Introduction
Chapter 1
Everytime i see her i can't help but stare. Her eyes are the most beautiful i have ever seen and i can't help myself. They are a extremely bright purple color and i have to say that though they are unique they are also slightly freaky due to the fact that i have never seen purple before. I should probably be scared but i honestly don't know how to react every time i see her. Everyone else avoids her and is scared which seems relevant but, I just stare like a fucking weirdo and really don't care.
There she is again leaving her building which happens to be right across the street from where i work. I see her leave everyday and come home if i am working double shifts. She is elegant but holds herself with this attitude that she is not to be fucked with and is a force to reckon with. I want to talk to her and ask her how she is you know, get to know her some but she seems like she is not in the friend making mood. Probably has something to do with how everyone reacts when they see her. One of these days i am going to have to balls to talk to her.
As i finish up my shift at the cafe there is a loud noise and what sounds like people fighting outside. I come around to the front of the building and look out only to see two guys trying to grab the purple eyes girl. She is fighting and freaking out and doing everything she can to get away from them, I unlock the front door and head straight at the guys. I don't care if it's my business or not i am not going to sit back and witness someone be taken or harmed. As i get closer to the fighting i realize that the men are not men at all but some kind of creatures. They have glowing red eyes and fangs. Their strength is unmatched as they slap me and i land back across the street in front of my work. She instantly stops fighting and must looks at me, her eyes are glowing now and she is crying. As i stand up and start to move back across the street she shakes her head no and allows them to load her into the sedan. I have no clue what just happened but i am damn sure going to find out.
Like i said most people run from this kind of thing but i am not most people. I have always been intrigued by things that can not be explained or that would scare most people. That is probably why i stared instead of running when i saw her, I was curious and i want to know who she is and what is going on more than ever now. Who were the men or beasts taking her, what or who is she and why did they kidnap her? All questions i need answered and plan to have just that happen. I take my now sore ass back inside and finish cleaning and locking up. As i leave to go home that night i am extremely cautious. Looking behind me the whole time i walk, triple checking the door after i lock it to make sure nobody can get in.
Sitting on the couch eating my dinner and thinking about what happened, I hear a noise outside and get up to check it. As i make it to the window to look out i see glowing red eyes and i know they found me. With a breaking of the door and shattering glass the two that took the girl with purple eyes are standing in my living room, they are here for me because either i tried to help her or because i saw them but either way they have come for me just like i knew they would. As they grab me and remove me from my apartment i realize that they are super fast and very sneaky. I am starting to think that they are vampires, I can't help but be a bit more than curious now i am actually very afraid and i have a feeling that i am about to die. I don't think that supernatural creatures like this are okay with people like me knowing about them. I just hope that when they decide to kill me, they make it fast. Then the thought hits me, what if they take me to the same place that they took the girl? What if i get to see her again and maybe learn her name? I could die happy if i could see her and know that she is in fact ok.
The vehicle stops and those two same guys pull me out of the back, when i open my eyes instead of being faced with their boss or someone who is scary instead is a man in front of me with the same exact eyes as the girl i watch. This i was not expecting. Now i have a whole new idea of questions and no where near any closer to answers. Who is he? Why does she look like him? If they are related then why did he have her kidnapped? What kind of family is this and what has my curiosity got me into this time. Last time i was this curious it affected my life in a way that i'm pretty sure Vampires wouldn't like. Guess i better act calm and normal until i figure out what is really going on.
"There is a hunter in town, we can smell him and for some reason he has been watching my daughter. I knew he would try and "save" her so we established a scenerio where he could try and do just that. Once we got his scent we were able to go back and capture him, though for being a hunter and smelling like them he looked shocked to see vampires not to mention our brute strength. I am not sure that a hunter is what we have here, we may have something else that is more dangerous and we mistook him for a hunter. If that is the case we could all be in serious trouble by bringing him here. I hope we are doing the right thing."
