Introduction
Paula Mayer, the woman was asked to marry a man with a million secrets. Many people say that Mark Aliston has never been lucky in life.
His mother died saving him in an accident. Then his sister also died because of him. Then his two fiancees who died before their wedding day.
Will Paula also experience the same thing as Mark's two ex-fiancees? And can his second marriage survive to the end?
Chapter 1
Paula Mayer wrapped her body in a towel and stood by the door. Then she asked carefully.
"Should I change my clothes and go to bed first, or should I help you clean your body first?"
This was their wedding night.
The man in the wheelchair, whose eyes were covered by a piece of black silk, was her future husband.
This was the first time Paula met her future husband.
He was much more handsome than in his picture.
Such a distinctive handsome face. The bridge of his nose was high and pointed, his dark eyebrows were thick, and his figure was slender and well-built. The physique of her future husband was really very similar to the handsome prince in her dream.
Unfortunately, her future husband was a blind man in a wheelchair.
Many people said that Mark Aliston was unlucky from birth. He was considered the bearer of bad luck.
It has happened to his parents since he was seventeen years old, both parents died in an accident with him. At the age of twenty, the same thing happened to his younger sister. Then as an adult, both of his fiancées experienced the same thing.
When Paula heard these rumours, deep down, she was also afraid to become Mark's wife.
However, her aunt told her that the Aliston family would pay for her mother's medical expenses if she went to marriage with he. Finally, she was willing to take the risk for her mother's sake.
When she saw Mark not answering her question, Paula thought he hadn't heard her. So, she walked over and wanted to repeat her question.
But before she could come any closer, the woman instantly lost her breath when she saw what her husband-to-be was doing.
Mark took off the silk covering his eyes, and looked at her indifferently.
"Do you know who you are getting married to?" Mark asked in a very flat voice.
His gaze was too cold as he looked at her. Even so, why did a blind person have such a deep gaze?
After thinking about it, she felt there was nothing to be afraid of. Her future husband was a blind man, and she was trying to dispel the feelings that intimidated her.
"Yes, I know." Paula answered Mark's question honestly.
There was a slight frown on the man's dark eyebrows. "Aren't you afraid of death?"
Paula fell silent after hearing Mark's question just now. Paula's heartbeat quickened.
"I'm not afraid." Mark was silent after hearing Paula's answer.
"You saved my mum, so I feel indebted to you. I will keep my promise and give birth to a child for you. I will also take care of you for the rest of my life!" Paula's beautiful face looked very serious as she said that.
Mark, who heard Paula's answer, observed her silently. After a while, the man laughed ironically. "If that's what you want, help me take a shower."
Paula paused for a moment before answering. "Alright."
Having promised Mr Aliston that she would marry Mark, she had no plans to regret anything.
She was his legal wife once they got the marriage certificate.
Her husband was a disabled person. Hence, it was only right that she should be present to accompany him during her husband bath time.
"I will prepare some warm water for you." Paula said and went back into the bathroom.
The man's cold gaze was fixed on Paula's back who soon disappeared behind the door.
Indeed, he had sent some people to investigate Paula.
The information about the woman was very simple. She was a poor woman from a village in the mountains. Who had agreed to marry him, a poor man with a bad reputation, to cover her mother's medical expenses.
His two previous fiancés were women who were well known to many people. They came from wealthy families with famous family backgrounds.
Unfortunately, they had both been murdered suddenly and mysteriously before their marriage.
Paula was very foolish and naive. Even she was able to stay with him on their wedding night.
Either because she was so stupid, that people didn't bother to do anything to her.
As Mark was daydreaming, he heard the bathroom door open.
He looked up and a hint of surprise flashed in his dark eyes.
From within the thick fog in the bathroom, a petite woman slowly emerged.
Her long black hair was wet with water vapour, and a few strands of hair swayed on her sexy shoulders as she moved.
The towel wrapped around her body was completely wet, and clung to her body, revealing her curvaceous figure.
"Wait a minute."
Paula walked past Mark unceremoniously, and took out her suitcase from under the bed.
She took out a small bag from inside the suitcase, which contained her underwear.
Paula took out a black underwear and tore off the label before putting it on.
Probably because she thought that Mark was blind, the whole process of putting on the clothes was done in front of Mark.
Everything Paula did really tested Mark. Would something like that not provoke something in a paralysed man like him?
After skilfully putting on her clothes, Paula approached. Then she pushed the wheelchair towards the bathroom door.
After arriving inside, Paula helped Mark by taking off his clothes one by one.
Mark looks at Paula so seriously. While Paula didn't feel that Mark was looking at her at all.
Paula took off Mark's watch, his shirt, his belt, and then...
Paula pulled at her hand that had just unbuckled her future husband's belt.
"Can you keep it on while you shower?"
Mark who heard the ridiculous question from his future wife looked at Paula with a tinge of mischief in his eyes. "If I wear it, I can't clean certain parts."
"Hmm, that seems to be true." Paula nodded before extending her hand.
Mark felt a little surprised. "Is this woman that stupid? Does she not know what shame is?"
Mark didn't see any kind of reaction from Paula's face, as his main part was now not covered by anything.
Yet in her heart, Paula was feeling such turmoil. She had never seen it before.
"I'll help you into the bathtub," Paula said as she tried to wake Mark up from his wheelchair.
Although her body was no match for Mark's muscular body, Mark was finally in the tub.
Paula pushed her wet hair back. Then she looks for a scrubbing pad and immediately turns around.
Paula rubs his entire back and other body parts so gently. Not infrequently Paula also gave a gentle massage on Mark's back.
"If it hurts, tell me. I will be more gentle."
Mark was silent. Paula, who was accustomed to doing a gentle massage, when caring for her mother, managed to make Mark feel calm.
After all parts have been rubbed by Paula. Paula now stopped. She looked at the main part, and asked carefully.
"Do you want me to clean that part too?"
Mark's eyes looked deeply into Paula's. "What do you think?"

His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Invisible To Her Bully
Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
