The next time I opened my eyes, a familiar ceiling greeted me. I was in my bedroom, although I didn’t remember how I got there. I turned my face to the left and found my mom, Spencer, and my brother, Levi, standing around me, their faces grim. They hadn’t realized I was awake yet.
