Betrayed while Pregnant:I Dumped the Scum and Won
Lacey · Completed · 203.5k Words
Introduction
When the fake heiress, Chloe Mellon, slapped the pregnancy test onto my face, I finally saw the truth.
For ten years, she stole my identity, my family, and now—my husband.
They called me heartless when I refused to play the victim.
They called me cruel when I exposed their affair.
But as I walked out of that mansion, leaving the cheating CEO and his mistress behind,
I realized something:
The only thing I lost was the illusion of love.
The rest? I'll take it all back—starting with my birthright.
Goodbye, Tristan Getty. Enjoy your toxic love triangle. The real heiress is done playing.
Chapter 1
"Congratulations, ma'am. You're pregnant."
The test results were handed to Scarlett Mellon, showing six weeks pregnant.
Joy began spreading from the bottom of her heart like a tide, but Scarlett's smile had barely formed when she noticed the patient name on the form wasn't hers.
And it was a familiar name—Chloe Mellon.
"I think you gave me the wrong one?"
"Sorry!" The doctor finally realized, fumbling to hand over another report. "This one's yours."
Before Scarlett could look at it, the examination room door burst open.
"Scarlett, what are you doing here?"
Chloe's voice was sickeningly sweet, melodious like singing, carrying the unique arrogance of a rich girl. "That report is mine, right?"
Sharp-eyed, she immediately snatched the paper away.
"Scarlett, do you know whose baby I'm carrying?"
She proudly placed her hand on her belly, looking down at Scarlett with a triumphant smile.
The sickly sweet perfume made Scarlett nauseous. She ignored Chloe and lowered her head to fold up her own report.
"Don't know?"
Chloe raised her chin, her gaze sweeping over Scarlett with contempt.
"Let me tell you—it's your husband's."
"You've been married to him for three years and couldn't get pregnant. It only took me once, and I'm pregnant. The baby in my belly is definitely going to be the Getty Family heir."
Scarlett's heart clenched painfully, as if someone had squeezed it hard. Her vision went black for a few seconds.
Even though she'd had a feeling, hearing it out loud made it impossible to accept.
"Congratulations."
She quickly composed herself and said coolly, "The Mellon Family's fake daughter becoming a mistress—you think that baby will be the heir? He'll only be ashamed of you. To Tristan, you're just cheap."
Chloe's face darkened. "You're the one who's about to be kicked out!"
"I'm telling Tristan this good news right now! He'll propose to me tonight, just wait!"
Scarlett ignored her and turned to leave.
She casually stuffed the report into her bag, not letting anyone see what it said.
Twelve weeks pregnant.
Three years of marriage and she'd never gotten pregnant with Tristan Getty's child. Plus her periods were always irregular, so when she felt nauseous recently and missed her period, pregnancy never crossed her mind.
But now it just felt like a cruel joke.
Finding out she was pregnant at the same time as learning the baby in her belly no longer had a father.
She and Tristan had grown up together. She'd been with him from when he was an abandoned illegitimate son all the way to establishing himself at the Getty Group. Even though their bond was deeper than most people could imagine, and her love for him ran deep.
She still couldn't accept him cheating during her pregnancy.
Her phone suddenly rang. It was Tristan.
Scarlett didn't answer. She tossed the phone back in her pocket, then pulled her coat tight and walked out of the hospital. Standing by a trash can on the street, she tore the report into tiny pieces and threw them in, bit by bit.
She finally answered when the phone rang for the fourth time.
"Honey, are you not feeling well?" He immediately guessed why she hadn't answered. "I'll skip the meeting and come be with you."
"No need, I'm fine. It was just too noisy on the street, I didn't hear it ring." Scarlett said calmly.
The concern in his voice sounded so real, so full of love, just like all those years before. Even though he was cheating.
And the other woman just happened to be the Mellon Family's fake daughter who loved to antagonize her.
Tears slipped from the corners of Scarlett's eyes, immediately blown away by the autumn wind. Her voice betrayed no emotion. "What time will you be home after your meeting? I'd like you to make me noodles tonight."
On the other end, Tristan hesitated, which was unusual. "Honey, tonight's reception is really important. If you hadn't been feeling so sick lately, I would've had you come with me."
Scarlett was silent for a few seconds. "I want to go too, but Tristan, I really need you to come home."
She rarely made such direct, strong requests. In the past, he wouldn't have hesitated for even a second—he would've come to her immediately.
Tristan's voice softened even more. "Honey, I'm really sorry. I'll come back as fast as I can after I'm done, okay? It might be late at night though. I'll make it up to you, spend the weekend with you, buy you a bag—"
He went on and on, but no matter how soft his tone, the message was the same. He was too busy today. He had no time for her.
"So you really are going to propose tonight." Scarlett's heart died completely. She laughed through her tears.
"Huh?" The wind picked up just then, and Tristan didn't catch it. "What?"
"Nothing. You go ahead and work. I'm a bit tired." Scarlett walked up to the black Maybach waiting on the street. "I'm hanging up."
Tristan said many more comforting words, but she didn't respond. She pressed the end call button.
"Scarlett, are you okay?" The driver, Rose, was a retired female soldier, agile and capable. On the surface, Tristan had arranged for her, but she was actually Scarlett's confidant.
"I'm pregnant. Chloe's pregnant too. Both babies are Tristan's." Scarlett got in the back seat and said wearily, "Let's go home."
She turned her head toward the car window. The glass reflected a stunningly beautiful face, but one filled with despair.
Rose drove smoothly, but her mouth was full of curses.
"I used to think no matter what, Mr. Getty would never cheat! He loved you so much! That time you were angry, he stood in the rain all night. When you were kidnapped, he nearly turned the whole city upside down and beat those kidnappers until every bone in their bodies was broken!"
Scarlett's lips curved slightly, but her eyes were ice cold. He had done many romantic, devoted things, but that was all in the past.
"Oh, Scarlett."
Rose became serious. "Remember how I told you I'd seen him and Chloe together several times, acting way too close? You said it must be a misunderstanding. See, I knew there was something wrong!"
"Chloe deliberately seduced him just to mess with you! Scarlett, why don't we tell his father and just get rid of both that scumbag and that homewrecker!"
Scarlett had been silent the whole time, but now she finally laughed. "No need."
"Rose, help me arrange an accident."
"I'm three months pregnant. At the latest, I'll start showing at five months. Before I start showing, make Tristan think I'm dead."
Even though she'd made the decision in less than five minutes, Scarlett's tone was absolutely firm.
She let out a soft breath, her beautiful eyes cold as ice.
"When we got married, I said we'd never divorce—only become widowed. Now, let him be the widower."

I hope ordinary Clara, ordinary Adrian, and all of us ordinary people can find the happiness we deserve.
Invincible Upon Release: The Strongest Mage
Her family looked down on him, and even she herself said coldly: “You’re not worthy of being my husband.”
Everyone thought this newly released good-for-nothing was just a poor fool who’d taken the fall for his brother.
Thorne said nothing.
He merely raised his hand, gently pressing his bride’s forehead.
In an instant, the chaos in her eyes faded. Holy light surged from beneath the church, shooting into the sky.
The world’s only candidate for the Saintess, blessed with holy power, slowly opened her clear eyes before him.

I’m not going to let one cold stare undo that.

"You're staring again," he whispered, his back hitting the wall.
"You're still here," I replied calmly, stepping close enough to feel his erratic pulse.

But when that same stranger's doctor appeared at my door, when twenty million dollars exchanged hands over a fake perfume bearing my secret identity, and when Damon's gray eyes locked onto mine with recognition I couldn't afford, I realized my carefully hidden life as the legendary perfumer Vera was colliding with a pregnancy that could cost me everything.
Could I protect my babies from the husband plotting my death, hide my true identity from the Alpha who's been hunting me for years, and reclaim the freedom I'd buried along with my dreams—even if it means standing alone against the wolves who see me as nothing more than a womb to be used and discarded?

After One Night with the Alpha
I thought I was waiting for love. Instead, I got fucked by a beast.
My world was supposed to bloom at the Moonshade Bay Full Moon Festival—champagne buzzing in my veins, a hotel room booked for Jason and me to finally cross that line after two years. I’d slipped into lacy lingerie, left the door unlocked, and lay on the bed, heart pounding with nervous excitement.
But the man who climbed into my bed wasn’t Jason.
In the pitch-black room, drowned in a heady, spicy scent that made my head spin, I felt hands—urgent, scorching—searing my skin. His thick, pulsing cock pressed against my dripping cunt, and before I could gasp, he thrust hard, tearing through my innocence with ruthless force. Pain burned, my walls clenching as I clawed at his iron shoulders, stifling sobs. Wet, slick sounds echoed with every brutal stroke, his body unrelenting until he shuddered, spilling hot and deep inside me.
"That was amazing, Jason," I managed to say.
"Who the fuck is Jason?"
My blood turned to ice. Light slashed across his face—Brad Rayne, Alpha of Moonshade Pack, a werewolf, not my boyfriend. Horror choked me as I realized what I’d done.
I ran away for my life!
But weeks later, I woke up pregnant with his heir!
They say my heterochromatic eyes mark me as a rare true mate. But I’m no wolf. I’m just Elle, a nobody from the human district, now trapped in Brad's world.
Brad’s cold gaze pins me: “You carry my blood. You’re mine.”
There is no other choice for me but to chose this cage. My body also betrays me, craving the beast who ruined me.
