looked white, bright, and delicate.

Her hair was spread on the green grass; she was magnificent. She was so magnificent that Nicolas couldn't help but speed up his heart.

He had seen very beautiful girls in his previous life, some so beautiful it was impossible not to admire them, but Nicolas could swear on his honor that he hadn't seen anyone more beautiful than the black-haired girl lying there.

The guards seemed not to have seen the girl, they were only concerned with Nicolas, but Albert was looking at the fairy girl fallen from the sky as if under a spell. Such beauty was enough to make any man who called himself a man lose his mind.

Nicolas hurriedly turned to the girl, put his hand under her head, and lifted her off the rock. He felt relieved when he didn't see blood, and he also checked with his hand and didn't find any roughness in the bone.

He let out a sigh of relief; it would be a shame if such a girl died in such a way. Nicolas hadn't paid attention to his surroundings because he was busy with Lea, but he turned his head when his two guards suddenly drew their swords and stood in front of him.

Ten people had suddenly appeared in front of them from inside the forest. They looked tired, and one didn't need to be an expert to understand that they were chasing Lea.

Immediately, the tall, black-haired man in the middle stepped forward. The black robe he wore made him look more majestic, but what Nicolas focused on was the emblem on his arm.

This emblem had a pile of dust on its base and a moon on it. Everyone knew this simple design belonged to the Moonstone Union. 'Whoever you are, get lost before you get hurt and hand the girl over to us.' said the man harshly.

The two guards were confident in themselves, but Nicolas slowly stood up and looked at Albert before the 10 people. 'Take care of her, and if you continue to gaze at her with your eyes, I will gouge your eyes out!' he said harshly.

He had already claimed Lea. This wasn't a rare situation; such a woman would cause wars between countries. Her beauty was unique.

Upon hearing Nicolas's sentence, the 10 people no longer doubted that a battle would take place, but Nicolas stepped out from between the two guards and made eye contact with them.

'You are from the Moonstone Magician Union, and moreover, you are direct men of the Union. Not only did you enter the Fei Clan lands without permission, but you also tried to kill someone on our land. Do you know the penalty for this?' Nicolas said.

The 10 people had already understood from the two guards that Nicolas wasn't someone simple, but his face was dirty and he was wearing a cheap robe. It was impossible for him to be that important.

'You! Since you understood our identity, then you have to die.' said the man in the middle harshly.

Nicolas laughed, 'You talk as if you were trying to hide it. The emblems on your arms can be noticed even from a mile away, and killing me will bring you more harm than good. Maybe if you beg for forgiveness, I might let you live.'

Nicolas was sarcastic and accusatory, and it could even be said that he was mocking them, which made the 10 people even more uncomfortable. 'You won't be able to escape death and...'

But Nicolas didn't show any more interest, and as he turned his back, he calmly ordered his guards. 'Kill everyone except the one in the middle. I want to interrogate the one in the middle.' he said.

The faces of the 10 people turned white all of a sudden and they took their guards immediately, but when they looked at Nicolas again, the two guards were no longer next to him, and all of their hairs stood on end at the same time.

'Great Aziz...' said the person in the middle, and before he could finish his sentence, the hot blood of the man standing next to him splashed onto his face.

As he turned his head in slow motion, he saw that the heads of all the men who were standing just now had been severed and were lying on the ground covered in blood.

When he felt the cold metal touching the back of his neck, his heart fluttered like a bird. He couldn't believe such a thing, a kick hit his ankle from behind, and he fell to his knees in pain, and at the same time, one of the guards scolded him loudly.

'Kneel in front of Young Master Nicolas Fei!' The man's hands trembled, for a moment he forgot what he had experienced and thought about what he had heard. 'Nicolas Fei? The bum Young Master of the Fei Clan?'
