Chapter 1
"Where are you off to so early this morning," Ana asked concerned.
"Are you keeping an eye on my every move now?" Alexander asked.
"It's not that Alex. I..." She wasn't able to complete her statement before a slap landed right across her face and she burst into tears.
"Will you shut the fk up. You're not a child," he said pushing her till she fell on the bed."Mind you, let this be the last time you ever question me, understood?" He said and left.
"Aaaaaaah," Ana screamed." What kind of a marriage is this? What kind of marriage is this where I can't even show concern for my husband," she said sobbing.
"Miss Ana..." a maid walked.
"What is it Veronica?" Ana asked wiping her tears. She couldn't let Veronica see her in tears.
"Madam, Mr Alex is waiting for you in the parking lot. I think he's really furious," Veronica said.
"I'll be there now." Ana said, she quickly put on a robe, put on her slippers and headed for the parking lot.
THE PARKING LOT
"Alex, you called for me?" Ana asked with fear in her voice.
"Ana, I'm sorry for raising my hand to you" he apologized.
"It...its fine," she said.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Ye...yes," she stammered.
"Good. Now, I'm expecting guests over in the evening. Make sure you prepare a nice meal for them alright," he commanded with an authoritative tone.
"Yes." Ana said.
"If I'm to return and you've not prepared food...I reserve my comments," he said, got into the car and the driver drove off.
Ana just stared at the moving car until it moved out of sight. She was definitely not happy. Who would be?
No single day passes by without Alex raising his hands to Ana for the most foolish things.
Yes she had a lot of money at her beck and call but what was the point of having all this money when there was no peace of mind? Ana usually asked herself.
Today, she'd woken up, she saw Alex dressing up like he was going out and all she did was ask where he was headed but then he hit her. She was definitely not happy. Who would be happy living like a punching bag in her own matrimonial home?
"I'll go get ready," she thought and left for her room.
After coming out of the shower, she dried her hair. Changed into a simple orange gown, brushed her hair and put on light makeup.
Ana was a very beautiful young woman in her early twenties. She had dark long hair, ocean blue eyes, a pointed nose and lips as red as rose. She quickly tied her hair up in a lose bun and headed straight for the kitchen.
"Good morning, Miss Ana,"the helpers greeted.
"Good morning," Ana replied with a fake smile. She didn't want any of the helpers to know what had transpired between her and her husband. She wanted to fix her marriage with Alex but Alex clearly wasn't interested.
"Miss, sir said there would be guests over and everything needs to be perfect," A maid called Melanie said.
"Yes. I'm aware of that," Ana said."How about this...Veronica, Desmond, Erica and I will handle the kitchen, while Monica, Melanie, David, and Sonya will handle the guests. Is that fine by all?" Ana asked.
"Yes miss,"they all chorused.
"Now get to work," Ana said and retreated to the kitchen.
"pass the salt," Ana told Veronica as she stirred the pudding.
"Here miss," Veronica said as she dropped the salt on the table.
Ana added a little salt before covering the pot and allowing it to simmer.
"I should go check up on Sonya and the rest," Ana thought to herself and left the kitchen.
"How's everything going here?" Ana asked.
"Good,"Monica replied.
"Good job." Ana complimented. "Okay then, it seems you all have everything under control. I guess I'll leave," she said and went back to the kitchen.
FEW MINUTES LATER
"Miss, everything is ready,"Desmond told Ana.
"Ok," Ana said."You can all have breakfast now, " she told them and left for her room.
Knock. Knock.
"Who's it," Ana asked as she got off her bed to unlock the door.
"Miss, it's Veronica," Veronica replied.
Ana quickly went and opened the door. Of all the maids, Veronica was her favorite. She was the only one who knew when something was wrong.
"Come on," Ana ushered her in.
"Miss, won't you have breakfast?" Veronica asked as she dropped some food on the table beside Ana.
"You know I can't eat. Alex hasn't eaten and if he's to return and find out I ate without him..." Tears where now threatening to fall.
"It's okay," Veronica said stroking her back. "But are you not hungry?" she asked.
"I am but what can i do? This is my life now," she said.
"That reminds me miss. You promised to tell me how you got into this mess,"
"I promise, you don't wanna hear it." Ana said.
"I do miss," Veronica insisted.
"Fine," Ana sighed."I'll tell you"
"Tell her what," Ana heard a masculine voice ask. That voice came with a very cold aura attached to it. She didn't need to turn in order to know whose voice it belonged to. Only one person could do that...Alexander Hamilton.
"A...Alex?" she asked standing.
"What do you want to tell her," Alex asked.
"No...it's nothing. She..."Before she knew it, a slap landed on her face.
Veronica could not help but get scared.
"Get out before the count of three, one..." Before Alex could complete his statement, Veronica ran out of the room.
If a man could hit his wife in front of a maid, what stops him from hitting his maid?
Alex quickly locked the door and took a belt out of his wardrobe.
"Alex please, I beg you..." Ana begged as she used her eyes to scan to entirety of the large room looking for a means of escape.
"So this is what you do when I'm out right?" he asked giving her a stroke with his belt.
"Aaaaaaah," Ana cried.
"So, you wanna go about telling people lies about me right? You'll pay for this," he said and started hitting her.
From the living room, everyone could hear ana's screams.
"What's going on?"Desmond asked Erica.
"What else? Sir must be hitting ma'am again,"Erica said and rolled her eyes.
"I really feel for her,"Melanie chipped in.
"If this is what marrying a rich person feels like, I'd rather marry a pauper,"Sonya chipped in.
"Alex please," Ana screamed.
The sound of the whips filled the entire house and everyone felt shivers down their spines.
Some minutes later, they stopped hearing screams. Alex walked out of the room. Without saying a word, he stormed out of the house.
"Miss," Veronica called as she ran into the room.
"We better go check on her,"Erica suggested and they all ran into the room.
"Miss, " Veronica called as she checked the entire room along with the other helpers.
"She's not here,"David said.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaah,"Melanie screamed from the bathroom.
"What's wrong?" Veronica asked and as she walked into the bathroom, she saw Ana lying unconscious in the bathtub with bruises all over her.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.

Will Booker be able to find the source of the threat before it's too late?
Will Dani finally give her heart to a man who's everything she's been warned about?
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
