CENDREA MAXIMILLIAN POV
I have to report to the king about the news that I heard from a certain wolf pack in Southeast lands.
"My king...?" I mumbled. He is talking to someone.
"Your majesty, I have already send the flowers to your woman. Ms. Cendrea is still clueless that you have someone you really love. What if she learns about it and put a curse to your woman."
"She won't learn unless you tell her the truth. I only marry her to be able to establish this kingdom. You knew from the start how the four clans survive over the past centuries. A powerful witch like her protects our kingdom from the past feuds that happens. More than anything else, she is just a tool."
Tears fall down to my cheeks and step backwards and runaway. For over 50 years, I tried to live in a secluded mountains. But he find me just to establish this kingdom and protect it from all those wars?! I can't believe that I let myself be fooled by a man like him! That man!
"Cendrea?" he said as he opens the door. I just smile as if nothing happens. But you will learn your lesson after my daughter sees the world. I smiled.
"Is there anything that you wanted, my king?"
"I heard that a faction of wolves on the Southeast is raging towards the kingdom." he said.
"Don't worry, the kingdom is protected against the other clans who will come here just to harm us."
"Thank you. You are the greatest gift I have."
"Really?" I mumbled. I just hug him even I can sense that he is a snake. I won't let you do what you pleases using my powers, Daniel.
I ask Clara in my room. She came in and bow to me.
"Clara, I need your help." I told to my subordinate who sealed her power while she's working as the royal chef in this palace.
"Yes, my queen? Is there anything that I needed to do for you?" she ask. I gave her this box.
"What is this, your royal highness?"
"It's my heirloom for my daughter. That will serve as her weapon for learning." I said. She nodded.
"Don't worry, I will keep this as much as I could."
"Don't let the king know about that. And remember this as well. My daughter will surely suffered because of her own father. Give that box on the day of her death and be reborn. An alpha will come and save her on the same night and help them escape from the capital. The seal of your power will be lifted on that time. Clara, give her the love that I can't give on her darkest days, promise me that..."
"I don't understand what you are trying to say, my queen but I will do all the things that you said. I promise that I will love her like my own. That I will be there for her and never forsake her."
"I'm happy to hear that Clara." I said and hug her. I already knew that I am no longer by her side. Time passes, I gave birth to a girl. I kiss her cheeks and leave an important heirloom to her.
"She's as beautiful as you, my queen." he said. He is acting happy, I just smile and look at them.
"Thank you, I'm sorry if she didn't have your features." I said. And I'm glad with that.
"It's okay, at least she looks exactly like you."
"Visit us again tonight, okay? I have something to talk about you and us." I said. He nodded.
"I will my queen after I roam around the capital."
I fake my smile. Tonight, I will kill that king and let him pay for what he did to me. The night falls, I waited for him and the door opens.
"Cendrea, where is our daughter?"
"She is with Clara, I ask her to nurse her for a while. I really wanted to talk to you privately.'
"I see. Is there any problem?"
"Yes. Tell me Daniel, up to when are you going to fooled me? Have you ever thought of even loving me? Am I just a tool with your obsession?"
"What are you talking about, Cendrea?"
"Don't lie to me again, Daniel! You really think I will be blind for the rest of your life?" I said.
"Just tell me the problem and why are you acting like this? Have you gone mad?"
"Die." I said and the color of eyes changes. But nothing happens to him. And there I saw a necklace around his neck. I smiled bitterly. That necklace will reflect my own actions. I suddenly vomits with blood. His eyes shows to me how he hated my existence itself. I smiled bitterly.
"I knew that things might turn like this, I don't need you anymore, damn witch." he said and even smirk.
"Your kingship will be destroyed because of me, and you will never have a male heir. You better not have the idea of hurting my daughter."
"Just die already!"
"The day that you tried to hurt my daughter or any person who holds your bloodline, doom will fall to your kingdom. From that day onwards, just like the name of this kingdom, bloodsheds will fall..."
I'm sorry, my daughter... this mother of yours can't be with you any longer...but I'll always love you. I hope that life won't bitter to you. I fell down the tower of our room as the white roses turns to red. I saw his wicked face before everything went black.
