Chapter 6 It's Originally Mine, How Is It Stealing?

Hayden rubbed his temples and let out a deep sigh.

Olivia had suggested keeping Isabella's identity a secret to avoid upsetting Bianca. Hayden didn't see any harm in it and agreed.

At first, Isabella seemed fine with the arrangement, but now, why had she changed her mind?

“Dream on,” Olivia said, her face tense. “Isabella, do you even know what it means to be a socialite? Just look at your makeup; you'd scare everyone at a party.”

Isabella rubbed her cheek. “That's just a minor issue. I still look good without makeup.”

Olivia took a deep breath. “You're so vain.”

“Isabella, you're my daughter too, but the Taylor Family only has one acknowledged daughter. If we reveal your identity, what about Bianca? She's already accustomed to her role and can't easily adapt to a new one.”

Bianca was already devastated to learn she wasn't their biological daughter. If we announced publicly that she wasn't Hayden's daughter, she wouldn't be able to handle the blow. She'd feel abandoned by the Taylor Family.

“Be good and don't compete with Bianca,” Olivia added.

Bianca immediately felt relieved.

It seemed Isabella was destined to be disappointed.

Gabriel couldn't hide his disgust as he looked at Isabella. “Can you even handle what you're asking for? All you do is take!”

Isabella lifted her eyes slightly. “It's mine to begin with, how is it taking?”

“You pretended to want me back, and now you want me to endure and compromise? How does that make sense? If you think you don't need me, then let me go back to the mountains. I'm not getting anything here anyway.”

Hayden frowned. How had Isabella suddenly become so spoiled?

“What do you want, Isabella?” he asked.

Although Isabella seemed unusual today, her words had some truth. She was a young girl and his biological daughter. If she came down from the mountains and got nothing, it was understandable she'd be upset.

Isabella thought for a moment, then licked her lips lightly. “I want Bianca's room.”

She pouted and complained, “My current room is too small; I really don't like it.”

Olivia immediately said, “No way!”

“There are so many rooms in this house, why do you insist on Bianca's?”

Isabella leaned against the doorframe, casually saying, “It's spacious, bright, I like it.”

“Ridiculous!” Gabriel was furious. “Of course, Bianca's room is spacious and bright, but why should it be yours?”

Isabella actually wanted Bianca's room. He wouldn't allow it!

Olivia looked at Isabella. “You can have any room except Bianca's.”

The Taylor Villa had no shortage of rooms. When Isabella first arrived, seeing Bianca cry so much made Olivia feel resentful towards Isabella. She deliberately arranged for Isabella to stay in a small room.

The main reason was that Isabella looked so obedient, as if she would unconditionally comply with anything said to her. She initially had no objections to the arrangement.

Since Isabella didn't bring it up, Olivia felt justified. She thought maybe the conditions in the mountains were worse than the small room.

But unexpectedly, Isabella had grown bold and set her sights on Bianca's room.

“No!” Isabella frowned deeply, insisting, “I want Bianca's room.”

“Isabella, are you serious? That's Bianca's room. Why should you take it?” Gabriel shouted angrily.

“What?” Isabella replied as if she heard a joke. “What do you mean it's Bianca's? Wasn't that room prepared for me?”

“Prepared for you?” Gabriel laughed angrily. “Who do you think you are? That room was decorated for Bianca.”

Isabella turned to Hayden. “Dad, when was that room decorated?”

Hayden couldn't remember clearly but said, “It was decorated when your mom was pregnant.”

The room's flooring and wall paint were clearly designed for a girl.

“So, it seems that while I was still in mom's belly, you prepared that room for me.” Isabella said indignantly. “So Bianca is occupying my room. She's taken my things!”

Hayden: “...”

Isabella had said more today than she had in the past month since arriving, but he couldn't refute any of her words.

When Olivia was pregnant, they prepared that room for the upcoming child, assuming it would be a girl. So they decorated it accordingly.

Now Isabella claimed the room was hers, and it wasn't unreasonable. The room was prepared for her before she was born, but she ended up being mistakenly taken to the mountains.

Isabella turned to Bianca. “I didn't mind lending you the room while I wasn't here. But now that I've returned, you should give it back!”

Her confident tone made Bianca feel like a thief.

Bianca's face changed.

How could Isabella say the room was lent to her?

She bit her lip, tears welling up, and said sadly, “Isabella is right. I'm not their biological daughter. Now that Isabella is back, I should return everything to her. I'm so sad… I don't belong to this family…”

Isabella glanced at her. “You're quite self-aware, thief.”

Bianca was stunned, her tearful eyes looking incredulously at Isabella, then she cried even harder.

She felt so wronged.

How could Isabella's words be so hurtful?

Seeing Bianca cry so heartbreakingly, Isabella's mouth curled slightly. “Bianca, the Taylor Family's daughter title or the room, you have to give up one. Since you insist on occupying my room, then… how about returning the Taylor Family's daughter title to me?”

Bianca froze, looking tearfully at Hayden, helplessly calling, “Dad!”

Hayden rubbed his temples. “Bianca, move out tomorrow and give the room to Isabella.”

Gabriel immediately exploded. “Dad! Why should Bianca give her room to Isabella?”

“What do you suggest?” Hayden glared at him. “Do you want my biological daughter to go back to the mountains?”

Isabella was firm now. She clearly wanted either the room or the title. If she didn't get it, she'd go back to the mountains.

He couldn't give her the title, but he could at least give her a room.
