Isabella shocked

The bonfire crackled in the center of the clearing, its glow casting shadows across the gathered wolves. Laughter and music drifted into the night, but Aria stood at the edge of the crowd, invisible. Omegas always were.

Isabella thought she was all Young Alpha Williams admired, but not until that night did she have the shock of her life, for her friend Norah arrived, Norah.

Isabella is looking from the window.

“Today is the day, a day to be officially pronounced Alpha Williams’s mate.” The smile on her face made her more beautiful. “Where has Norah been?” Isabella pondered. “It has taken her a long time to be here.” “Won't she be here? Does she have an appointment better than honoring my day?” Isabella withdrew from the window and sat silently on her bed. “I sense danger!” She opened up to her maid Clara.

“Danger on a day like this!” Clara strongly asked.

“Yes! Isabella nodded her head.

“Do you have an issue with the pregnancy?”

“No, I don't have an issue with it. My baby and I are doing fine; moreover, today Alpha Williams will get to find out the truth.” Isabella coldly answered.

“You haven't told him that you are pregnant?” Clara asked with a trace of surprise on her face.

“No!” Isabella answered. “I will unveil it to him today. I think that will make it more special.” Isabella sounded delighted.

“You have to feel relaxed; I am here with you.” Clara assured her.

Isabella's mood stirred joyfully. Tonight is supposed to be different.

“I can see a smile on your face; Alpha will romantically get to smile with you.”

“Yes, Clara. I can't wait to mate with Alpha Williams, becoming Luna as well.” Isabella expressed her heart deeply.

Suddenly the music stopped, Clara observed.

“ It is silent outside, what has happened.?” Clara paused as Isabella gave ears.

“I should be presented to Alpha by now; what is hindering the maid?” Isabella questioned, noticing a rising melodious sound.

“Let’s check.” Isabella looked from the window to her shock; Norah had just been replaced in her place.

“Alpha Williams has just announced Norah as his mate!” A maid ran to inform Isabella.

“Don't say that again!” Isabella pointed at her. “Let go!” Isabella, with curiosity, runs to the ground.

“Norah!”

“Are you surprised?” Norah boldly asked Isabella.

“What is the meaning of this, Alpha? Williams, I am supposed to be your mate, Luna as pronounced. What has led to this?” She paused in tears. “You have been cheating on me all this while, deceiving me and at the same time making a fool of me when you say you love me. Please tell me that this is a joke.” Isabella has yet to believe her eyes.

Alpha Williams smirks at her, his eye gazing on Isabella.

“Can you speak out, Alpha Williams?” Isabella shouted, with her hand on the alpha garment.

“Isabella, you are not fit to be my Luna. I can't mate a weak wolf like you.” Alpha has just broken Isabella's heart.

“Yes, there is no need to pronounce you Luna when you and I know that you do not have what it takes to be Luna.” Norah proudly spoke.

Alpha drew forward.

“You are a weak she-wolf; you can't face a challenge.” He mocked Isabella. Her hands hold on, alpha tightening. His words burned through her chest like fire, searing away every ounce of hope she had cherished. Weak? The same man who once whispered that she was his everything now cast her aside like dirt beneath his boots.

“Williams…” her voice cracked, trembling between rage and heartbreak, “you promised me. You swore before the moon goddess that I was yours!”

The oud awaits what could become of Isabella. Norah stood smugly by the Alpha’s side, her lips curling with satisfaction.

Alpha Williams’ jaw tightened, his cold gaze cutting through Isabella. Then, without warning, his palm struck her cheek with a brutal force that echoed across the clearing.

“Isn't that what you have promised me?” Isabella almost screamed at him.

Unknown to her, she had just stirred up alpha anger. “I am in tears for what you have just done to me.” Tears welled in Isabella's eyes, not just from the sting of his blow but from the shattering of her soul.

“You dare question me?” Williams growled, his voice deep with authority. “You should be grateful I even entertained you for this long. A wolf like you—weak, pitiful, undeserving—could never stand beside me as Luna.”

Alpha words pissed Isabella off more.

Her knees threatened to buckle, but Isabella forced herself to stand. The ache in her chest was sharper than the pain on her face. She looked at him, really looked, and realized the man she loved had never truly loved her back. “You have never truly loved me, but Norah.”

“You… you’ve betrayed me, Williams,” she whispered hoarsely, her vision blurring with tears. “And worse—you did that with my best friend.”

“Point of correction, Isabella, I wasn't in any way your best friend!” Norah interrupted.

“Yes, you are not; you have proven to me how dangerous and untrustworthy you are.” Isabella acted furiouslyon her rage.

“It really amazed you that she is my Luna.” Alpha Williams kissed Norah after saying this.

Isabella turned in tears, her eyes stormed at Clara.

“It is over between us.” The word from Alpha got into Isabella's heart so painfully.

“You will regret this.” Isabella pointed at Norah and Alpha.

She ran fast to lock herself up in the bedroom; unfortunately, the alpha guard stopped her.

“What is the meaning of this?” Isabella asked.

One among the alpha guard replied to her.

“You are no longer needed in this room.”

Isabella stared at him.

“What did you mean by that!” She was still asking when Alpha walked in.

“Yes, your days with me have expired; you are no longer wanted here.”

“Do not worsen the situation.” Isabella warned Alpha Williams.

“Get out of my sight.” Alpha pushed Isabella so that she rolled on the floor.

“Get

lost.” Alpha Heartless said without minding what has become of Isabella.
