Norah left the pack

A few weeks later, Isabella's pregnancy began to show up that one can easily notice.

“ I think I need to leave this pack before my pregnancy gets exposed.” She spoke freely, speaking in her mind. “ Clara has been taken by Norah, she forced Clara to be her maid.” Isabella is passing through pains.

“ I can't trust Clara anymore.” She muttered. “ Ah!” While trying to place her hand on the bed. Isabella heard words coming from the alpha bed room.

“Ohh yes… fck, fck me harder, daddy…” The costume assistant moaned as Norah kept his rhythm, her legs locked around his waist, and her nails digging into his back.He let out a deep, short grunt. The kind that came more from release than pleasure. As he came, he exhaled hard through his nose and leaned back. She lay there on the makeup table, with her hair a mess, her face flushed.“Uhmm, thanks, daddy,” she said with a satisfied grin.

“ You are a billionaire better than that bitch called Isabella, I regret meeting her in the first place.” Alpha adores Norah. “ You saved me from mating a weak mate, one worth nothing but an old harlot.” Alpha's speaking.

Isabella overheard everything. She tried to open the door but couldn’t. Her trembling hands fell back in defeat.

“He calls me names…” Isabella sobbed, her voice cracking.

Then she heard Norah moaning, louder and louder as Alpha Williams claimed her. Each sound cut through Isabella’s chest like a dagger.

“Rubbish…” Isabella uttered bitterly under her breath. “There’s no need to remain here. It’s better I leave than watch my heart break into pieces.”

She staggered into her room, only to find Clara searching for her.

“You scared me,” Isabella said, wiping her tears.

“We have to leave now,” Clara whispered urgently.

“Where are you taking me?” Isabella asked, her voice low and suspicious.

“Isabella, the pack is no longer safe for you… not even for me. Ever since I was forced to serve Norah, you’ve stopped trusting me. I can feel it.”

“There are millions of reasons why I shouldn’t trust you,” Isabella replied sharply. “For all I know, this could be Norah’s plan—you helping me escape, only to destroy me.”

“I swear, Isabella, I won’t hurt you,” Clara pleaded.

Isabella sat down, her heart heavy and her body aching with grief. Clara gently took her hand.

“Let’s leave. This is the only chance to save you—and your unborn child.”

“Swear with your life you won’t betray me,” Isabella demanded.

“Far from it,” Clara swore. “I can’t hurt you. I have a plan. We’ll go to my elder brother. He’s still a student, but he’ll shelter us until you give birth.”

Isabella shook her head, tears streaming. “I don’t trust your plan… but I will never forget Norah’s betrayal. I will make her pay.”

“Then come. Before the day breaks,” Clara urged, pulling her along.

They slipped out, moving slowly toward the gates.

“The guards aren’t concentrating,” Clara whispered.

But one guard had already noticed.

“Where do you think you’re going?” his voice thundered behind them.

Isabella froze. “He… he’s caught us,” she stammered.

“You dare plan an escape?” the guard growled, dragging Isabella back roughly. She was already treated like trash, and now even a guard mocked her.

“You’ll pay for this,” he spat, as more guards surrounded them. Rain poured, soaking their clothes and chilling their bones.

“Let us in,” Isabella begged.

“You’ll stay out here as long as it rains,” the guard sneered.

So they remained in the cold, crying, pleading—but no one cared.

By morning, Alpha Williams and Norah were informed of the attempted escape.

“Is this what you’ve become?” Alpha raged, raising his hand against Isabella.

“What am I still doing in your pack?” Isabella cried. “Watching you break my heart every day with your witch of a mate?”

“How dare you—!” Norah screamed and kicked Isabella in the belly.

“My ba—!” Isabella’s cry was muffled as Clara rushed to cover her mouth.

“Stupid fool,” Alpha spat. He ordered the guards, “Tie Clara and beat her. As for Isabella—leave her bleeding.”

“You will die here,” he declared coldly.

“No… please… save me!” Isabella sobbed, her blood staining the earth, but no one listened.

Clara screamed as the guards whipped her, binding her to a tree.

“Make sure she doesn’t survive this night!” Norah commanded, laughing cruelly.

Hours passed. The storm eased, but Isabella’s pain grew unbearable. Shivering, covered in blood, she tried to stand. Every step was a war, but her will pushed her forward.

“Let her go,” Alpha sneered at the guards. “If she thinks she can survive, let the world finish her.”

Isabella turned her head, tears in her eyes. “You both… will regret this.” Her body gave out, and she collapsed into the mud.

“Hahahahaha!” Alpha and Norah’s laughter echoed behind her as the darkness swallowed her whole.

But fate had other plans.

As Isabella lay broken near the edge of the border, a shadow moved through the night. A tall figure cloaked in black stepped from the trees. His eyes glowed silver beneath the moonlight—an outsider.

The stranger knelt beside her, his touch firm yet gentle.

“Stay with me,” he whispered, lifting her bleeding body into his arms. “You don’t belong to death tonight.”

Isabella’s lips trembled, her voice weak. “Who… are you?”

“A sojourner,” he answered. “From a pack far from here. And tonight, fate has asked me to save you.”

Isabella rested her head on his laps, so weak, the sojourner could do was to rush her to the hospital.
