Introduction
"Why?"
"You're crazy, aren't you? How could you- wow, that's so big!"
"What's big? What are you looking at?"
"Th-that's your dick, I mean yours-" I felt fresh blood pouring from my nose.
"What's wrong with mine?" Jacob asked. He stepped closer to me, making my nosebleed worse seeing something between his crotch.
"D-don't come any closer! It's yours-"
"What are you talking about? Don't you really want it, hmm?" Jacob pushed my body until my back was against the wall. His two strong arms immediately embraced my body. He's really crazy, but somehow I like his craziness even though I can't admit it.
"Jacob, isn't it too soon for that? We haven't even kissed yet, so-"
"Want a kiss?" He whispered softly. He makes my soul surge, he is truly perfect.
"Yes, I do."
Chasing dreams in New York, almost made me homeless. Until a man offers me to share a room with him. Take it or leave it?
Chapter 1
"Mom, I beg you please!" I beg very much. I hope at least a mother can understand her child's difficulties.
"No! I won't! Why don't you understand? If you're having trouble, just go home! Why are you putting up with it? You're always giving your parents trouble!" She said angrily and immediately ended the call.
"Mom, wait, don't turn it off yet! Mom, please!"
Tit...tit...tit...
Call dropped. Damn, I never thought my mom would be this cruel to me. I was silent for five seconds, sitting alone at the bus stop with a miserable face. I kept asking myself, was this the end of my strong determination at that time? I confidently left home and thought that I could get a good job in New York and become rich.
What was I really thinking? Who am I to be so confident in my own abilities? Damn, my life is really unlucky. After only three days in New York, I was already homeless.
"It's already two in the afternoon, isn't it? Ah... so hungry! Haven't eaten since morning, how is this?" I muttered. I'm sure people passing by at the bus stop kept looking at me who sat for hours at the bus stop carrying a suitcase.
Excitedly, I tried to determine how much money I had left in my wallet and the result was, "No...!" I shouted lamenting how poor I was.
"There's only 20 dollars left, how am I going to survive with this little money? And why haven't any of my job applications been accepted? Oh God, help your servant!"
"Hey, are you okay? Did you just get robbed?" Asked an old woman who looked at me with pity. I smiled bitterly, I couldn't possibly tell her that I didn't have the money to rent a hotel or apartment for 20 dollars
"Ah, no! I'm fine!" I said while smiling awkwardly.
"Thank God, I thought you had just been robbed! Because you've been sitting here and fidgeting." The old woman smiled in relief. Her face was very gentle, she said that she saw me sitting at this bus stop with a restless face? That means, she's been watching me since I've been sitting here?
"Her face looks like grandma." I thought. This old woman reminds me of my grandmother who died when I was in middle school.
"Can I sit next to you?"
"Sure, please!" I said as I shifted and gave her a seat. She sat up slowly with a little difficulty because she was using a cane. Seeing that she looked like she needed help, I immediately helped her.
"What's your name?"
"M-me? I'm Jennifer."
"Jennifer? Are you a traveler?"
"Um...not really! I'm looking for work here, I come from out of town."
"Is that so? From what city?"
"Woodstock in Vermont."
"Woodstock? My late husband was also from that town. It was a very nice town." She said with a smile.
Somehow I feel like this conversation is a bit long. I still remember how my grandmother used to always tell me long stories, she was the only grandchild who wanted to listen to stories about her past or you could say, I was the only grandchild who had a lot of free time.
"But New York is so much better."
"Yes, maybe the values are different. But, every place definitely has its own values."
"That's right! Then, can I also know your name, madam?"
"Maria, my name is Mariana Logunova."
"Madam Maria? Are you waiting for someone, madam?"
"No! I was shopping at the supermarket across the street and saw you sitting here since I entered the supermarket three hours ago. So I thought, maybe you were in trouble and no one was helping you."
Honestly, I feel very moved. How could anyone feel more compassion than my own family? This world is strange. After I realized it, Madam Maria was carrying a white package and it seemed to be filled with household items.
She opened the plastic package and took out a packet of bread, a bottle of orange juice and two apples. She gave it to me.
"This is for you, you can eat it!"
"T-thank you-"
"You said you were looking for work, right? I heard that the supermarket is hiring for a shop clerk. You can try it!"
"R-really?"
"Yes,"
"Wow...finally, thank you very much, madam."
"You're welcome."
A black car stopped in front of the bus stop. Madam Maria immediately got up when a middle-aged man in uniform got out of the car and opened the door.
"Madam, sorry for the long wait!" Said the man.
I was stunned when the man called Madam Maria 'Madam', it seemed like she wasn't just anyone. I helped her into the car and noticed one thing, the zipper of her bag was open and I could see a brown purse.
"How is this? Do I have to take it? What if I find out?" My mind was restless as the strong desire to survive rose high in the air. It felt like I really had no choice.
"Thank you, then see you?" She said while waving her hand before the car drove off.
"Yeah, see you, Madam Maria? Be careful on the road!"
"Good luck?" She said as the car started to move forward. I fell silent.
"Oh God, I'm sorry! If I get a job and a lot of money, I will definitely give it back. There must be an identity card in this wallet, right?"
I immediately hid the wallet in my bag before anyone noticed, I hope there are no surveillance cameras in this place, otherwise my story is over.

Before I could answer, he moved closer, suddenly looming over me, his face inches from mine. I felt my breath caught, my lips parting in surprise.

My breathing accelerated, small sounds escaping my throat as he explored my body. His touches were both punishment and pleasure, drawing shudders from me that I thought he felt reverberating through his own body.
My nightgown had ridden up, his hands discovering more of mine with each caress. We were both lost in sensation, rational thought receding with each passing second...

Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
I’d appreciate all your support, thank you so much!
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
