Introduction
Chapter 1
For twenty-two years, Natalie Bennett was the twin everyone forgot to look at. Then she took a job three thousand miles away — and became the one person her family could not afford to ignore.
After Ethan deleted the photo, he handed Emma’s phone back to her.
“Go through the rest and delete any you don’t want.”
Before Emma could open the album, an email notification appeared across the screen.
Thank you for your interest. After careful consideration...
She had not gotten the job.
Emma’s eyes filled instantly.
“Maybe I’m just not good enough,” she whispered. “I’ve applied everywhere, and nobody wants me.”
Mom pulled her into her arms.
“That’s not true. You did everything right. The job market is terrible right now.”
Then she glanced at me.
“Natalie chose such a specialized degree that we expected her job search to be difficult. But you? You have the personality companies are looking for. That recruiter clearly didn’t know what he was doing.”
I stood a few feet away, still wearing my graduation gown.
I had said nothing.
Yet somehow, I had once again become the example they used to make Emma feel better.
For years, I had wondered whether Emma was their biological daughter, and I wasn’t.
Unfortunately, we were twins.
We had the same dark hair, the same gray eyes, and nearly identical faces. No DNA test was needed to prove that we belonged to the same family.
So I searched for another explanation.
Maybe I was harder to love.
Maybe I wasn’t smart enough, sweet enough, or charming enough.
I worked harder. I stopped complaining. I became the daughter who never caused trouble and never asked for help.
By the time I had enough achievements to make them proud, I finally understood.
It had never been about what Emma deserved.
Loving Emma first was simply a habit.
So was overlooking me.
Ethan lowered his voice as he comforted her. Dad stepped away from us and pulled out his phone.
He called an old college friend who worked in HR at Westbridge Technologies.
“Hey, Mark. It’s Daniel Bennett,” he said warmly. “My daughter just graduated, and I was hoping you could take a look at her résumé.”
A few minutes later, he ended the call with a satisfied smile.
“Send me your résumé tonight, Emma. Mark said he’ll make sure it gets in front of the right hiring manager. Your first job matters. You shouldn’t have to settle for some tiny company no one’s heard of.”
Emma always had a safety net beneath her.
She only had to stumble, and everyone rushed to catch her.
During our freshman year, she failed a required economics course.
Mom found a senior from the same department to tutor her at a hundred and fifty dollars an hour. She paid for twenty sessions in advance.
That same semester, I earned the highest grade in one of my materials engineering courses.
I sent Mom a screenshot, hoping she might tell me she was proud.
Instead, she called me.
“Emma just told us she failed her midterm,” she said. “Did you really have to send this today?”
“I didn’t know.”
“You’re her sister, Natalie. Try to read the room. Not everything has to be a competition.”
After that, I stopped sending my grades home.
Junior year, I collapsed outside the engineering building with pain so severe I could barely stand.
I called Ethan.
I had never asked him for help before. That day, all I needed was a ride to the emergency room.
He went quiet.
“Emma has a presentation tomorrow,” he finally said. “She’s having a panic attack, and I promised I’d help her rehearse.”
I pressed one hand against my stomach and struggled to breathe.
“Ethan, I can’t walk.”
“Nat, you’ve always been able to take care of yourself. Can you call an Uber? I’ll check on you later.”
In the end, it was my Uber driver who took one look at my pale face and came around to help me out of the car. He walked me into the ER and stayed until a nurse brought me a wheelchair.
A stranger had understood that I needed help.
My boyfriend had decided I could manage alone.
Maybe I had been independent for too long.
Once people became used to your silence, they started believing nothing could hurt you.
Much later, Mom finally remembered to ask about my plans.
“Have you applied anywhere yet, Natalie?”
I opened my mouth, but Dad waved the question away.
“She’ll figure something out. With a degree that specialized, she can’t expect too much right out of college.”
Ryan glanced at me.
“Just take whatever you can get. You don’t want to be living with Mom and Dad six months from now.”
Ethan even offered to ask if his company had any receptionist openings.
He sounded sincere, as though he had truly considered my future.
I lowered my eyes and opened the offer waiting on my phone.
Cascadia Advanced Materials Institute
Aerospace Materials Program — Seattle, Washington
The position was prestigious, the salary was more than I had dared to expect, and the work was exactly what I had spent four years preparing to do.
It was also nearly three thousand miles from home.
The offer had been sitting unsigned for seven days.
I had told myself I needed time to think.
The truth was, I had been waiting.
Waiting for Mom to ask where I wanted to live.
Waiting for Dad to sit down with me and help me plan my future, the way he had with Emma.
Waiting for Ethan to remember that we had promised to build a life in the same city after graduation.
With six hours left before the offer expired, no one had asked me anything.
Worse, they had already decided I had no future worth asking about.
I pressed Accept.
A message appeared on the screen.
Welcome to Cascadia, Natalie Bennett. We’re excited to have you on our team.
Please report to our Seattle campus in three days.
Great.
The first sincere welcome I received on graduation day came from nearly three thousand miles away.
I looked at the happy family gathered around Emma. They looked perfectly complete without me.
I booked a flight to Seattle that left in three days.

While the real heiress struggled to survive, the nanny’s daughter, Talia, was raised in luxury as the beloved jewel of the Laurent family, pampered by Camille’s parents, adored by her three brothers, and even promised to the prestigious Matteo Devereux through a childhood engagement arranged by their grandparents.
Then the truth came out.
Six months ago, Camille was finally brought back to the Laurent family. To protect the family reputation and prove their devotion to their bloodline, the Laurent patriarch transferred 35% of his personal shares into Camille’s name overnight, instantly making her one of the wealthiest heiresses in the country.
It brought anxiety to all the Laurent family. But what they don’t know…is that Camille never needed them.
Behind her elegant smile lies a woman filled with secrets powerful enough to shake the whole family. She's a miraculous healer capable of curing the incurable poisons.
Yet despite everything, her family still chooses Talia.
Every accusation against Talia is forgiven. Every scheme against Camille is brushed aside. Even Matteo, the man who was supposed to be Camille’s fiancé—cannot let go of the woman he always believed belonged by his side.
But while the Laurent family underestimates Camille, another man begins to see exactly who she is.
Dante Moretti.
The ruthless heir of an old-money dynasty. A billionaire CEO worshipped by the public…and the merciless king of a criminal empire hidden beneath the city’s glittering surface. When Dante is poisoned by a rival syndicate with a deadly toxin no doctor can cure, he offers a fortune for anyone who can save him.
Only Camille can. Their deal is simple: she becomes his personal physician, and he gives her anything she wants.
CHASING GHOSTS
BROKEN TRUST
Neither of them knew she was carrying his child.
Emily’s affair didn’t just end her marriage—it erased the life she thought was guaranteed. Ryan left without looking back, carrying his anger like armor and leaving Emily alone with regret she would never outrun. Three years later, fate drags them back into each other’s world, along with a little girl who has Ryan’s eyes and a truth that shatters everything he thought he knew.
Old wounds reopen, grief masquerades as rage, and love refuses to stay buried. As parenthood binds them together and the past demands accountability, Emily and Ryan must face the question neither of them is ready to answer: is broken trust the end of their story… or the beginning of a love forged through loss, forgiveness, and brutal honesty?
Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.
Genevieve loses a bet she can’t afford to pay. In a compromise, she agrees to convince any man her opponent chooses to go home with her that night. What she doesn’t realize when her sister’s friend points out the brooding man sitting alone at the bar, is that man won’t be okay with just one night with her. No, Matteo Accardi, Don of one of the largest gangs in New York City doesn’t do one night stands. Not with her anyway.
Bonds at War: The Virgin is Mine
Perhaps then they would stop controlling my every move. Maybe my brothers would stop resenting me. Perhaps I wouldn’t feel so invisible anymore.
No one believed I could do it—not even my mate, Alpha Jaxon Trevane.
The night I planned to tell him... I found him tangled in bed with my best friend.
Heartbroken and humiliated, I left everything behind and went to Elite alone.
But the academy isn’t the fairytale I dreamed about.
Beneath the grand halls and traditions, a brutal game is being played.
The four ruling Alphas of the North, South, East, and West fight for power, dominance... and now, for me.
A virgin. Untouched. Unclaimed. The prize they all want.
There’s the mate who shattered my heart and swears he’ll win me back.
The brilliant strategist who wants me as his Luna.
The dangerous playboy who promises no one will ever touch me but him.
And the cold, possessive Alpha who watches from the shadows—and would destroy anyone who dares to take me from him.
But in a place where love is a battlefield and lust is a weapon... falling in love might be the most dangerous thing I ever do.
Welcome to Elite Order Academy—where every desire has a price, and my body is the ultimate trophy.
GO ON YOUR KNEES, ALPHA.
He was wrong.
Six years ago, Pete Leadsilver had everything an Alpha could want. Power, a respected pack and a future already written for him.
Then he met me.
What began as a game became a mistake I would spend years trying to survive. When I told him I was carrying his child, Pete chose not to believe me. He rejected me, humiliated me, and allowed the people around him to make sure I understood that there was no place for me in his world.
So I disappeared.
I took the secret of my pregnancy with me and built a life far away from the Alpha who had broken me.
Six years later, Pete finds me again. Only this time, he isn't the man with all the power. His pack is dying, his people are running out of time, and I may be the only person capable of saving them.
But I'm no longer the woman Pete remembers. And beside me is a little boy who carries far too much of Pete's face to be a coincidence.
Our reunion should have been about a cure, but instead, it becomes the beginning of a war neither of us saw coming.
Because Pete's greatest danger isn't outside his pack.
It's inside his own family.
Old resentment turns into manipulation. Loyalty becomes betrayal. And the people Pete trusts begin hiding secrets that threaten to destroy everything he's built.
Then someone comes for the people I love.
Suddenly, this is no longer about whether Pete can earn my forgiveness.
It's about whether he can keep me alive.
Whether he can protect the son he never knew existed.
Whether he can uncover the truth before the people closest to him destroy everything he has finally learned to value.
Along the way, we'll lose people we thought would always stand beside us, I'll be forced to confront wounds I've spent six years trying to bury, and the family we're slowly building will be tested in ways neither of us could have imagined.
Because sometimes love isn't the hardest thing to find. Sometimes it's the hardest thing to survive.
Pete once believed power meant never needing anyone and I once believed surviving him meant leaving him behind.
We were both wrong.
Because some bonds refuse to die, some betrayals cut deeper than rejection and some people don't come back into your life to give you a second chance.
They come back to show you exactly what you almost lost.
Pete Leadsilver lost me once.
This time, he'll have to fight to keep the family he never knew he needed.
The rejected white luna
Love's Deadly Equation
I was sent to her.
To watch her. To protect her. And, when the order comes… to kill her.
My name is Keegan Caffery. I’m the Carter Mafia’s best hitman. I don’t miss. I don’t fail.
At least, I didn’t use to.
I don’t know what it is about her that got to me first—her mouth, her mind, or the way she looks at me like I’m not what she should fear.
I’ve had a gun to her head since I walked into her life.
She knows it.
And she still doesn’t run.
She just watches me back like she’s studying a problem she refuses to call impossible.
She’s the one variable I can’t control.
And God help me… I don’t want to.
I have an order. I have loyalty. I have a trigger.
But every time I imagine it—
I can’t stand it.
Her or me. That’s the math.
It’s a deadly equation I don’t want to solve.
⬥ Maisie ⬥
I’m not ordinary. I stopped pretending long ago.
My name is Maisie Seo. IQ 145. Clinical genius.
Which sounds impressive until you realize what it actually means: I don’t fit anywhere people expect me to.
I see patterns everywhere. Outcomes before they happen. People like equations I’ve already solved.
It gets lonely in a world you’ve already figured out.
So I dull myself down. Smoke the edges off. Pretend, badly, to be the kind of normal that lets people stay.
Then he walked in.
I knew what he was immediately. Dangerous. Intentional. Wrong in all the right ways.
I should be afraid of him.
I keep waiting for that to kick in.
Instead, I’m fascinated.
Because for the first time in my life… I’ve found something I can’t solve.
He is my deadly equation.
Fated to the Enemy: The Alpha's Witch Bride
My touch tames his inner beast.
… Until I find another woman’s bite mark on his neck.
As a holy witch, I shouldn't be sneaking out for Zuri—a cursed shape-shifter from a rival clan.
But our forbidden heat is intoxicating.
When his monstrous Primal breaks free, slaughtering everything in its path, even his fiercest warriors cower.
I don't.
I walk straight to the blood-soaked beast, press my body against his, and tame him with a single, desperate embrace.
There’s just one problem: his clan betrothed him to a Shaman’s daughter.
I tell myself it's purely political. I tell myself his heart is mine.
Until tonight.
He sneaks into the woods for me. We share a deep, hungry kiss under the moonlight.
But as I pull back, my blood runs cold.
Right there, on the neck of the man I just risked my soul to save...
Is a fresh, undeniable bite mark.
Taste of Fate: The Vampire King's Human Mate
He reached for the back of my head and pulled me up just enough to reach my neck. When his fangs slid into me, the pain was instant, electric. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. My hands found his shoulders, clawing for something to hold. My legs kicked. Tears streamed down my cheeks.
He moaned against my throat as he drank, and the sound was devastating.
My Billionaire Husband's Secret
He was the CEO of the Blackwood Group — a man whose wealth and power eclipsed ninety-nine percent of the world.
He was gentle. Romantic. Attentive. I fell for him fast.
But a year into our marriage, I began to notice something — a pattern.
Lucas's sexual appetite was intense — he wanted me almost every night. Yet every single month, he arranged a solo trip to send me away. I told myself it was his way of spoiling me.
Then a message arrived from someone called Sweet An.
Do you really know your husband?
From that day on, my life filled with shadows.
I suspected my husband of having an affair.
When Lucas and I made love, something felt wrong — his body too large, too much, like something I couldn't explain.
I heard sounds during sex — animal sounds, like something feral had crawled into bed with us.
My best friend Mia said: "There are men sick enough to let dogs fuck their wives."
The family doctor, Daisy, told me: "You could never stay by Lucas's side forever. Your background doesn't make you worthy of being his wife. Do you understand?"
I went looking for whoever had been tearing my marriage apart. I fought to win my husband back.
But the deeper I searched, the larger the secret grew — something far darker hiding beneath this supposed betrayal.
Does Lucas truly love me?
And why, out of everyone in the world, did he choose to marry me?
