Chapter 5 CHAPTER 05

"To see how far along you are and how many pups your having!" Doctor William said. If I had not been sitting I would have fallen on the floor.

"Are you telling me I'm pregnant?" I asked him.

"Yes, Amelia your pregnant. I will see you tomorrow" Doctor William said as he go up and went out of the room. I sat there shocked.

"Come on, your father will be so happy to know he is going to be a grandfather." Mom said. I was could not believe it. I followed mom home not saying anything. Not only was I a disgrace to my family for being a rejected Luna now I was having a child on my own. When we got into the house I sat down on the couch trying to figure out what I was going to do. What was dad going to do. There was no way in hell I was telling Koda. He did not deserve to have anything to do with the pup or pups I was carrying. Everyone will surly talk now. I wanted to cry.

"Amelia, Amelia." Mom said.

"Sorry mom, I'm......I don't even know what I am. Numb, I don't know what to feel." I told her taking the mug of tea she was passing me.

"You should be excited and happy, your having your first pup." Mom said.

"Who's father threw me away because he got some other woman pregnant." I said sarcastically.

"Well that is his problem not yours. He does not deserve to be in the pup’s life ever after what he has done.

"How will it look to the pack mom?" I asked her.

"Exactly like it is, Koda not only threw away his true mate but also his pup." Mom said as dad came in the front door.

"I think I will be crashing that dinner tonight and taking a few strips of Koda Jr." Dad yelled.

"No dad. I don't want him to know. He does not deserve to know anything; he threw us away. So be it. People can say what they want." I told him.

"Amelia others will figure it out that it is his and tell him." Dad told me.

"Do you really think Koda will believe them. He will think I sent them. Just leave it be please. If you want me to move out I will ask Alpha if I can have a place close to the kitchen." I said to him. Why did it have to happen like this.

"You're not going anywhere, you and our grand pup can stay here as long as you like," mom said. Slapping dad I wanted to laugh but didn't.

"Yes of course we have lots of room. You will stay with us," dad said.

I knew he meant it. My parents had always been wonderful to me and my brother.

"I'm going to make a cup of herbal tea and go up and lay down for a while." I told them.

Monday morning I went to the kitchen early hoping to catch Marg alone. But Gwen was already there.

"Good morning Amelia, " Marg said as I put on my apron. I was going to start the dough for bread, but Gwen was doing it. Gwen gave me a toothy smile.

"Amelia, come have tea with me." Marg said taking me by the arm and practically dragging me to the dining room.

"What is going on Marg?" I asked, she just went and got us tea then pointed to a table far away from the kitchen. We went and sat down. I didn't touch my tea. I sat and waited for Marg to start talking.

"How are you feeling today?" She asked me.

"I'm fine why?" I asked her. Something was going on.

"I heard about the weekend, " Marg said looking at me.

"What about the weekend?" I asked her.

"Luna came and gave you the weekend off because of Koda. Also, you go sick because of the bacon cooking." Marg side.

"They need to check the walk in that meat was spoiled." I told her.

"The meat was fine Amelia, but I think you already know that." Marg said.

"Yah, I know, mom made me go see Doctor William when I got home." I told her.

"Ah, what did he have to say?" She asked. I could not help it I started to cry.

"I'm almost three months pregnant I had an ultrasound yesterday I'm having a girl." I told her. She looked confused.

"Honey you don't look three months pregnant, is the pup ok?" Marg asked putting her hand on mine.

"She is small but healthy, Doctor William said now that I'm home she will get bigger fast." I told her.

"No more stress, five small meals a day. We will get you on track." She said.

"Marg why is Gwen doing my job?" I asked her.

"Oh that you're Head cook beside me she is being punished for ruining Alpha's dinner. Paula is second cook now. You will start at lunch and leave after dinner is being served. I worked it all out with Luna last night." Marg said smiling.

"You already knew?" I asked her.

"Yes your mother called me, I'm glad she did. I already told Gwen to keep her mouth shut. She is going to be baking a lot of bread and pastries until she gets it right " Marg said.

"Oh my Goddess was the dinner that bad?" I asked horrified.

"Yes, you know your ex had the nerve to ask Alpha why you were not working in the kitchen. The servers said Koda talked none stop about you. It made his new mate very angry. Koda senior got mad at him and told him to shut up  " Marg laughed. I could not help but laugh too.

"On a serious note do you feel like cooking? Alpha has requested your strawberry chocolate crepes for breakfast; I told him there were no guarantees that you would be up to it. He does not know just Luna knows. When all the staff is in I will make an announcement that their will be no gossiping in the kitchen or our outside the kitchen. Anyone dare say anything Luna will surly have their heads on a platter." Marg told me.

"I can make Alpha his crepes do we have fresh strawberries?" I asked her.

"Yes, I'm just worried whether you will get sick making the bacon he wants." Marg said.

"Hopefully that has passed, let's go find out if he is up already I'm sure he is hungry." I said.

With in an hour I had all Alpha and Luna’s breakfast ready. The trolly was full of fruit sliced nicely fresh juice coffee and tea. A large plater of bacon with a large plater of crepes, whip cream warm chocolate Sause, a big bowl of fresh strawberries, cream and sugar, a jar of honey for Lunas tea. I had not got sick from the smell of the bacon thank goodness.
