“Let me take one bite first, then I’ll go wipe myself off,” Smith said pitifully, with a pleading tone in his voice. He was too hungry to even have the energy to wipe himself.

“No!” Joseph’s attitude was firm and uncompromising. “It must be wiped clean completely. Otherwise, no food will be given.”
