Alexa grew up with so much fear at home, she couldn’t live like a normal young girl nor did most things her mates did. Mark didn’t sleep with her anymore but he still abused her, he uses curse words on her and touched her in inappropriate places which had always provoked me and made me challenged him.

I recalled one time he had stabbed my wrist with a knife when he caught me searching his room. And few days after my hands were well again, I continued the search with all hopes to find something worthy to bring him down. I stopped relying on him for my tuition fee, clothing and everything that was his responsibility towards me except shelter and the only reason I still lived with him was for the sake of Alexa. I feared leaving her all to herself because her mother would care less if the abuse continued.

If it was in my power, I would arrest them both or probably shot them if I had a gun. My reasons for looking in their room for evidence was because I wanted him to rot in jail when he was finally arrested and that would only be possible if a concrete evidence was presented. I always made sure to cheer her up and told her how beautiful and strong she was and I loved her very much, Nicholas also played the role of an elder brother to her and made her feel loved.

I was done with high school and according to the plans I had with my best friend Nicholas, we were supposed to leave home and the town to the city to fend for ourselves and eventually go to college. We had lots of business plans we mapped out to execute once we were no longer there but my major concern was leaving Alexa. We couldn’t go with her because we didn’t have enough money yet and had nowhere comfortable to stay, taking her along would only be more burden to us.

I managed to have everything under control for years and was able to stop Mark from sleeping with Alexa, I threatened him severally with the police each time he tries to do anything stupid. Gradually, Alexa was able to get back her self-pride and was able to feel among with her peers.

Alexa was sixteen by then and was becoming a grown woman, even though I took Alexa as my sister and was trying to protect her from my father Mark, I found myself wanting her.

She was so comfortable being around and with me that she wouldn’t even mind changing her clothes in front of me, I had scolded her severally about it but she never listened. I decided to take a nap one afternoon she had returned from school and wanted to freshen up, she decided to use my bathroom since she was used to being and sharing my space. I fell asleep while she was bathing but jerked back up due to the sound of the oldbathroom door as she stepped out of shower and made to come out.

Our eyes connected as soon as she walked out of the door, before then, I had never seen her practically naked save for when she was a kid. She usually walks around in my room in her sports bra and shorts and it never meant anything to me but now, here she stood in her full glory totally naked.
