Chapter 5 I hate him

Adrian has not said a word to me since we left the compound, he didn’t yell, he didn’t drag me out of the room, he didn’t even try to get me or threaten to call my father and it scared me, why didn't he call him?

I thought this will work, if I embarrass him in the eyes of everyone, he would never want me as a wife, he wants a traditional wife and he needs to understand that it can never be someone like me, this deal. This arrangement is meant to be doomed.

I tried calling my father and he didn’t pick, which was wired, papa always calls me, he didn’t see me off, he didn’t call me after I left, he didn’t call me today, something horrible is happening.

I called Sarah and she informed me papa has being busy with meetings, which I did understand but I hated it.

I needed to figure out what’s going on.

“Adrian”. I breathed out when he walked into my room.

“Let’s get going.” He stated, I was wearing my pajamas shorts and a tank top yet I didn’t care because I have a feeling he is taking me home.

I am sure he had time to think about it and he knows this is not worth it, I stared at him with a smile on my face and I followed him like a puppy.

Papa was right, if you what something, you always end up getting get.

“Is papa aware you are taking me home?.” I asked as he stared at me, he didn’t speak, I tried to roll down the window to have any idea of where we are headed and there was nothing and that scared me.

Adrian is not speaking, I have no idea where we are headed.

Has he had enough of me, did he want me dead, was he going to tell papa I got taken by the enemy so he will have his way with me.

“Stop the car.” I yelled and no one listened to me, my eyes were on his and now he had a smirk on his face. “Stop the fucking car.” I yelled again and he didn’t utter any word.

I trashed and yelled for ten minutes before the car came to halt, the moment it did, I ran out to find myself in front of a house. A building and it was surrounded by the forest.

“Come on.” He stated as my eyes were on his, he pulled me and he forced me into the room.

“You are going- I won’t kill you.” He said cutting me off as my eyes met his, he pulled us further into the room, my stomach filled with fear and my mind hazed with horrible thoughts as I tried to push back the tears that were threatening to fall.

We stood in a room, there were men all around it, and some that I have seem in the compound and during the meeting.

There is a ring in the middle of the room.

“You defy me when I tell you thing and you embarrass me, when you know you are not meant to.” Adrain spoke. He turned to look at me when he leaned in closer to me, in a moment, he wrapped his hand around me and he pulled me more closer to him.

“What are you doing?.”

“I know what you are doing? I expected it from you, you will do anything to make sure that I take you back to your father’s house, you are unlike any mafia princess, you are a fighter and that’s why I choose you, you fight, you don’t listen, and you do what you think is best, you need to do a lot more than embarrass me in the eyes of my guards for me to let you go.”

“I don’t want you.” I breathed out, and he smirked, when he walked in, his lips inched away from my ears and I could feel the heat of his lips on my ear.

“That’s too bad because I am never letting you go, you defy me and you will be punished, I will show you how I can punish you, you think I can’t do much because of your father.” He stated and he pulled away.

“What are we doing here.” I whispered so low I could barely get my own voice.

“The men you disrespected me in front, they are all here, two of them will be in that ring, they will fight and they will not stop.”

“What?.”

“Ever seen a person die princess.” He smiled as he stared at me. “They will not stop until some one drops dead, for every time you disrespect me or don’t listen to me, some one will die, you may not care for the person but how long before you have many death pilled in your name.” He asked

“You won’t do this.” I breathed out as my eyes met his, teas spilled out of my eyes when he leaned in and he used his fingertips to wipe the tears that fell against my cheek.

“Princess don’t cry, they make others pay, they make other cry and they make others suffer.” He smiled at me, he pulled me to the middle of the room, where I was so close to the ring.

“Can we get started gentlemen.” He yelled and they cheered. “We have Gavin, a father.” He said stressing on the word. “And we have Marco, who’s wife just got pregnant after so many years of trying, will he survive to be the father to be his kid, or not.”

“No please, you can’t- I didn’t ask you to speak princess.” He said cutting me off.

He is a monster, one that I never never came across before, how could he do this to me, it’s not their fault I did embrass him.

I wanted to stop him yet I was scared to.
