Just as I feared, Leah took Jack straight to the Alpha King’s corporate tower.

The place loomed over them, a gleaming skyscraper of steel and glass that screamed power. Jack clung to Leah’s hand, his wide eyes taking everything in.

“Mommy,” he whispered, “is the Alpha King really in there?”
