Reading the last message from Dev, Aleyna smiled; two years of a long-distance relationship is a big thing but they managed to capture their love well; passing by the wedding ring stores; she peaked at one of them.

She sighed; the ring probably costs more than 5 months of her salary; even if she saves money she would not be able to buy the sparkling beauty; leaving with a heavy heart she turned around only to see a certain someone's reflection in the mirror adjacent to the shop in front of her.

Any girl would have the biggest smile on her face; Aleyna had one too but her smile dropped when a girl whose face she could not see hugged the man who claimed to be hers; he slides the ring on her fingers as they kept hugging each other.
Not wanting to believe the shit Aleyna just saw; she took a few steps back only to have collided with a good-looking young man who held her by her shoulders to stop her from falling on her ass.
" I am so sorry, Ms. are you okay? " He said as he looked at her; she had unshed tears in her eyes; her red nose made it clear how much she wanted to cry her eyes out at that moment.
Aleyna came back to her senses only when she heard the voice; She looked into the reflection of the happy couple once again before she took a deep breath to calm herself down.
tears are a sign of weakness for Aleyna and she does not want to show her weakness in front of anyone, not especially a total stranger.
" I... I am fine, " saying the words with great difficulty she moved out of the mall; walking into the parking lot; Aleyna felt her knees too weak to hold the weight of her body; She somehow managed to open the door of her car before she pulled out her phone from her pocket with her trembling hands.

" Wait there, I will be there in five, I am around there only, " Her friend said as the call ended; 10 minutes later she was pulled into a bear warm hug as she finally let the tears flow down her eyes.
it felt like the dam of her tears broke the second she felt the secureness.

The sound of her sobs is the most painful thing I have ever experienced before; I rubbed her back as her tears wet my new shirt; I do not even know what to say to her.

She was looking out of the window; not even once she glanced in my direction but I did see the tears that she tried to wipe without being noticed.

Stopping the car in front of our house; She walked ahead but Instead of Aunt Vina, Nihalika opened the door.
" Aley, What happened? " Nihalika asked her before she pulled them both in the house; I just keep looking at the duo who is busy crying; I did not try to hear them nor I went near them.
I can not see my best friend crying; Nihalika walked out of her room; closing the door behind her, I handed her a mug of coffee as I waited for her to speak.
" She saw her boyfriend proposing to someone else, " Nihalika said to me as I took a sip of my black coffee; the bitter taste along with hot liquid slid down my throat as I closed my eyes; this is the reason I never dated anyone in 28 years of my existence.
" He did that in front of her? " I asked as I tried to control my anger.
" No, She saw their reflection and heard it all, " She replied as She unlocked her phone; I am not going to let that bastard break her heart while she cries her eyes out for him.
" turn off her phone, do not let her go anywhere it is the weekend and she needs rest, " I said as She looked conflicted.
" What if she misunderstood it? " She said as I chuckled.
" Aleyna is not a kid, If she is this heartbroken then that must be something right? We are going to the club tomorrow as She needs to be introduced to some new guys, " I said as I got to keep my mug in the kitchen sink.
