Chapter 1 Author's note/trigger Warning
Trigger Warning~
This story contains mature themes, graphic descriptions, and intense situations that may disturb or trigger some readers. Characters experience physical and mental harm, including but not limited to:
-Emotional manipulation.
- Threats of violence and harm.
- Physical and psychological distress.
Reader discretion is advised. If you are sensitive to these themes, please prioritise your well-being and consider whether this story suits you.
Notice for readers~
This story deviates from traditional Werewolf Omegaverse tropes and explores a unique world with its own hierarchy, rules, and dynamics. If you're accustomed to typical Omegaverse narratives, be prepared for differences in:
- World-building: The story's universe may not adhere to conventional structures or mythologies.
- Hierarchy and Social Dynamics: The pack dynamics, roles, and power structures may differ from what you're familiar with.
- Rules and Mechanics: The supernatural elements and rules governing the world may be distinct from traditional Omegaverse stories.
This narrative offers a fresh take on the genre, but it may not satisfy expectations rooted in traditional Omegaverse stories. Reader discretion and adaptability are advised.
Proceed with reading if you're open to exploring a unique interpretation of the Werewolf Omegaverse.

Lydrian Marsh Pack Hierarchy
Alpha: the pack’s king. He has the final say and makes the decision.
Elders: council of the wise. Four males and a female, who had exceeded the age of 50, fought countless battles and had already lost their wolves or were weak. They’re highly respected by the Alpha and all the pack’s members. They are responsible for advising and guiding the Alpha to peacefully coordinate the pack’s affairs.
Luna: the queen. Responsible for approving the marriage and performing its ritual. She chooses the wedding date, and seasons, and blesses the union.
Ultima: Descendant of a lost family. The holder’s wolf is the mightiest. Legend said they're more powerful than the Alpha, but the last one existed a thousand years ago. The title holder has the power to control all the wolves and the Alpha in the universe.
Hierus: the pack’s Priest. Responsible for consulting the moon goddess and speaking with the ancestor. He’s the only person who can lead the Alpha and Grandluna into the sacred room.
Grand Luna: mostly Alpha’s mother with a pure soul. Chosen by the former one and heavenly blessed by the moon goddess. Responsible for sacrifices to appease the moon goddess and ancestors. Hold the secret to meet with the moon goddess, but it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. She holds the ultimate power to summon the moon goddess and can choose her descendant.
Beta: second-in-command to the Alpha. Enforce the law during Alpha’s absence.
Gamma: the bookkeeper. Enforces pack rules and supports the Alpha.
Diadochos: the crown prince. Mostly the Alpha’s first son. They’re born with a secret mark on their body, signifying the ancestors are pleased with them and their reign will bring happiness and prosperity to the pack. Only the Alpha, Priest, and GrandLuna can see the mark with the use of their magic power.
Zeta: The war general. Takes direct orders from the Alpha in case of a war. Responsible for training and recruiting new warriors and also choosing the Pack’s Assassins.
Assassins: Spies for the Alpha, Beta, and Zeta. They swore their life and pledged their loyalty to them. Responsible for carrying out secret missions for the Alpha and killing any rogues waging war. They take orders from the Alpha and Beta through Zeta. Betraying the Alpha is treason, and the penalty is death.
Etas: the pack’s warrior. Follows the Zeta to the war. They are less concerned about Alpha’s orders; they collected orders directly from Zeta. 628 in total.
Deltas: the pack’s messengers. It could be either a male or a female. They risk their lives to deliver peaceful messages and war letters to other packs and are responsible for searching for the Allies during the war. For any crime they commit, they would be stripped of their position and become an Omega, while their family would be chased out of the pack to become Rogues.
Thetas: the pack healers. Husband and wife. They’re trained health physicians responsible for caring for the pack’s members, excluding Omegas.
Kappa: a male believed to be wise and strong enough to venture into the dangerous forests. He wanders around the universe in search of weapons for the warriors and scarce herbs for healers. Responsible for choosing his Lambda and deciding the gender he wants.
Lambda: a male and female. Venture around with the Kappa.
Sigma: scholars. Responsible for tutoring the royal children and other high-ranking children from the pack.
Phis: Females. The royal pup watchers.
Psis: non-ranked members of the pack.
Omegas: slaves. Maltreat. No one respects them, and anyone can hire them to work at home or on farms. They must respect other pack members regardless of their status and age.
