Introduction

When billionaire heiress Aerith Sena wakes after three years in a coma, everything has changed.

Friends have become enemies.

Family members want her inheritance.

Powerful forces are moving against her company.

Only one person remains by her side.

Her husband.

A man no one respects.

A man no one understands.

A man whose name alone can make the underworld tremble.

As secrets unfold, Aerith discovers that while she was sleeping, someone was fighting a war for her.

And he never lost a single battle.

Chapter 1

Deep beneath the Pacific Ocean, tens of thousands of feet below the surface.

There was no sunlight here, no day or night.

Only endless darkness.

And a top-secret prison hidden by nations around the world—the Deep Sea Prison.

It had another name.

"The Cage at the End of the World."

They said everyone locked up here had enough dangerous power to shake the world order.

And right now.

In the deepest part of the prison, inside a special cell, the air still carried traces of heat and intimacy.

Ethan Sterling slowly opened his eyes.

His chest was covered in sweat.

Around him lay several women who could drive the entire world crazy.

One controlled Europe's oldest financial empire.

One used to command the Federation's million-strong special forces.

Another possessed a legendary dragon bloodline.

The blonde woman slowly leaned against Ethan's chest, "Ethan..."

She had strangely beautiful golden eyes and an almost impossibly sexy figure.

Dragon Holy Maiden—Arielle Hall.

She gently traced the faint golden mark on Ethan's chest, "Your bloodline is starting to awaken."

Ethan looked down at his chest.

There, a faint holy mark was slightly warm.

"Your bloodline is getting more unstable," Arielle said softly.

Ethan looked down at his chest, frowning slightly.

This holy mark had only appeared in the past year.

And with it, his body kept changing.

Strength, speed, awareness...

All far beyond that of normal people.

Sometimes, he could even hear strange whispers.

"Archangel bloodline?"

Ethan still felt like this was all a dream.

Seven years ago.

He was just an ordinary college student.

His girlfriend Chloe Senna and the heir to a wealthy family, Jack Thomson, had framed him together. They pinned hit-and-run and intentional murder charges on him.

He should have been sent to a state prison.

But somehow he had ended up in the world's most dangerous deep-sea prison.

To this day, Ethan still didn't know why.

Just then, the red-haired woman Lillian Lewis suddenly laughed softly, "Actually, you should have figured it out by now, right?"

Ethan frowned. "What?"

The Federation's special forces queen Evelyn Ramirez slowly lit a cigarette, "Based on your crimes, you had no right to be here at all."

The air suddenly went quiet.

Ethan looked up.

"We're the ones who brought you here," Arielle said softly.

Ethan's pupils shrank. "What do you mean?"

Lillian gently swirled her wine glass, "Normal people can't get in here. What's locked up here... is way more dangerous than criminals."

Ethan stayed silent.

The truth was, he'd realized something was off years ago.

A normal prison couldn't possibly hold these monster-like women.

Arielle suddenly sat up, her back to Ethan.

The next second.

On her smooth back, a dark and sinister mark appeared.

Like a demon's claw.

At the same time.

Similar dark marks faintly appeared on the other women's bodies.

The room temperature instantly dropped.

There were even faint whispers in the air.

Ethan's expression changed sharply. "What is this?"

Arielle spoke in a low voice, "Satan's curse. Many years ago, we touched something we shouldn't have. Since then, demonic power has been eating away at our souls. It makes us lose control, go crazy, and eventually fall completely."

Evelyn slowly exhaled smoke, "To suppress the curse, we could only hide here. Because the Deep Sea Prison was built on dragon-blessed land. This place can suppress the demonic power inside us. But suppression doesn't mean purification."

Arielle looked back at the holy mark on Ethan's chest, "Until we found you. The dragon bloodline's sensing told me—you carry archangel blood. And archangel bloodline is the only power that can purify Satan's curse."

Ethan finally understood everything.

He hadn't been wrongly imprisoned in this deep-sea prison.

He had been brought here because they chose him.

Arielle slowly took out a crystal bottle with pale golden liquid flowing inside, "This is dragon holy water. Only a few drops left in the entire world. It can awaken the power in your bloodline, and you've absorbed my dragon blood essence—don't forget to merge with it. It will make you stronger."

She placed the bottle in Ethan's hand, "It's time for you to leave. The outside world is waiting for you."

Lillian smiled softly. She pulled out a black card from behind her.

The card was cold and heavy, with a pale gold six-winged emblem carved on the edges.

The entire card had no bank logo.

Not even a number.

"Seraphim Black Card. Only twelve in the whole world," Lillian said.

"It doesn't belong to any national banking system. The wealth inside is enough to buy a small country."

On the other side, Evelyn leaned against the wall and slowly lit a cigarette, "You've learned all my combat skills. Remember, the outside world is more dangerous than here."

She looked up at Ethan, "Don't die out there."

Ethan was silent for a moment, then slowly stood up, "Arielle, Evelyn, Lillian. Wait for me to come back. I'll lift the curse from you."

One hour later.

At the entrance to the Deep Sea Prison, disguised as an oil platform.

A black helicopter slowly landed in the center of the platform.

Two black-suited bodyguards quickly approached.

"Mr. Sterling. We're here on Ms. Chloe Senna's orders to take you to the church," one of them said.

Ethan's gaze turned cold. "Church?"

"Today is your wedding," the bodyguard replied.

The air went quiet for a moment.

Ethan suddenly laughed.

But there was no warmth in his smile.

Seven years ago.

Chloe had personally sent him to prison.

Now.

He had just gotten out.

And that woman wanted to marry him?

"Interesting," Ethan murmured.

He stepped onto the helicopter.

He wanted to see what game Chloe was playing.

The helicopter cut through the night, finally landing at a luxurious estate.

Ida Manor.

The territory of California's top elite family—the Senna family.

In the center of the estate, a towering church was brightly lit.

Meanwhile, inside the church.

Chloe stood in front of a wheelchair, a vicious smile on her lips.

The girl in the wheelchair wore a pure white wedding dress, eyes closed, like a sleeping angel.

Chloe bent down, smiling at Aria Rockefeller, "My dear sister. Today is your wedding day. The groom is a criminal fresh out of prison. Are you happy?"

The nanny beside them had already cried her eyes red.

"Ms. Senna! Ms. Rockefeller is your sister! How can you make her marry a criminal!"

Chloe's face turned cold. "Shut up! She's just a vegetable. Does she even deserve to stay with the Senna family?"

Just then.

The church doors slowly opened.

Ethan walked in.

And when his eyes fell on the girl in the wheelchair—

He suddenly froze.

Ethan thought, 'It's her?'

Before I could answer, he moved closer, suddenly looming over me, his face inches from mine. I felt my breath caught, my lips parting in surprise.

"Then this is the price for speaking ill of me to others," he murmured, nipping my lower lip before claiming my mouth in a real kiss. It began as punishment but quickly transformed into something else entirely as I responded, my initial rigidity melting into compliance, then active participation.

When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.

"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"

George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"

"I'm afraid that's impossible."

Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
