Chapter 4 The bargain

I was frightened as the door opened on it own, but the aroma didn't let me think,I followed it downstairs, the hall was bigger than that of my father, I smiled as I looked up at the rooftop it was beautiful and well painted, flowers everywhere even at the windows, I couldn't help but gaze at the hall.

“ I see you're all clean and nice for me to devour " the guy with the blue eyes appears like he was watching Everytime.

I looked at him but he calmly looked away, he looked at me like a finding something. He walked to me and drag my hair to his nose, smells me like I was food, I was so scared and weak to fight him,, I stood still, until he was done.

‘ I see you're big enough to take care of yourself princesses “

My eyes opened wide, he looked me like he understood " well the last man I devour told me something about you, as a bargain to not kill him, but little does he know, I don't walk with bargains until it's reasonable “ looking me straight in my eyes " I see you're hungry, this way “ he pointed

I followed him without fear or thinking. I saw a big table full of food, the table was long and full of seats. It had a big chair in front of it.

I sat down, where he pointed to me, my eyes shed tears,tears of hunger, I took a big bite on a lap of chicken, I ate like a hungry lion, messing up me face and dress,I looked up to see him sitting on the other side,his legs on top of the table, watching me with a smile.

I still didn't stop but I chew slowly and hid my face with the leg of turkey in my hand, he laughed so hard that the whole castle echoes,

" Oh my moon, you eat so lovely, odd for a princess, you made me remember how I ate your guards, as he screams and begged me not to devour him, granting his wish I ate him piece by piece” he smile so bold

I turned away from him and kept on eating, " huh you're not angry “ he asked in surprise.

I eat and eat untill I was filled, I picked a handkerchief by the side of the table,cleaned my mouth and dropped it down calmly facing him.

" How can my guards, as you say run away, leaving me in the middle of a forest to die, if you're not so stupid to see they actually brought me to the forest on propose “ I said calmly ‘ why did I say something like this,what if he gets angry and eats me now, gosh I didn't have the time to see this beautiful palace’ I kept a calm face as my heart regret my words, to my surprise he looked at me calmly and laughed so hard that he hits the table and the food on it kept bouncing at every hit.

“ What a stubborn princess I see. aren't you princess " his smile faded and the table vanished, immediately like it was never there,as he face turn into a wolf,

“ Well I think our chat time is over, I'll like to feast on you now" he bounced closed me as he turns to a wolf I close my eyes tights

“ Lets bargain “ I scream as I protect my face with both hands.

I waited for a sound to come, maybe anything.

No sound,nothing, I slowly looked up, he was standing there calm, his hand folded around his chest.

“ Let me serve you till I die" I said in a weak tone.

I begged for my life, tears ran down my face as I kneel down, my face covered on the floor.

“ I accept" he says, “ But only on one condition, he says.

I raised my head to look at him, he raised his hand and I felt a force pushing me to him. I tried to run but couldn't, I now stood face to face with him, so close that I can feel his heart beat.

He smiled and turned to my left neck, like he was sniffing on food, then his long tongue went through my face.

" I can't, “ I said, weak and clear.

He paused and released me.

" You can't do what ?” He says as he backs off, looking at me.

" I can't “ I covered my breast like I was naked.

His face didn't change, he kept looking at me confused, slowly his face shined, he burst out into a loud laughter, I was confused what did I say, why is he laughing, does he laugh when planning something evil .

He stopped laughing and the whole room began to shake, his face turn fierce, as he walked towards me it felt cold and strong, his powers were pushing me, I sensed something so strong.

My nose began to bleed, I was too scared to move,

He stood face to face with me, in a serious look on his face.

“ How old do you think I am "

He grabbed my neck, I moan in fear,

“ Do you know who I am? " he says in my ears.

The door opened and the whole place went back to normal, the chilling wind and tension vanished.

“ My lord, the elders are waiting for you.

I couldn't see who it was but, I felt the confusion in the person,

He calmly turned to him

" Titus, how many times do I tell you to knock “

“ Sorry, my lord, but rumors have been spreading about the human, in the realm" he say with his head down.

“ Very well " he let go of my neck,as I fall on the floor coughing so hard, turned to the Tinus, what did you tell them.

“ Nothing my lord"

He nod at him and walked to the door, he stopped in front of Tinus,

“ Take care of her” he looked at me from behind “ make sure she never leaves the room, she's a cursed royalty, her father trashed her to the forest, who knows maybe she's just as useless, or a bastard”

He say as he walks out of the door.

I lay down on the floor, anger going through my veins, my teeth tightens

How dare he call me useless, a royal bastards

Angry kept burning inside me like fire, my hair start growling my fingers gets longer,

“ That's a waste of time and energy Luna " Titus say in a calm tone as he grabs my arm, “ save it for something better, young Luna " he pulls me away.

“ Luna? “

I look at him, what's Luna I ask in my head.

Titus didn't even turn to answer, he held my wrist firm and walked me to the room.

“ What is Luna?" I asked in a soft faint voice” as Titus turned around, he look at me " You should ask King Andrew, he'll explain to you” he said in a manly paranoid tone.

“ And your cleaning starts tomorrow, salve “ he made the last word, very clear.

I sigh as I lay on my bed looking up at the beautiful painted roof.
