Chapter 3 | Divorce

"Jack. Prepare the plane ticket; I'll be back." I said firmly.

"Miss, you're finally back." I paused at the sound of Jack's happy voice.

I stroked my stomach again; seven years of marriage is coming to an end.

"You just prepare." I hung up the phone, my heart still hurting.

When I arrived at Eliza's house, I saw Damian and Eliza going out.

I ran straight to them.

"You fucking whore!" I shouted while grabbing Eliza's hair.

Eliza looked confused and tried to remove my hand from her hair.

"Caroline! Don't be impudent." Damian tried to protect Eliza and pulled my body.

"Don't be jealous! I went to Eliza's house as an apology. You're acting like a crazy woman," Damian snapped.

"Shut up, you bastard man!" I tried to attack Eliza again, but Damian didn't allow me to hurt her.

"Mrs. Sam, maybe you misunderstood me. I didn't mean to make you angry," Eliza looked scared and tried to persuade me.

"Because of you two, I lost my baby!" Caroline shouted.

"You have to pay for everything! You whore. Hypocrite!" I beat Eliza again and smashed her head against the windshield.

"Mercy, Mrs. Sam, I'm really guilty. Don't hurt me," Eliza kept pleading.

Damian was furious; he pulled Caroline's body so hard that Caroline fell down.

"Don't ever hurt Eliza again, Caroline!" snapped Damian.

"Does it hurt?" asked Damian as he gently stroked Eliza's head.

Eliza just nodded slowly.

"You better get in the car first so he doesn't hurt you again," said Damian.

Eliza complied and got into the car.

"Get out, you whore!" shouted Caroline.

I tried to get up, even though my whole body hurt.

"Don't make any more noise, Caroline! Especially to the point of insulting Eliza," Damian said.

"Who's insulting? She's your bitch, isn't she?" Damian, who heard that, immediately slapped Caroline on the cheek.

"How dare you degrade Eliza! She's a good and educated woman," he said angrily.

"Why are you defending her so much? Who is your real wife?" Caroline asked.

"You are my wife, but your behavior is disgusting! Cruel and almost murderous," Damian replied.

"You better go home!" Damian was about to get into the car, but Caroline stopped him.

"You should go home too!" Damian let go of Caroline's hand.

"I still have business with Eliza," Damian replied.

"No!" I insisted Damian go home.

"I have to take Eliza to the hospital! Especially since you were violent again," Damian snapped.

"I said go home!" shouted Caroline.

I tried to pull Damian's hand and opened the car door.

When the car door opened, I forced Eliza's hand to get out of my husband's car.

"Get out, you whore!" I shouted in anger.

But Damian pulled my body and pushed me hard.

I endured the pain, even though my feet and hands were bleeding.

"Don't ever hurt Eliza again!" snapped Damian.

Damian then got into the car.

"Get out! You have to pay for everything," Caroline yelled.

I sat limply, staring at Damian's car as it drove away.

Inside the car, Eliza smoothed her messy hair.

"Your wife is out of her mind, isn't she? Suddenly attacking me until my head is bleeding like this," Eliza said irritably.

"Does it really hurt? Want to go to the hospital?" Damian asked worriedly.

"No need, let's go straight to the villa," Eliza replied in a stern voice.

"Sorry honey, I didn't know Caroline was coming here either. I had her locked up in the warehouse," said Damian.

"I ask you to punish her later, avenge my pain." Damian nodded while gently stroking Eliza's head.

"Don't be angry; aren't we going to have fun?" Eliza smiled, at least Damian preferred her.

Eliza and Damian had been in love before Damian married Caroline.

At that time Eliza asked for a breakup and said she would work outside the city to Damian.

In fact, Eliza asked for a breakup because Damian didn't have a job.

"Don't go home; let's enjoy this night together," Eliza said in a spoiled tone.

"Alright dear, I'll obey you."

Damian didn't care if Caroline would get even angrier.

Damian thought Caroline was just a burden and a woman who couldn't do anything but cook.

And he was sure Caroline would never leave him.

"She can't possibly live without me, especially since she doesn't have anything," Damian said to himself.

Without Damian knowing, Caroline had already prepared everything.

"Goodbye, Damian! Don't ever regret it," she said as she stared at a document.

I deliberately didn't bring anything from this house.

Then I placed the document on the bed; it was none other than my and Damian's divorce papers.

"This marriage is over, Damian!" I said with a soft laugh.

It turns out that seven years of sacrifice were all in vain.

"I'll see how your life goes without me, Damian Sam!"

I sent a message to Damian to sign the divorce papers immediately.

I looked at the message that had been sent to Damian's number; it seemed like Damian had deliberately turned off his cell phone so that I wouldn't disturb them.

"You'll regret it!" My tears fall again; I touch my stomach.

"I wish you were still here," I said quietly.

After that, I called Jack to pick me up.

When I heard the sound of a car, I rushed out.

Before that, I threw my cell phone number card into the trash.

"This relationship is really over, Damian," Caroline said.

I stare at the house for a moment before getting into the car.

Jack smiled at me, probably too happy that I was coming back.

"You've finally come to your senses and come back too," he said.

"Yes. I was so stupid!" I replied regretfully.

"I'll make them pay for everything! My time, my energy, and all my sacrifices," I said to myself.

"Start the car." Jack then started the car.

Now that I was free, I would return to avenge them.

They must pay dearly for taking my baby's life.
