Cherie Akwu · Ongoing · 41.6k Words
Introduction
He leaned down until his face was in my neck. He trailed the tip of his nose up my neck, "I can't, little red. Not so soon."
I bit my lips, holding back my shallow breaths.
"What -" my words slammed back into my throat, dying down, when his hand groped my thigh.
"I'm going to keep moving my hands up until my finger is soaked with your juice, little red." He spoke softly, trailing his hands up, slowly.

A dare to make out with the hottest biker.
That was all it was supposed to be.
Hell, I wasn't even supposed to see him again ever in my life - I mean, wasn't it why we made out with strangers?
But nope. There he was... sitting directly opposite me at a family dinner, staring deep into my soul with the most cocky smirk I had ever seen in my life, sending cold shivers down my spine.
Who would've thought my one-time playmate would be my STEPBROTHER. God have mercy!
Now, Sinn and I shared a dirty secret and he was never going to let me live it down. Worse, I couldn't get that moment out of my head - not when it felt so steamy, yet so wrong.
But I had promised myself that Sinn was Off-limit. I couldn't like my Stepbrother. Never.
Chapter 1
Valerie's POV
"I dare you..." Nikita, my only best friend, smirked at me, holding out a paper cup for me.
"Mhm-hmm?" I raised my eyebrow at her, taking the cup from her.
She opened her mouth to talk when the crowd cheered loudly, whistling and yelling at the top of their lungs as they hailed the bikers.
Nikita and I turned to the track, smiling brightly. We squealed once the exhaust from the bikers motorcycles rumbled loudly. Electricity sparked all over my body, sending the expected adrenaline rush I always looked forward to whenever I participated or did things I shouldn't.
I was putting myself in danger by participating in these illegal things but what people didn't know was that one of the reason i did it, aside spiting my father was because I wanted to ... feel something.
These were the only times I actually felt something, other than numbness.
Especially on this day. My mother's memorial.
My heart clenched in my chest from the thought of 'she' not being with us. With me. Things hadn't been the same since she died.
Nikita nudged my shoulder with hers, pointing at the boy with black and red helmet, his jawline sharp and defined, his eyes hooded, promising danger. He had piercings on his ears and at the corner of his lips. Mhm!
"He's so hot," She stated leaving no room for debating. "So... I'm daring you - no, I dare you to kiss him."
My mouth parted, the beer now tasting soured on my tongue.
"Come on! This isn't even a hard dare for the Valerie. Don't tell me you're growing a heart now," she gasped dramatically, placing her free hand on my chest.
"As if!" I rolled my eyes, ignoring the knot in my stomach.
"Then do it! After the race."
Swallowing hard, I turned to face the 'dare' guy. I never hesitated to do anything but this time ... Something different was happening to me.
Maybe it was the drink, I don't know.
My breath hitched when he turned to our side of the crowd, his eyes settling on mine. He held my gaze for a long while, before running his fingers through his hair, giving me a better view of his face.
My throat bobbed up and down.
He was freaking beautiful.
He winked at me, placing his helmet on his head. My heart raced, really fast.
"Oh my God! Did he just wink at you?" Nikita looked at me with wide eyes.
"I... I doubt. There are thousands of girls here. How are we sure it's me?" Chuckling nervously, I threw into my mouth the rest of the content in my cup, the beer burning my throat.
"If you say so." Nikita hummed sarcastically, telling me she didn't believe me one bit. "The race is starting! I know hot new boy will win."
Scoffing, I folded my arms. Nikita noticed, breaking my hands free, lacing our fingers together. Tight.
Nikita wasn't an all-telling emotional person by nature, but she made sure to always speak through her actions. She was like the sister I never had.
We met at a cliff, years back when my mother had just died. I wanted to take my life - you know, join my mother wherever she was - when Nikita showed up, telling me about things that didn't even concern me, cracking stupid jokes about death and random things to make me laugh, then apologized for interrupting my little suicide mission and encouraged me to continue, acting like she wasn't there.
Funny girl.
Already, I had lost the zeal. I just turned to her, crying out to a total stranger - something I never ever did. She held me for long and then took me to a club where we drank and danced till our legs felt sore.
To Nikita, I owed my life.
"Yesss!!!" Nikita screamed at the top of her lungs, jumping up and down. "I told you he'd win!"
Oh no.
Shit.
She turned to me, signaling me with her brows to get to business.
"Can we -"
"Can we..." Nikita folded her arms, raising one of her brows.
I shook my head. Nikita was going to bill the shit out of me if I tapped out of a dare. Besides, it's be the first dare I'd be tapping out of.
Come on, Valerie. She didn't even give you what you can't do. Put yourself together and just kiss the guy.
"Go, girl!" Nikita cheered, wiggling her fingers at me as she watched me go.
Getting guys wasn't my problem because I was beautiful. My mother always said I had the beauty of goddess. However, this guy...
Okay, enough.
I stood by the corner of the toilet, waiting for him. They always came in to wash their faces whenever they were done. Not all of them though, but I was hoping he would.
When I saw him approaching, I rushed into the toilet, leaning on the sink as I pretended to smoke. My skirt was short so leaning down meant flashing him. No, not my ass cheek though.
Just some smooth, fresh thighs.
Guys like him liked that. Right?
"This is not the female's toilet." The hoarse, thick voice spoke.
My heart quaked in my chest. Swallowing hard, I stood up slowly, turning to face him with my famous seductive eyes.
"I know," I smirked, raising my cigarette. "I needed to smoke."
Brah, I never smoke.
His face was straight, stoic. His stormy grey eyes dropped down to my hand and then to my eyes.
"Hmm," he hummed.
Uhhh... Okay?
"Good game out there. I really thought Miko would fry your ass." I scoffed, acting indifferent.
He took a step forward, halting. "You thought wrong."
My eyes fluttered, my heart beating fast in my chest. "You new?" I managed to choke out, my voice unwavering. I was trying.
He scoffed, taking another step forward. Guys, he was almost covering the space between us.
God, I don't know if I can do this.
Okay, calm down. Play uninterested. It always works.
"Are you always this interested in every biker? Or is it just me, hm?" His eyes narrowed down to mine.
Rolling my eyes, I scoffed. Again, I know. "You wish. Get over yourself, biker boy. You're not my type."
Damn, his pride!
Fuck this dare.
I had moved my body to walk past him when his gloved hands held my forearm. He pulled me back, slamming my back on the wall. A short, huffed breath escaped my lips.
"Say that again," he whispered lowly, dangerous, towering over me. He caged me in-between his hands, his head tipping down.
I grinded my teeth together, hard.
My chest heaved up and down. I couldn't even breathe well. His cologne was so... Intoxicating.
He held my chin up, making my eyes snap wide open.
"What? Cat got your tongue?" He smirked, his tone teasing.
"Funny." I said dryly.
"Oh, she talks," he mocked. "You're a pathetic liar, do you know that?"
Frowning, I tried to move but he pushed me back slightly, pinning me back to the wall.
"Let me go,"
He leaned down until his face was in my neck. He trailed the tip of his nose up my neck, "I can't, little red. Not so soon."
I bit my lips, holding back my shallow breaths.
"What -" my words slammed back into my throat, dying down, when his lips pressed the crown of my neck.
"You might want something to show that you made out with me, don't you think?" He spoke softly, trailing his hand by the side of my thigh. A soft gasp left my lips as he raised one of my thigh up, gluing it to the side his waist.
"Are you sure this is about me, biker boy?" I raised my eyebrow at him, our eyes meeting. My body jolted with electric waves when his dark chuckle echoed around the room.
"You know you need to actually light a cigarette to smoke, little red?" He smirked, his finger slightly brushing against the side of my face, tucking my hair behind my ear.
My eyes snapped open, the cigarette slipping out of my grip instantly. Shit.
"Nevertheless, I'd still give you what you want, hm?" He cradled my face in his palm, leaning in slowly, closing up the space between us.
My heart rammed hard against my ribcage, every fibre of nerves shooting up. My eyes flickered to his lips, watching his tongue dart over it, keeping it moist.
I swallowed hard, breathing softly through my mouth as I tried to ignore how good his thumb felt on my thigh, brushing a spot sweetly.
I shut my eyes instantly, my hand on his chest. I didn't know whether to pull him in or push him away. My cognitive system had literally shut down. His lips were just inches from touching mine when I turned my face to the side.
He scoffed lightly, his hot breath fanning my cheek. "Touché"
I brought my leg down first before pushing him back a little, a dark smirk on my lip. I dragged my hand along his chest as I turned around him. Then I leaned to his ear, whispering lowly.
"I'd jump you if you were a little less prideful,"
"How about next time?" He asked, smirking darkly at me. Like he had something under his sleeve.
My eyes roamed down his body slowly. I doubt I could hold back next time but thing was...
There wasn't going to be a next time.
