Students gathered inside the awakening hall.

As Li Yue entered, whispers immediately spread.

"I heard she cried yesterday."

A tall boy stepped forward.

Zhao Kai.

One of the academy's top students.

He smirked.

"Li Yue, still alive?"

Laughter erupted.

The old Li Yue would have lowered her head.

The new Li Yue merely smiled.

"Thanks for your concern."

The unexpected response surprised everyone.

Zhao Kai frowned.

"You seem confident."

"I am."

"Then show us your summon."

The teacher looked interested.

"Very well. Li Yue, summon your beast."

Li Yue nodded.

Mana surged through her body.

A silver summoning circle appeared.

The room suddenly darkened.

Moonlight flooded the hall.

The tiny fox stepped out.

Even the teacher's jaw dropped.
