Chapter 1
Karen giggled wildly as she and her best friend Nick stumbled into bed.
The sounds of the party going on behind them were muted... mostly because the vast majority of people had already left. Fortunately, given her drunken state, she didn't have to drive anywhere since the party was at her and her roommate's house... and it also meant that she could offer Nick a bed to sleep in and since he was even more trashed than she was that was definitely a blessing.
She hated to think that he'd try to drive and get himself hurt or into trouble... and it would be nice to have someone to sleep next to. Every once in awhile she just missed cuddling up to someone.
"Oh fuck, the light," she sighed, and she pushed herself up off the bed as Nick wormed to one side. Turning it off she stumbled back to the soft mattress and fell down.
"Mind if I take off my jeans?" slurred Nick.
Karen laughed. "Sure, as long as you're wearing something underneath them!" "Uuummmm... boxers!" Nick said gleefully. Karen laughed again.
She pulled off her bra from underneath her t-shirt, thankful that she'd already changed pants so that she didn't have to deal with any other clothing now that there was someone else in the room with her.
Lying down, she scooted close to Nick and curled up on his shoulder. "Oooo that's dangerous you know," he teased, just as he had been doing all night.
"Oh shut it," she replied, biting her best friend’s shoulder. They'd always been like this, close and teasing. Not quite like brother and sister, but just the best of friends and close in a way that made anyone they dated
very jealous.
"No really," he said, his body tilting ever so slightly towards hers, a new kind of heat in his voice that she hadn't ever heard there before,
"Dangerous…” As she turned her head to try to see the expression on his face from the dim light that was sneaking in past her curtains, Nick leaned forward and kissed her.
Karen was rather in shock, and her lips parted automatically for him to deepen the kiss, even though her mind was saying 'What on earth?'... her body responded automatically.
She kissed him back, the alcohol fizzing through her veins as she felt a sensation of tingling excitement between her thighs.
He pulled away from her lips and began kissing down her neck. Sanity restored itself.
"This is a bad idea," she said, and then gasped as his fingers stroked down the side of her body while he sucked lightly on her neck. "Best idea I’ve had all night, but I’ll stop if you tell me to." His hand kept stroking the side of her body, palm barely brushing against her breast.
Suddenly she wished that he would touch her harder, more. Maybe it was just the alcohol speaking… but it felt good. They were both single. But this could change their relationship forever. “I didn’t say I wanted you to stop,” she said slowly, trying to sort through her thoughts.
His hand slid up her side to her breast, cupping the soft flesh through her t-shirt and she stifled a moan. Sanity was beginning to get fuzzy. "We’re just friends…” “Do we have to be?” his voice sounded rather wistful, but the firm stroke of his thumb against her nipple wasn’t hesitant at all.
“We could try this.” His face nuzzled back into her neck. “Seems like a fantastic idea to me.” Karen moaned again as his thumb rubbed against her nipple, his body pressing against the side of hers. She could feel his hardness pressing against the outside of her thigh.
Although she knew she should say something, should protest before they ruined their friendship, it felt so good. Part of her wanted it, very badly in fact. Another part of her was terrified that she would lose everything if they did this.“Tell me to stop and I will.”
Nick propped himself up on his elbow, voice serious. Karen looked up at him in the moonlight, barely able to see his serious expression. She realized that she wanted to reach up and pull him down on top of her.
Without realizing it, her lips parted, as if readying themselves for a kiss. He saw her reaction and his free hand fisted under his chin, thumb pressing against those soft lips.
“I want you Karen. I want your beautiful body and your sweet smile, I want you to feel me inside of you. I want to fill you with myself. I don’t want to ever see you with another man again. But tell me you don’t want it and we’ll fall asleep and pretend this never happened.”
Her eyes were wide, frightened in the moonlight. As Nick spoke, her body hummed with need and she realized that those things were true for her as well. She was just too scared to say yes. Then his head started to lower, lips aiming for hers. He murmured, "If you want me to stop, just tell me to." She couldn’t make herself say yes, but she didn’t want to say no, so she just lifted up her mouth for the kiss.
As her soft lips parted beneath his, Nick felt a surge of triumph course through his body. It had taken him awhile, but about three months ago h realized that he’d fallen in love with
his best friend.
But she’d been dating someone else then. They didn’t last long, just like no one he or Karen dated ever lasted. It wasn’t until tonight, with the booze and her suggesting that he sleep over, that he finally found
his courage.
He knew that she was the one for him and now he just had to convince her of the same thing. His hand slid down her body as they kissed, lips pressed together, tongues deep in each other’s mouths. Karen moaned low in her throat and undulated with desire, back arching and pressing her breasts upwards.
Taking the bottom edge of her shirt, he tugged it up and over her head, reluctantly releasing her lips to pull the shirt off of her, although this gave him the freedom to lower his mouth to her hard, pink nipples.
He rolled on top of her, her thighs automatically spreading so that he could settle between them, hands and mouth on her breast. The sensations seemed to go straight to her groin, and she moaned, her hands on his head. She was still scared, but that emotion was rapidly being overcome by desire and the thought that maybe everything would be okay.
If she really trusted Nick then she had to believe what he said about the depth of his feelings for her.
As they moved against each other the alcohol buzzed through her and she wasn't even aware of them taking off each other's clothes until they were completely naked and he'd moved his body down to begin licking her
slit.
Gasping, she clutched at the sheets as his tongue danced in her folds, one hard finger sliding into her body and pressing gently against her g-spot.
"Oh god," she moaned, she'd heard Nick's reputation for being amazing in bed, but for some reason she'd never really thought about him like that at all. Maybe because she hadn’t wanted to. Maybe because she'd been jealous when his dates would brag to her about it.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.
The Hunted Human Mate
The Contract Wife: Marriage Of Malice
He didn't finish. He didn't need to.

Instead, my fingers curled into his shirt, clutching the fabric as though it was my only anchor. Something in him snapped—something he had been holding back for too long. His mouth found mine in a kiss that wasn't tender, but hungry, desperate.
I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.

The Alpha's Stripper Mate
"What?" It was out of my mouth before I could stop it. I did not wait for him to answer me, I walked toward him.
"Dance on my lap."
My head screamed at me to turn around and run. But my whole body responded to his command.
"Yes, Alpha," I pulled my dress over my body, it dropped over my head and fell to the ground behind me. I was left in nothing but my matching bra and thong. My hands covered my chest on reflex.
"Let me see."
My hands dropped to my sides.
I lowered myself into his lap, facing him. His eyes peered into mine, and I could feel his hot breath fan my face. His dick responded to all my moves, hardening against my now-moist vagina. I swallowed hard, allowing my lips to part in a ragged breath. His hands trailed up to my waist.
"No touching."
