Chapter 2 Two

Vaelunie pov

“Vaelunie, because of what you did, this family has become a laughing stock,a magic less freak like you dare to deceive everyone” my father who had been quiet all along yelled out angrily as soon as we entered the estate.

I looked around the building, because of the memories I understood what was going on, my other half soul couldn't handle my power and it buried itself deep inside leaving only an empty vessel.

" Are you now ignoring us?! You don't even feel remorse for what you did” my eldest brother said angrily. He was sitting on the couch and I stood in the middle of everything.

"Why should I feel any remorse?” I spoke up and they all stared at me, their faces full of shock.

“Y..you can talk?” My sister Kailani asked mid sob,she had been shedding tears and talking about how everything was her fault all the way from the road.

"Should I thank you for giving me a deadly poison that even a mage wouldn't dare take, dare mother?" I said , fixing my gaze on the woman that called herself my mother, I was barely able to suppress my emotions, I haven't even fully settled inside my body yet,I couldn't risk letting my emotions overwhelm me.

“How dare you accuse me,I am your mother,why would I poison you?" My mother said her eyes were drifting around, her hands were trembling and her forehead was sweating.

“You didn't think you were my mother when you forced me to sign that agreement" I said in a low voice and took a step closer and she backed away, she even stumbled and sat down on the couch I stopped two feet away from her “ you didn't think I was your daughter when you forced me to give up my engagement, support my sister betrayal and even tried to make me become Kailani womb, just because she is fragile and can't go through labor, you..” I pointed at her directly, "don't deserve to be a mother” .

Her face went pale and she couldn't speak, I spun around and looked at the others, they were all frozen up and looked at me like I was a stranger.

I continued “you all lived in my home, spent my money and even tried to kill me because I refused to bend to your wills" I said loud enough for everyone to hear, even the servants that were eavesdropping on us.

“It seems that poison has left your brain damaged, this house never belonged to you , neither does anything" my brother Ivan shouted angrily and stood from his seat.

“Oh really?" I said and rolled my eyes “why don't you ask your parents if what I am saying is actually true"

“Dear Uncle, is what I am saying a lie?" I looked past Ivan and called out for my father who was my uncle.

They all thought that because my body lived like a doll and didn't say anything , they could walk all over me. The dark lord must be laughing at me right now.

I wasn't related to them by blood or anything, the real head of the family who was unmarried adopted me after she found me and she died from her prolonged illness, she left everything in my name, I was barely two years old when she found me.

Because my original body reverted back to that of a child they thought they could manipulate me and use me as they please,they couldn't inherit anything because the contract was sealed with blood and magic.

“You are just an abandoned magic less freak my sister brought back,from an unknown place and you think you belong to this family, know your place" My aunt spoke up,she had recovered from her shock.

“That's right, this isn't my home and as of today I am cutting all ties with every single one of you, let that poison be considered as payment for raising me all this years" I said, I couldn't stand to be in the same room as any of them and no way was I going to spend my retirement anywhere around them.

“You mean it ? Then does that mean you will give up your right over the court title?" My uncle asked ,he couldn't even hide his excitement.

" Of course, but you will need to prepare enough money for me to leave” I replied and took a seat, standing there was making me dizzy.

"Yes, I will give you money and you better keep your promise and leave for good” My father replied and then gave a slight nod to the butler who bowed and excused himself, a few minutes later a bag was dropped in front of me.

" Here is the money, now take it and leave” my father commanded.

I opened the bag and saw the golds inside it,he really wanted to get rid of me , a contract was in front of me, I picked up the quill and signed my name on the contract and then bit my finger tip hard enough to draw blood and let it drop on the signed contract, a red glow appeared and the contract was fully signed.

I picked up the bag of gold and walked out of the room. They didn't notice that I was gone and didn't care. With every step that I took,the memories of how I lived here surfaced, though I didn't truly experience anything here,I still felt sad.

I wiped off the tears that threatened to fall off, I wasn't related to them,I am an immortal, resting was all that mattered to me right now.

I stood outside the gate and glanced back at the estate,which was never truly home. Those people inside had the same face as those in the mortal realm, and their behaviors were exactly the same. I didn't want to stay there and end up more miserable.

“Okay Vaelunie Solavinne, don't waste your time on those that aren't worth it, Solavinne was actually my real name, as an immortal I only have the name bestowed on me after I was born from the eclipse.

The most important thing was finding a house far away from these people. I was able to handle going around the city because my body was already familiar with this place and I was able to find the place that sold houses.

“Miss, are you sure you are taking this place, it is not suitable for living" the house renter said, I pulled out one gold coin and placed it inside his palms.

“I am taking it, besides it is cheap" I said with a smile and took the property deed from him and signed the contract.

The house renter left after I signed the contract,I turned around and scanned the place I was now going to live in. It truly wasn't a suitable place for living, but it was far from the city and no one would disturb me.

Cleaning it would take time but with magic it would be faster and then I would start growing plants and flowers which I love most.

I pushed open the gate and the gate fell apart the moment it was pushed open and landed on the ground with a loud thud I jumped back a little

" And there goes the gate” I mumbled and then let out a sigh

As I walked forward , stepping over littered dirt and the over growing grass brushing against my legs, I stood on the porch facing the brown cracked faded door, I pushed it open and it made a creaking sound and dust fell on my face,I coughed a little as I stepped inside.

The inside was dark and I could hear crickets and sounds of rats running across the floor, I looked around the space,the was a few holes in the ceiling and cobwebs around everything,I walked closer to the window at the left side, it was already broken, and I could see the view outside from the window.

A smile tugged on my lips, and I turned around and went back outside and walked around the building, when I got to the backyard.

“Wow!" i exclaimed in amazement, the backyard was huge and it looked like a garden, though it had been abandoned with overgrown plants and weeds, it still looked beautiful.

For the first time since I came down to this world, I felt happy and excited.

I was now making lists in my mind on how to manage the garden and I took a step forward and leaned down and touched a beautiful flower. I didn't know the name but I didn't care. I will spend all my time planting and learning more about it.

Then I felt a sting on my finger tip, I frowned at the sight of blood , the wound wasn't healing like it should,I let out a sigh and tried to stand up but then I felt dizzy and stumbled back.

I tried to walk but then I lost control over my legs and fell down on my back, breathing heavily.I let out a groan,my head hurts so much and it was like someone was stabbing me right through the heart.

My consciousness began to fade because of the pain and I couldn't stand it. My body still hadn't settled down and my power was spiraling inside my body and slowly I lost awareness of my su

rroundings.
