Western Rose · Completed · 130.8k Words
Introduction
"How?"
"It’s easy. Be my girlfriend."
"Like a fake girlfriend?"
"Yeah, that. Your presence is gonna keep those bitches away and I get to keep your bullies away. Problem solved."
When the school's bad boy proposes an enticing offer to the school’s nerd, it feels like the perfect plan at the moment. She becomes his fake girlfriend, resolving his chaotic sexual life, and he gets to defend her from her bullies.
A fantastic plan, with zero loopholes. But what happens when the desires and sentiments set in between them? Do they make a plan out of that too, or are they trapped for life?
Can they find a common ground to groom these intense feelings in a Pack where hierarchy rules, forbidding them from being together? Or would they have to let go of each other?
Chapter 1
SKYLAR
"Go kiss that disgusting geezer ogling at us and we’ll give you back your notebook. No kidding this time. We swear!" Giselle shrieked over the loud music, placing a hand on her chest, and her minions nodded robotically in agreement. She burped wildly, a huge sign that the booze was finally sinking in.
I was a tad away from breaking down. Dealing with bullies since I got into high school has been the most traumatic experience of my life.
Giselle and her minions go out of their way each day to make my miserable life even more miserable. Seizing my notebook in school today, right after they bashed my head against the wall, marked today as one of the worst days of my life. As usual, they left me their notes forcing me to do their homework, and in exchange, they would give back mine.
The homework was worth 60 marks and losing it would be a huge taint on my straight-A reputation, so of course, I accepted. I got home early and finished it up. My head had hurt the whole time from hitting the wall hard, but I ignored the pain, determined to get done with their homework.
Giselle had dropped her number with me so I could call her to come pick up their notes when I was done, and of course, bring mine. But that was when everything went south.
First, she made me come to such a wild nightclub as this. They made fun of my tacky clothes when I arrived, and had the clubbers join in mocking me. Then they made me drink something yellowish with a pungent smell and awful taste, and now they were making me go kiss a random guy.
More like a man, he was about my father’s age. What was he doing here anyway? Didn’t he have a family to take care of? And what, kiss him? I haven’t ever kissed a guy. I’d be damned to lose my first kiss to him. It was something I was reserving for my fated mate.
"Skylar!" Giselle snapped a finger in my face. She swerved lightly, but her minions held her hands to maintain her balance. The girl was tipsy as hell. "What are you waiting for? Get going." She gave me a slight push but that was as far as I could go,
Giselle and her minions have made me do a lot of nasty and unconventional things, contradicting my principles, morals, and uptight personality.
Like when they made me steal a test answer sheet for them, and lie to teachers countless times, and tonight, I had to sneak out of the house to be here. I have a 9. pm curfew, so asking my parents for permission to leave was worthless because they wouldn’t grant it. Where would I tell them I was going by a little after 11?
The bottom line is, I’ve done a lot of crazy ass things because of them, but kissing a man thrice my age was on a different level. I couldn’t do it.
"Get your ass over to him right now, or you’ll have to say goodbye to your notebook!" Giselle took out my book, placed it on their table, and aimed her glass of whatever on it.
"No, please!" A couple of heads turned in my direction but I couldn’t care less. "Please don’t ruin my notebook." Tears fell from my eyes.
"Then go kiss the man, Skylar. It’s that simple."
I turned in the direction of the man and he had a stripper, straddling him, and bouncing off his dick that was sticking out of his fly. I guess she was naked underneath that little skirt she was putting on with a tiny, lacy bra.
Her happy shrieks looked more maniac than normal and the man’s grunts sounded like a bull’s. And the fact that no one was paying attention to them made me realize open sex must be a norm around here. Gross!
How do I disrupt that and make him kiss me? How do I even hold down my retch and kiss such a man? God, I would do anything else but that. Groveling. Get beaten, anything else.
"Gosh, I hate this night!" Giselle shrieked, startling me. I glanced around in dread but thank goddess it wasn’t about me. She looked red with anger, but something else seemed to have gotten on her nerves.
"You said he was gonna be here, right? Well, where is he? You dumb bitch!" She threw the drink on one of her minions. Gina.
Gina quickly dropped to her knees, regardless of how soaked she was. "I’m sorry, Skylar, but I didn't lie about what I said. He comes here almost every night. I got the information from a valid source."
"Both you and your source are so fucking useless!" Giselle shrieked again, spilling another drink on Gina. The other minions gasped but they couldn’t stop her. It was impossible to control Giselle’s rage.
"I got dolled up because I thought I’d be meeting him here. Now I look so fucking stupid for believing your lying, bitchy ass!"
"Please, forgive me, Giselle." Gina repeatedly said, rubbing her hands together apologetically. She was a pathetic sight.
"Skylar!"
"I’m going!" I resumed walking, trembling at the fact that her attention was now back on me. A few drops of tears were the only way I could show my despair. I was in a sickening dilemma and there seemed to be no way out.
Getting closer to them, the stripper got off him and whispered something in his ears. He grinned and swatted her as she strutted off. Now he was alone. Big relief! Still, how do I initiate the kiss?
I said a couple of prayers as I got closer. But out of the blue, a hand grabbed me from behind, spinning me around. Met by a strange face…hold on a second! My jaw dropped as I finally recognized the face.
It wasn’t a strange face. I knew that face, but why was he holding my hand? Why was he even standing next to me? It’s never happened before.
"What took you so long, babe?"
My eyes dilated at his words which made zero sense. Still not over the shock of what was happening, he put a hand around my waist, pulled my pale body closer, and seized my lips in a kiss.
Holy fuck!

On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
