Introduction
But this green tea bitch constantly tried to get into her husband's bed and even set her up to be the target of public criticism, which was a bit too much.
Brooklyn Mitchell was unlucky to have married an idiot.
He actually believed that she had cheated on him the day after their wedding.
Goodbye means goodbye, the next one will be better.
Brooklyn Mitchell decisively stepped back, divorced gracefully, and enjoyed her single life even more.
Unfortunately, her ex-husband was going too far, why did he keep coming back to her after the divorce?
"Woman, you won. Without you, I will die."
She waved the divorce certificate in her hand, "Celebrating the death of an ex-husband is definitely worth a celebration."

Chapter 1
The sound of high heels clicking on the floor echoed through the hallway, catching the attention of many patients, especially the men, whose eyes widened at the sight of the striking figure.
"Morning, Dr. Mitchell." Doctors and nurses greeted Brooklyn Mitchell as she walked by.
"Morning, everyone," Brooklyn replied coolly. She headed to the locker room, changed into her white coat, and then walked out, making her way to her office.
Inside her office, a group of doctors and nurses were gathered around a table, seemingly discussing something.
"This is her seventh published article, right?"
"Dr. Mitchell is amazing. Seven articles in a year—she's a medical genius."
"Yeah, those seasoned medical experts only manage to publish two or three a year."
"I heard Mr. Clark hired her with a high salary. People all over Aucester have to queue up to see her."
Brooklyn walked near her workstation and heard the surrounding people discussing her. A faint smile curved her lips. When it came to her achievements in medicine, she had every reason to be proud.
The doctors and nurses around hadn't noticed Brooklyn's arrival and continued discussing the content in the magazine. However, the conversation began to take an odd turn.
"Oh my God, they're so close! They even had lobster on a yacht this month!"
A nurse exclaimed excitedly, catching Brooklyn's attention. She looked over in surprise, realizing that this matter seemed to have nothing to do with her medical journal.
The nurse was holding a gossip magazine, the cover featuring a photo of a man and a woman. Brooklyn's brow furrowed, and a chill emanated from her.
"Mr. Kingsley is so handsome, and Ms. Turner is just stunning."
"A good-looking man and a beautiful woman—they're a perfect match."
"I remember Ms. Turner saying on a show that she wanted to have lobster on the sea. Mr. Kingsley actually took her! He's so devoted. Why can't I find a man like that?"
"But I recall rumors from a few years ago that Mr. Kingsley was already married, and his wife wasn't Megan."
"That was obviously just a rumor. There's no way Mr. Kingsley is married."
The group continued their heated discussion until they suddenly felt the temperature drop.
A doctor turned around and gasped. "Dr. Mitchell, you're here."
The doctors and nurses all jumped, quickly turning to greet Brooklyn.
Brooklyn looked at her colleagues with a blank expression and asked calmly, "If Mr. Clark knew you were discussing celebrity gossip during work hours, do you think he'd be angry?"
The doctors and nurses were startled and hurried back to their stations, the office falling silent.
Brooklyn glanced at the gossip magazine on the table, a shadow passing over her eyes.
"If Mr. Clark needs me, tell him I'm doing rounds," she said coolly before heading to the patient rooms.
As she walked away, she could hear the office buzz with conversation again.
"Dr. Mitchell is so intimidating. I wonder what kind of man could win her over."
"I think she's only interested in her work, no man could catch her eye."
"By the way, didn't a reporter snap a photo of Mr. Kingsley and his wife having dinner three years ago? His wife's silhouette looked a lot like Dr. Mitchell."
"A silhouette doesn't prove anything. I'm sure Dr. Mitchell is still single."
Brooklyn heard the speculation about her and snorted softly, continuing to the patient rooms.
Her colleagues were all wrong. Brooklyn wasn't single; she was married to Sebastian Kingsley.
Sebastian was the most famous young man in all of Aucester. He was handsome, with a wild charisma, and more importantly, he possessed an extraordinary talent for business. There were rumors that his assets had already reached the standard of the world's richest person, although he hadn't made this public.
Whether or not he was the richest man, it didn't stop him from being the dream man of countless women.
Brooklyn's pace slowed as she reached into her coat pocket, feeling the diamond ring inside.
The ring featured a rare pink diamond, rumored to have been bought by a mysterious tycoon as soon as it was mined.
That tycoon was Sebastian, who had the diamond crafted into a ring for his wife, Brooklyn.
Brooklyn touched the hard diamond, a cold smile on her lips. 'Love and marriage are as pure and strong as a diamond ring—what a joke.'
A flash of resentment crossed Brooklyn's eyes. She and Sebastian had been married for three years but had lived apart for just as long. They had met so few times she could count them on one hand. One thing was certain: Sebastian didn't love her. Their marriage was more like a game.
When Brooklyn left the patient room, she saw a crowd of doctors, nurses, and patients rushing in one direction.
"What's going on? Is there a fire?" Brooklyn stopped a nurse to ask.
"Dr. Mitchell, an ambulance just brought in Sebastian, and Megan is with him," the nurse said excitedly before running off.
Brooklyn stood frozen at the mention of Sebastian's name.

Heartsong
I looked strong, and my wolf was absolutely gorgeous.
I looked to where my sister is sitting and her and the rest of her posse have jealous fury on their faces. I then look up to where my parents are and they're glaring at my picture, if looks alone could set shit on fire.
I smirk at them then I turn away to face my opponent, everything else falling away but what was here on this platform. I take my skirt and cardigan off. Standing in just my tank and capris, I move into a fighting position and wait for the signal to start -- To fight, to prove, and not hide myself anymore.
This was going to be fun. I thought, a grin on my face.

The Last Spirit Wolf
“LYCANS?! Did you just say LYCANS?!
“Yes Vera! They are coming! Get your people ready.”
I couldn’t believe we actually have Lycans tonight.
I was told growing up that lycans and wolves were mortal enemies.
Rumors also said in order to protect their pureblood, Lycans were not allowed to marry wolves in generations.
I was still surprised but I couldn’t let my mind wander anymore. I’m a doctor.
A badly injured werewolf comes barging in through the E.R door, holding an unconscious wolf. I rush to them and the nurses that were already in their dresses and heels come to their aid.
What the hell happened?
I turn my full attention to the severely injured lycan and for a moment, it’s as if I can feel his slowing heart beat in my own chest. I check his vitals as a nurse reluctantly hooks him to all the machines. As I put my hand on his head to lift his eyelid and check for pupil response, I feel electricity run below my fingertips. What the…?
Without warning, his eyes shoot open startling me and sending both our heart rates through the roof. He looks at me intently; I would never think those eyes are of a man who is barely alive.
He whispers something too low for me to hear. I get closer and as he whispers again; he flat lines and my head is reeling.
Did he just whisper… mate?
