Chapter 14
Bernard Whittle naturally didn’t want to do it, so he kept trying to get free. Mo Huang then told the people nearby to let her go.
Bernard Whittle immediately ran out of the private room and back to his own, looking completely panicked.
After a while, I stopped thinking about it anymore.
In the KTV, the lights flickered. Under the illumination of the colorful lights, young men and women let their hormones run free.
Mo Huang stepped forward, took a microphone from the stand, then gave a nod to the man beside him. The man immediately understood and slowly walked over to the song selection console. He turned off the music and also shut off the colorful lights.
Only a single white incandescent light remained. Under its glow, several young men who had drunk a little too much suddenly turned around, their faces showing signs of confusion. An older man stepped forward and shouted at them sharply:
“What do you want? This is our private room. I’m asking you to leave.”
At that moment, the man tried to snatch the microphone from Mo Huang’s hands. But either because he was drunk or due to his weak physique, as soon as he got close to Mo Huang, he was knocked to the ground by a young man standing nearby.
“Kid, I advise you not to move. Do you understand?”
The young man merely pushed the man slightly. The man’s gaze turned fearful as he saw that there were many people on the other side. He stopped shouting immediately.
“Shut up all of you!”
Ear-splitting noises emanated from the speakers. Everyone turned their gaze toward the beautiful woman before them, their eyes filled with confusion.
Mo Huang also slowly walked over to Bernard Whittle, his face grim. “You little brat, the wound on my face was caused by your pushing. Shouldn’t you give me some explanation for that?”
Although Bernard Whittle was a little scared, he gritted his teeth and said, “It was you who fell over yourself. Why do you claim I pushed you? Are you trying to swindle me?”
Mo Huang frowned deeply, his gaze filled with coldness. He said in a harsh voice, “I warn you. I’m already being very polite to you. You’d better behave properly.”
At this moment, Bernard Whittle’s gaze held a hint of disdain. Coupled with the unpleasant tactics he had learned in the dormitory, he certainly wasn’t afraid of the person before him. Instead, he spoke in a scornful tone:
“Who do you think you are, bringing a few people with you? If you’re really that tough and capable, then go ahead and hit me. Try it if you dare.”
“Slap!” Mo Huang wasn’t known for his patience in the first place. Add to that Bernard Whittle’s arrogant expression, and it only fueled his anger. He simply slapped him across the face.
“I touched you. Do you have any objections?” It wasn’t until this moment that Bernard Whittle showed a hint of fear on his face.
Moreover, several people standing beside Bernard Whittle also got up one after another. After all, Bernard Whittle was their classmate, and a few of the boys even liked him quite a bit.
Just as they were about to get up, Mo Huang snapped, “This isn’t any of your business. You’d better get lost. If you really want to cause trouble, I’m not shy about playing with you.”
After hearing Mo Huang’s words, those who were present lost their earlier composure. Fear flashed in their eyes as they rushed towards the door.
They were just students after all. Who had ever seen such a scene before? It was obvious that Mo Huang wasn’t someone to be trifled with. It would be utterly unwise to provoke someone like him for Bernard Whittle’s sake.
Upon seeing this, Bernard Whittle was also terrified beyond measure. He wanted to run out as well, but Mo Huang blocked his way.
A few people managed to get out. Their eyes reflected extreme fear, and their bodies trembled nonstop.
“Chen Zihao, didn’t you say you knew some big-shot person? Please have him help Bernard Whittle,” said a girl with a pale face.
However, the boy named Chen Zihao seemed extremely hesitant at this moment. Although he often bragged in college that he knew this person or that person, in reality, he had only met them a few times. Asking someone to help him with certain tasks was something he doubted they would agree to do.
At that moment, Chen Zihao said with a gloomy expression, “Don’t you see that it was Bernard Whittle who caused all this trouble?”
“Bernard Whittle broke someone’s face. Do you really think that person would just let it go?”
“Besides, although I say I know two people, it’s not easy for me to invite them. I’m not very familiar with Bernard Whittle either. If you want to help, I certainly won’t stop you. If you don’t want to help, it has nothing to do with me. I’m going home now. You go ahead and take care of your own affairs.”
After saying that, Chen Zihao simply turned around and left. At the same time, the others exchanged glances, each pretending it had nothing to do with them. They headed towards the school. Some even complained that Bernard Whittle kept causing trouble everywhere. After all, they had paid for the entire night in that private room, yet they were kicked out after less than three hours.
They’ve suffered huge losses. If it weren’t for the fear that something might happen to Bernard Whittle, those people wouldn’t have even bothered asking Bernard Whittle for financial compensation.
However, in the private room, Mo Huang sat on the sofa, his brows tightly furrowed. He held his forehead with both hands, where there was a wound less than 3 cm long.
“I ask you, what kind of explanation do you have for this wound of mine?” Mo Huang said in a chilling tone.
At this moment, Bernard Whittle also looked fearful, his brows furrowed as he said, “At worst, I’ll cover your medical expenses. What else can I do? I can afford those costs.”
“Hmph! Thinking of compensating me for my medical expenses? How ridiculous. Do you really think I need that money? What are you even thinking? What if this wound leaves a scar? Do you want me to cut a few wounds on your face too, and then compensate you for those as well?” Mo Huang said, frowning tightly.
“What exactly do you want me to do?” Bernard Whittle said, trembling with fear.
“I won’t hit you or scold you. You’re just a child. Call your parents here, and I’ll talk to them.”
Mo Huang certainly didn’t need to treat Bernard Whittle, a kid who had just started college, as his equal.
“What if I don’t agree?” Bernard Whittle, seeing that the other person spoke in such a calm manner, thought there was nothing special about him at all. So, he spoke arrogantly.
However, upon hearing this, Mo Huang became utterly enraged. In the next moment, a series of crisp sounds echoed around them. A delicate palm print appeared on Bernard Whittle’s face.
“I told you to call your parents here. Do you hear me? I’m giving you one last chance.”
“I’m telling you, I see that you’re just a child. I don’t want to deal with you. But my patience has its limits. Don’t provoke me.” Mo Huang said with a dark expression.
It was at this moment that Bernard Whittlefield truly understood what fear was. He immediately called his parents. Upon receiving the call, Bernard Whittlefield’s parents were extremely panicked. They took a taxi to get there that very night. Fortunately, they didn’t live too far away. It took them about an hour to arrive by taxi.
