THE APOCALYPSE CAPTIVE QUEEN
Prince Nova · Ongoing · 29.1k Words
Introduction
Dragged from the ruins of my home and taken straight into the empire of the man responsible for it all, I should have died with them.
But they made one mistake.
They left me alive.
Now I stand among them, hiding my rage behind silence, waiting for the moment to strike.
Torin finds himself ensnared by feelings for me, feelings he does not dare speak of. But he is not alone. His own son is caught in the same pull, bound to me by that same forbidden desire.'
But I chose Duke.
He was supposed to be my way in, a weakness, a weapon. But the closer I get, the more dangerous he becomes, not to my plans, but to my heart.
Driven by a haunting prophecy, Torin summoned every supernatural force across the eight realms, bending them to his command. His determination to defy the fate foretold made him formidable, almost unstoppable.
Yet the question lingers: will his ultimate design be enough to silence the coming war with the Celestials? Will I refuse fate and love and become their nightmare, the apocalypse’s captive queen?
Chapter 1
I wandered through the museum of Vanilor as my eyes were drawn to a statue that seemed almost alive in its stillness, a towering figure carved with fierce precision, Akira, a name I had heard only in whispers, yet seeing her here, immortalized in stone, stirred something deep inside me.
I turned to the guide walking beside me, curiosity lifting my voice into a question I had not expected to ask.
"Who was she?"
The man's eyes flicked to the statue, reverence and caution crossing his face. "Akira," he said, "the ash goddess feared across nine realms, most powerful of all bearers, drawn out from the ruins of her fallen kingdom."
My chest tightened as I listened.
"Amid the smoldering remains of Torin's greatest conquest," the guide continued, "He captured her."
I swallowed hard and studied the statue more closely. "What happened next?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper, my eyes still fixed on the figure before me as the guide leaned close.
"What began as a trophy for Torin, grew into something far more perilous," the guide continued, and I could not look away as his voice painted vivid pictures in my mind.
"Torin found himself ensnared by feelings he dared not voice, even those closest to him unable to resist the pull of the same desire. Powers bent to his will, and such can threaten to destroy everything he had built."
"How did it all begin?" I asked, my gaze lingering on the statue as I noticed a slender snake coiled into a ring around its finger, its head lifted in silent watch. The guide's gaze softened as he began to speak, his voice carrying the weight of an ancient legend.
"Centuries ago, Torin ruled the realm of Vanilor, one among the nine. He was as ruthless as he was ambitious, driven by an unquenchable hunger for power. As a youth, he discovered a book that haunted his dreams as he grew. In his final dream, a cloaked figure with flowing gray hair appeared and said, 'To prevent this nightmare from unfolding, the boy must be stopped, and the nine Bearers must be gathered from the Nine Realms.'
Vanilor.
Aethel.
Nightveil.
Delmar.
Gravemire.
Celvaris.
Ashvale.
Bleakmore. And.
Solmiren.
"Driven by those words, Torin gathered the bearers, securing some through allegiance and forcing the rest into submission by war. Aethel, next in line, chose the path of resistance and accepted the inevitability of conflict." He paused, then turned to me, his gaze locking with mine, and as he spoke his words no longer echoed in my ears but came alive, as though the past itself had reached out to claim me.
AKIRA'S POV
◈IN AETHEL◈
"Akira, Quinn!" my mother, Queen Charlotte, screamed from the battlements of Aethel as she stood there staring far beyond the gates, her eyes widening at the sight of dust rising over the hills where riders in Vanilor garments were approaching. She turned at once and ran through the castle halls breathless with urgency while still calling, "Akira... Quinn," as if the repetition alone could pull us to safety before the invaders reached us.
"Quinn," she called, her voice raw and shaky with terror, her face twisted with fear as she burst into our chamber and saw him training with a sword, the sound of metal slicing through the air cutting across the room. He paused mid motion, turning to face her in the same breath with the sword still in his right hand while she crossed the room quickly, reaching him and taking his left hand as she pulled him toward the door with urgency.

Moonfire: Betrayed By The Alpha
Alpha Caden Blackwell believed those words would break me. That after three years of marriage marked by silence, humiliation, and quiet rejection, I would fear a life without him.
I did once.
As the Luna of the Shadowcrest Pack, I gave everything to a man my wolf recognized as her mate, enduring whispers, cold stares, and a pack that never truly accepted me. I stayed because I believed love required endurance. Because I believed patience would one day be rewarded.
That belief shattered the night Caden welcomed his former lover back into our home, along with a child he claimed as his heir. It ended the moment his choices nearly cost me my life and the life of one of my unborn pups. Leaving was no longer a matter of pride. It was survival.
Caden does not know the woman who walked away. He still sees the Luna who waited, who forgave, who loved without limits. He does not see Nova Ashton, a woman capable of rebuilding her identity and claiming a future on her own terms.
I will never crawl back.

But when his long-lost love returns, she is unceremoniously pushed aside to make room for the "real" family.
Enough was enough.
After he publicly humiliates her and chooses the mistress’s daughter over his own son during a birthday party, something inside her finally snaps. She doesn't just want out of the marriage; she wants her life back. With a secret talent for design and a newfound resolve, she walks away from the gilded cage of his estate.

MOONLIT CHASE
But no, I had to walk through the park at midnight like an idiot. Now I've seen something I can't unsee—a massive black wolf tearing apart three men, then shifting into the hottest guy I've ever laid eyes on.
Kieran Vaughn. Wealthy lawyer, werewolf, and apparently, he thinks I'm his mate.
Here's the problem: I don't do relationships. I definitely don't do supernatural things. I absolutely don't do rich guys who think they can control my life just because their inner wolf has decided I smell like home.
When hunters start targeting me to get to him, Kieran drags me into his pristine penthouse for "protection." Now I'm living with a man who looks at me like I'm his last meal, whose touch sets my skin on fire, and who's barely holding onto his control.
He says everyone he loves dies. I say that's not my problem except it is because I'm falling for this broken, dangerous man and his beast.
And in his world? Love will get you killed.
