It turns out he was a werewolf.
How will the story continue between the three of them when they meet on the same campus?
Chapter 1
"Don't blame me if I leave this house! You have no right to control my life!" shouted a young woman named Laura.
"Laura! Why do you dare to yell at me now?" Tears began to flow down the face of a woman around 40 years old.
"Enough, Mom! Don't act in front of me anymore. I won't easily believe your tricks!" said Laura with great emphasis.
"I don't want to know. I have agreed to this match. I can no longer afford your tuition fees." The middle-aged woman immediately turned her gaze in another direction.
"Why do you have the heart to sell me to another man I don't know? You're evil, Mom! I hate you!" Laura immediately ran out of her house. She was so disappointed in her mother, who liked to control her life as she pleased. At a young age, she was required to accept an arranged marriage with a foreign man. In addition, the reason that cannot be tolerated is because her mother doesn't want to pay for her studies anymore. Very disappointing.
Laura walked alone on the sidewalk. Her long hair moved in the wind. The cold air began to penetrate her white skin, which was only covered by thin clothes. She didn't know where she was going. "I don't want my life to be miserable just because I follow desires that are not my own. I want to be free without anyone's intervention." Laura continued to walk. It looks like she has to stay over at a friend's house tonight.
Laura suddenly stopped her footsteps. "Friends? But who? None of my friends live in this area." Her hands ruffled her slightly messy hair. The surrounding atmosphere was starting to become quiet. There were only a few vehicles passing by. The cold began to penetrate her skin. Laura just realized that she was currently only wearing a short t-shirt and long jeans. She didn't carry anything else other than her cell phone.
Laura then took out her cell phone from her pocket. She tried to contact her friends. However, none of her friends answered the phone. "What should I do?" Laura checked the balance on her cellphone. "It looks like there's still enough to stay at the hotel tonight. Tomorrow on campus, I'll ask my friends for help."
Laura continued her steps, looking for the nearest accommodations. She started to cross the street. Suddenly, a car was driving very fast in the opposite direction. Laura widened her eyes. "Aaa…," she shouted while closing her eyes.
In that second, she felt someone touch her waist. However, she didn't care. Her only thoughts were that her life would end up being hit by a car speeding towards her. She was so scared and resigned.
"Open your eyes!" Suddenly, a man's voice whispered in her ear.
Slowly, Laura's eyes opened. She was quite surprised to see a handsome man standing in front of her. Her gaze was fixated on the figure of the man who caught her attention. A face that looked almost perfect—white skin, enchanting blue eyes, a sharp nose, and sexy lips—made her passion immediately rise. "Who are you?" Laura immediately removed the man's hand from her waist. However, when she touched his hand, it felt so hot, like holding the body of someone with a fever.
"Are you sick?" Laura looked worried.
"Next time you cross the road, be careful. Use your eyes as best as possible," said the foreign man.
"Very fierce." Laura raised her hand and pressed it to the man's forehead. "Wow, your body is really hot. Are you okay?"
"Presumptuous!" The man immediately pushed Laura's hand away.
"Oops, sorry." Laura suddenly realized that she was now on the sidewalk. "Why am I already here? Wasn't I just in the middle of the road?" Laura looked back at the street. She felt strange because she didn't feel any pulling or pushing on her body at all. She only felt a hand press against her waist. "How can I quickly pull over to the sidewalk?"
"Careless woman. It looks like you are tired of living. Do you really intend to commit suicide?" sneered at the tall and athletic man.
"What did you say?" Laura glared at the man. "Don't just make accusations. I'm not a stupid woman who likes to hurt herself." Laura felt hot when she was near this tall, handsome man. Plus, the man's sharp gaze made the hairs on the back of her neck bristle.
Laura opened her cell phone. "Thank you for helping me. What's your number? I'll give you a gift." No answer at all. She looked up again. The man was no longer there. She looked here and there, looking for the handsome man's whereabouts. However, she saw no trace of it at all. "Where is he?"
In one place, there was a man who was leaning against the wall while controlling his rapid breathing. "Why does my body ripple violently like this when I touch that woman's body? Who exactly is she?" That man is Stevan, the man who saved Laura from death.
The next day, Laura went to campus. When the taxi arrived at the front yard of the campus, she immediately got out and walked into the fairly large building. The University of Granada is a well-known university located in the city of Granada, Spain. Laura is so lucky to be able to study at the university she has always dreamed of. Her feet continued to walk towards her class in the economics faculty building.
"Laura!" Suddenly, a voice called. Laura stopped in her tracks and turned around.
"Hey, Jen." Laura smiled at seeing her best friend running over to her.
"I'm sorry, I didn't answer your phone last night. I was already asleep. I had drunk quite a lot of wine with my brother. What was it you called me for?" Jenifer asked when she was in front of Laura.
"I need your help," answered Laura, leaning closer, then whispering something to her friend.
"What?!" Jennifer's response was that she was shocked to hear Laura's story about being matched.
Laura covered Jennifer's mouth with her hand. "Oh shit! Don't speak so loudly. Only the two of us know about this problem. Promise?"
"Ahh, I see." Jennifer and Laura walked back to their class.
The campus bell rang. The students ran into their respective classes. In front of the economics faculty building, the lecturers and rectors were already lining up, ready to welcome the arrival of someone so special. Men dressed all in black got out of the car and took up the line. A young man came out wearing casual clothes, long jeans, a white t-shirt, and a black leather jacket. The students there immediately screamed hysterically, seeing the handsomeness of the man who was so idolized there. He is Reynold Edwin, heir to a well-known businessman in the city of Granada.
"Welcome, Reynold. I will take you to your class," said the campus chancellor.
"Thank you," replied Reynold, walking after the campus rector. Several bodyguards accompanied him.
Laura is in her class, having fun chatting with her friends. They didn't know that the campus was buzzing with the arrival of a rich young heir. Suddenly, the atmosphere in the class, which was initially noisy, turned quiet when a young and handsome lecturer arrived.
Laura, who wanted to look forward, couldn't because her watch strap came off. "OMG ...."
"Good morning everyone," said the male lecturer.
"Morning," answered the students in unison. They stared in awe at the lecturer, except Laura. Laura was busy fixing her watch strap.
"Are you the new lecturer here?" asked one of the female students.
The man showed a flat facial expression, but his handsomeness shone even more. "Yes, I'm a new lecturer here. My name is Stevan William. I'm here teaching economic history. I hope you receive me well."
Laura, who was curious to hear that there was a new lecturer, finally raised her head. She spontaneously widened her eyes when she saw the handsome face that was exactly the same as the one she saw last night.
"You?"

Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
