Introduction
James Wallis is 23, powerful, and ready to claim what is his. What will happen when Avery's identity comes to life? What will happen when she finds out who she really is and that she has been sold to the most powerful alpha in the United States before she was even born?
"I'm not marrying you," I said as I slowly opened my eyes, my voice trembling.
"Yes, you are," was his only response before removing his hands and freeing me from the small cage I had been placed in. I let out a heavy sigh and then looked back up at him, tears still streaming down my face.
"Whether it's by choice or by force, Avery, you will marry me." Follow James and Avery on their journey through hate, love, deceit, possessiveness, and power."
Chapter 1
~Avery’s POV~
I stared at him as he was holding the pen and writing notes, his eyes moving as he read through the history book and his tense jaw biting together as it did when he focused.
The love of my life. The only man I had been with for the past 3 years, the only man I will ever want until the day I die. Liam Wass and I had gone through everything together, through hell and love and we were stronger than ever.
I know it sounds weird since I’m only eighteen and hadn’t experienced much but somehow, I just know that he was the one.
His blue eyes made me melt every time he looked at me and the feeling I got through my entire body when he touched me, a feeling of happiness and joy. I could never wish for more.
I tore my eyes from him, unwillingly and stared at the books in front of me, I did want to pass the exam that was coming up in a month, It was my dream education taking me towards my dream job.
’Avery, the engineer.’ It did have a nice ring to it and I wouldn't stop until I had made it my reality.
I went over to the fridge as the floorboards made a squeaking sound. Our house was quite old. The dark-colored wooden floors made sounds whenever it was stepped on, the walls had tapestry of the same color and the kitchen was big with a fridge and freezer beside each other. On one side we had the sink that was pitch black and on the other a big desk that went all the way to the window by the wall. Three cupboards over the desk that reached as far as the desk did, also made of wood. I guess my parents had a taste.
As I opened the fridge to pull out a soda I jumped in shock at the sound of a ringing phone. It was Liam's.
”Yes? I understand. I'll be home in ten.”
Liam turned to me and looked to be in distress and told me that it was his mom, he had to get home right away.
”Is everything okay?” I asked with a worried tone as I stepped towards him.
”Everything’s fine, my mother just wants to talk, I'll call you later. I love you, babe.”
He gave me a quick kiss as he rushed out leaving all his books and grabbing nothing but his bag.
"Love you too..." I said to the nothingness in front of me.
I couldn't help but worry that something was wrong. His family had become like my own and my family the same for him.
I shook all the negative thoughts out of my head, knowing he would call me later and explain. I gathered the books and placed them on the side table next to the door, I cleaned up in the kitchen where we had been studying and threw a quick glance at the clock. Seven pm.
I had time for a walk before my parents got home. They were both at work and didn't end until nine after which they would pick up my sister from the neighbor down the road as they did every week day. She had become like a grandmother to us both but mostly to her as she was younger and spent more time there.
I grabbed my beige trench coat hanging by the door and took my keys that were in a silver bowl on the table in the hall. We were all experts at losing keys in this family so it was put there so that if we lost our keys, it would be because we hadn't put them where they should be whenever we got home. I opened the door and looked over the pathway leading up to our house.
There were flowers planted along the path in all different colors, and on each side of the path, there was grass all around the house. I remembered running barefoot there as a child and kicking a ball with my father, we also had a trampoline for my little sister. Jasmine was eight years old, a beautiful and strong little girl, her hair was as white as snow just like our mothers, and her eyes blue like the ocean. She was strong for her age and always stood up for the weaker ones, I couldn't have been more proud.
Our relationship wasn't like other siblings though. We weren't very close. Neither was my relationship with my parents. I somehow always felt like an outsider looking in when being with my family.
I locked the door behind me as I preceded down to the fence. The fence went all around the house and when I was younger my mother told me it was there to keep evil out. Now that I was older I realized that if evil wanted to come in, it could just jump over the fence, but nothing had ever happened so perhaps the belief that it protected us, did something.
I opened the fence and started walking on the road, down to the small little town square we have. We live in a small village with no more than a few hundred people, everyone knew each other and all around the village there were miles and miles of forest. All children were forbidden from going into the woods from a young age, as it was very easy for them to get lost and not find their way back.
Children from eighteen and up however were allowed to roam around wherever they pleased.
I had a road I always took when walking at night. It was alongside the small river and led almost all the way to the square.
I had been walking for twenty minutes when I reached the town square. As I walked around the alley of a few farmhouses I saw two people going at it, the man lifted up the woman and pushed her against the wall. As he kisses her neck violently I could see I recognized him. He took his hands and ran them over her body as she wrapped her legs around his waist.
And then, he lifted his head and locked his eyes with hers and I saw now why I recognized him.
It was Liam
My Liam.

Strings of Fate
Like all children, I was tested for magic when I was only a few days old. Since my specific bloodline is unknown and my magic is unidentifiable, I was marked with a delicate swirling pattern around my upper right arm.
I do have magic, just as the tests showed, but it has never lined up with any known Magic species.
I can't breathe fire like a dragon Shifter, or hex people who piss me off like Witches. I can't make potions like an Alchemist or seduce people like a Succubus. Now I don't mean to be unappreciative of the power I do have, it's interesting and all, but it just really doesn't pack much of a punch and most of the time it is just pretty much useless. My special magical skill is the ability to see threads of fate.
Most of life is annoying enough for me, and what never occurred to me is that my mate is a rude, pompous nuisance. He's an Alpha and my friend's twin brother.
“What are you doing? This is my home, you can't just let yourself in!” I try and keep my voice firm but when he turns and fixes me with his golden eyes I shrink back. The look he gives me is imperious and I automatically drop my eyes to the floor as is my habit. Then I force myself to look back up again. He doesn't notice me looking up because he's already looked away from me. He's being rude, I refuse to show that he's scaring me, even though he most definitely is. He glances around and after realising that the only place to sit is the little table with its two chairs he points to it.
“Sit.” he orders. I glare at him. Who is he to order me around like this? How can someone this obnoxious possibly be my soul mate? Maybe I'm still asleep. I pinch my arm and my eyes water a little from the sting of pain.
The Moon's Descendant
“You think I’m going to let my daughter sleep with whoever she wants” he spat. He kicked me in the ribs, sending me flying back across the floor.
“I didn’t” I coughed, gasping for air.
I felt as though my chest had caved in. I thought I was about to vomit when Hank grabbed my hair and lifted my head. CRACK. It was like my eye had exploded inside my skull when he punched me in the face. I landed on the cold concrete and pressed my face onto the floor. He used his foot to roll me over so that I was on my back.
“Look at you, you disgusting c**t” he huffed as he crouched down beside me and wiped the hair from my face. He smiled, a terrifying evil smile.
“I have something extra special for you tonight” he whispered.
Hidden in the dark forest, on Cape Breton Island, lives a small community of Weres. For generations they remained hidden from the humans and maintained a peaceful existence. That is until one small woman joins their pack and throws their world upside down.
Gunner the future Alpha, serving as a knight in shining armour saves the young woman from certain death. Bringing with her a mysterious past and possibilities that many had long since forgotten, Zelena is the light they didn’t know they needed.
With new hope, comes new dangers. A clan of hunters want back what they believe the pack has stolen from them, Zelena.
With her new powers, new friends and new family, they all fight to protect their homeland and the gift that the Moon Goddess has bestowed upon them, the Triple Goddess.
The Four Mafia Men and Their Prize
“Kiss back” he mumbles, and I feel rough hands all over my body giving me tight squeezes as a warning not to piss them off further. So I give in. I begin to move my mouth and open my lips slightly. Jason wastes no time devouring every inch of my mouth with his tongue. Our lips doing the tango, his dominance winning the race.
We break away, breathing hard. Next, Ben turns my head to face him and does the same thing. His kiss is definitely softer but just as controlling. I moan into his mouth as we continue to exchange saliva. He tugs my bottom lip slightly in his teeth as he pulls away. Kai pulls my hair, so I am looking up, his large frame towering over me. He bends down and claims my lips. He was rough and forceful. Charlie followed and was a mix. My lips feel swollen, my face feels all hot and flushed, and my legs feel like rubber. For some murdering psychotic assholes, damn can they kiss.
Aurora has always worked hard. She just wants to live her life. By chance, she met four mafia men Jason, Charlie, Ben and Kai. They are the ultimate dominants in the office, on the streets, and definitely in the bedroom. They always get what they want and THEY SHARE EVERYTHING.
How will Aurora adjust to having not 1 but 4 powerful men showing her the pleasure she only ever dreamed of? What will happen when a mysterious someone shows interest in Aurora and shakes things up for the notorious mafia men?
