“Diana Nora, your worthless husband is quite capable after all. How did you train him? Teach us.”
“Hahaha.”
Everyone was staring at the two of them as if they were watching a funny scene.
“What are you doing? Hurry up and leave.”
Diana Nora quickly reminded them that it might be impossible to stay in this place any longer.
“Don’t worry, this isn’t over yet. Miss Anna Hilda is a very popular and famous celebrity right now. The higher she climbs, the harder she’ll fall. If she does fall, we certainly can’t miss such a spectacle.”
A sly smile flashed across Wayne Sosie’s lips, but no one noticed it.
“This worthless husband sure knows how to talk, doesn’t he? Let him know that I, Anna Hilda, am about to sign a contract with the Confi Consortium. What kind of organization the Confi Consortium is, isn’t that obvious to everyone?”
“That’s right. A country bumpkin like him, who has never seen the world, doesn’t deserve to act all important here. It’s embarrassing. Diana Nora, you’d better take your husband and get out of here. Stop embarrassing yourself and ruining your reputation as the school beauty.”
“Hahaha, the school beauty? She really thinks she deserves that title? Did she just give it to herself? Hahaha.”
Everyone’s cruel laughter was extremely harsh. But what Diana Nora didn’t expect was that Anna Hilda raised the glass of red wine above her head and poured it right over Diana Nora’s head.
“Wow…”
This scene was simply incredible. Everyone couldn’t help but applaud. If such an amazing scene got out, it would cause a sensation throughout Carlisle. In that case, those “useless couple” would truly become famous.
Wayne Sosie remained calm. He simply took out his phone, made a call, and then carefully wiped the red wine stains off Diana Nora’s dress.
“Miss Anna Hilda, within five minutes, I’m afraid you’ll receive a call from the Confidd Consortium canceling the contract. Don’t cry when that happens, okay?”
Wayne Sosie said calmly, after all, it’s never too late for a gentleman to take revenge.
“Heh, what a joke. That’s completely nonsense. A worthless person like you probably has no idea what the Confidd Consortium does at all, right?”
“Well, we could make a bet. I think you’d really enjoy a game like this. After all, you’re not just some random visitor to this underground gambling den, are you?”
After wiping away the red wine stain from Diana Nora, Wayne Sosie kissed her on the forehead, without even turning his head.
However, Anna Hilda was still taken aback. Almost no one knew about her gambling habit. Wayne Sosie bringing this up suddenly simply scared Anna Hilda.
But Anna Hilda was, after all, someone from the entertainment industry. She quickly adjusted her mindset and said calmly, “If you want to bet, then go ahead. What am I supposed to be afraid of? So, what do we bet on?”
With such a great opportunity available now, it’s impossible for Anna Hilda to give it up so easily.
“It’s not about what I’m betting on, but what I want. If you lose, you’ll kneel down and apologize to Diana Nora. That’s all, it’s very simple.”
“Heh, if you lose, you’ll have to kneel on the ground and crawl around. Make dog noises, so everyone in Carlisle can see what kind of ‘talent’ you have. How about that?”
“Deal.”
Wayne Sosie didn’t even think for a moment before agreeing right away.
Anna Hilda didn’t expect Wayne Sosie to agree so quickly. But she didn’t think much about it. She was certain of winning 100%. Today, she absolutely had to humiliate Diana Nora and relieve the hatred in her heart.
The onlookers, of course, were just there to enjoy the spectacle, cheering and clapping along.
“Countdown begins!”
I wonder which little one it is who actually started counting down.
“What the hell are you doing? Are you crazy? Do you even know what you’re doing?”
Diana Nora said with frustration, not understanding why Wayne Sosie would do such a thing. It was simply asking for trouble.
“You’ll find out in a moment, my silly wife.”
Diana Nora couldn’t listen to what Wayne Sosie was saying. She found it completely unbelievable and simply an insult to her values and beliefs.
“Uuuu…”
The vibration of the phone sounded, and all the noise in the room ceased instantly. Everyone held their breath. Could it be that something exciting was about to happen?
Anna Hilda’s expression also suddenly became serious. Could this really be a coincidence? Although she thought it was impossible, she still felt nervous the moment the phone rang.
“I’m sorry, everyone, it’s just spam advertising.”
“Hi…”
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. It turned out to be just a misunderstanding after all.
“The five minutes will be up in a moment. Are you ready? How about practicing a little ahead of time? You’re definitely capable of doing well in this area.”
Anna Hilda couldn’t wait to see Diana Nora’s worthless husband crawling on the ground and barking like a dog. Just thinking about it made her extremely satisfied.

The phone on the table rang again, and everyone’s gaze was fixed on it.
“Whose phone is this?”
“Yeah, whose phone is this?”
Anna Hilda stepped forward with confidence and picked up her phone without hesitation. The possibility of what Wayne Sosie had said happening to her was zero.
“Hello…”
Ten seconds passed, and Anna Hilda hung up the phone.
“Why is it advertising again? It’s so annoying every day.”
Anna Hilda casually tossed her phone aside.
“Ah, there are only 10 seconds left.”
“10, 9, 8…”
Even though the countdown had already begun, Wayne Sosie stood there calmly, showing no signs of agitation at all.
“Dong dong dong…”
A knock on the door interrupted everyone.
“Please come in.”
Wayne Sosie’s voice was loud and powerful.
“Hello, Miss Hilda. I’m the diplomatic assistant at the Confidd Consortium. We’re very sorry about the cancellation of our cooperation. Our chairman has prepared a gift for you. Please accept it.”
After saying that, she opened the gift box. Inside was a very delicate little house. The only flaw was that it had no doors. The hint was far too obvious.
The entire house was dead silent; one could hear even the sound of a needle falling.
No one expected things to turn out this way. It really happened just as Diana Nora’s worthless husband had predicted.
Diana Nora stared at Wayne Sosie in disbelief, too stunned to speak. Wayne Sosie simply smiled faintly.
“Well, Miss Anna Hilda, it’s time for you to keep your promise now.”
Anna Hilda stood there frozen, as if all the life had been drained from her. This was like a thunderbolt that struck her right in the heart.
The atmosphere at the scene was extremely awkward.
“You signed a contract with the Conoco Consortium. It has nothing to do with her at all. You little fool.”
Wayne Sosie chose this moment to make things clear with Diana Nora. Although Diana Nora found it utterly unbelievable, it no longer mattered.
“Miss Hilda, please.”
Everyone’s gaze was fixed on Anna Hilda. Everyone was a witness to what happened. It was simply incredible.
