THE WOLFLESS QUEEN AND HER FOUR CARDINAL ALPHAS
Jennifer Nwabueze · Ongoing · 36.9k Words
Introduction
Blessed with hair the color of moonlight and eyes like liquid silver, she carries the ancient bloodline of the Alpha Kings, the rightful ruler of all werewolves. But she has one flaw. She is human. A werewolf without a wolf.
Her parents are ashamed of her. Her twin sister, Aurora Throneborn, blessed with a wolf though weak, is being groomed to steal her throne. They are twins, but Lunara is the eldest. And they look nothing alike.
To hide their embarrassment, or perhaps to mock her, Lunara is sent to Vicjen Royal Academy, the most elite werewolf institution in the world, with her identity concealed. She is ranked at the very bottom. Human. Powerless. Invisible.
But the Moon Goddess does not make mistakes.
Four Cardinal Alphas, blessed warriors destined to protect and claim the true Werewolf Queen, are waiting within the academy’s walls. They do not know who she is. She does not know what she is. But when her dormant power begins to stir, responding to their presence in ways she cannot control, everything changes.
One can read her mind and control her body with a smirk.
The second burns with obsessive fire and will destroy anyone who hurts her.
The third commands wind and lightning with the calm of a king.
The fourth can awaken wolves with a touch. But will he awaken her?
Four alphas. One throne. A queen who does not know her own power with mates who swear their loyalty to a false queen.
At Vicjen Royal Academy, hierarchy is everything. Lunara entered as the lowest. But she will rise. And when she does, the entire werewolf world will kneel.
Chapter 1
§∆§LUNARA'S POV§∆§
"Out," my father ordered, not even looking me in the eyes.
I stared at the building through the tinted glass window. Vicjen Royal Academy shone brightly at the top of the skyscraper building. It was blue and gold trim all over the outside. The huge lands looked properly mowed as well.
Show-offs. I hated places like this. I just sat still. I didn't move.
My father, noticing I wasn't moving, finally lifted his eyes from his iPad.
"Lunara."
His voice could freeze hell. It didn't sound like he was talking to me, his daughter. It felt like he was ordering his subjects.
"Get out. Now," he gritted out, finally out of patience.
I turned to look at him. King Aldric of the Notredam, king of all werewolves. My father. The man who was supposed to love me no matter what.
He couldn't even hold my gaze when I looked at him pleading with my eyes.
"Dad, please..."
"Don't." He cut me off. "You've embarrassed this family enough. Just go quietly. That's the least you can do."
My chest hurts. But I didn't let it show on my face. Nineteen years of practice taught me that crying just made things worse.
Behind me, Aurora giggled. Of course she did.
Rora. My perfect twin sister. Sitting there examining her nails like this was boring, as if her wolf didn't just come in last year.
A damn weak wolf. Barely worth mentioning.
But it was enough. Enough to make her matter. Enough to make her the new favorite.
And enough to make me nothing.
"Don't worry, Nara," Aurora cooed, using the nickname that used to sound loving but now just sounded mocking. "I'm sure you'll do fine. Even without a wolf."
I wanted to punch that ugly fake sympathy right off her face. But I didn't. I just grabbed my bag and opened the door.
Cold air whipped at my face. I breathe it in and I can't help but notice how refreshing it is. Everything smelled expensive. Even the damn air.
Students walked past in purple blazers with golden wolf crests. They all looked like they owned the world.
Confident. Beautiful. Powerful and everything I wasn't. I didn't belong anywhere.
"Lunara." My mom's voice made me turn back.
Queen Isolde leaned out the passenger window. Her face was blank. She'd worn this same expression for years without a smile, ever since I turned sixteen and my wolf didn't emerge.
"Your identity stays hidden," she said calmly. "It's for your protection."
Liar. I knew the truth. They weren't protecting me. They were hiding me. Hiding their wolfless daughter because I was an embarrassment to the royal bloodline.
Who would want a future Alpha Queen who couldn't shift?
"I understand."
My voice came out empty as well. I can't remember the last time I smiled at them. I swore to myself that today is the last day I will ever beg my parents for anything.
My mom rolled up the window and the car pulled away.
I stood there watching it disappear down the long driveway. I could still hear Aurora's laugh through the closed windows.
I hated her. I hated them all. I turned and walked toward the entrance.
My footsteps were silent against the stone pathway. I walked calmly even though I was angry inside and wanted to vent or kick something.
They wanted me to disappear? Fine. But someday, someday they will see who I really am. And they were going to regret everything. Every single thing.
The registration office was packed. Werewolves were everywhere. Nobles and Elite families that I recognized. They acted as if they didn't see me, and I did the same.
"Next!"
I walked up to the desk. A woman with glasses sat there barely looking up from her computer screen.
"Name?"
"Lunara... Smith."
The fake last name almost made me gag but I pushed through.
She typed something on her computer. Then she frowned. Her eyes came up and she actually looked at me.
"Are you sure your surname is Smith?" She asked slowly, as if she didn't believe me for a second.
"Yes."
Her frown got deeper but she typed again.
A second later she printed out a card and slid it across the desk.
I picked it up.
Name: Lunara Smith
Status: Human
Rank: Lowest Tier
Dorm: Building C, Room 447
The word "Human" was in bold red letters. I didn't need to be told that being branded as human, I was going to suffer. Even the red on the card already told me.
The woman's expression changed. It got softer and there was so much pity in her eyes that it disgusted me.
No one has the right to pity me, Lunara Throneborn. No one. She should be scared of me, not pitying me.
"You'll need your uniform from the supply room," she said quietly. "And... good luck."
I took the card and left without saying anything, too angry to respond.
Behind me, whispers started.
"Did you see that?"
"A human? Here?"
"Why would they even accept an ordinary human?"
My jaw hurt from clenching it so hard. Keep walking. Just keep walking.
Don't react. Don't give them anything.
As I was walking forward, I didn't see the foot positioned in front of me to trip me.
I was already falling, too caught up in my anger, when I realized what had just happened.
"That's what you deserve for coming here, human!" A slender-looking girl snarled. She looked so angry and self-righteous and that angered me more.
I stood up and dusted the dirt from my body. I was actually looking for someone to transfer my aggression to.
I guess fighting on my first day of school is going to make my parents very proud of me. I always do things that make them proud.
I stood up and slowly walked toward her, making sure each step was loud and deliberate as I held her gaze.
Before she could know what I would do next, I landed the most resounding slap on her face that had her neck snapping to the other side.
Everyone gasped. Some screamed. Others looked horrified. I wasn't done.
I grabbed her hair and tilted her face to my direction and looked her in her eyes.
By now she was shaking and trembling in fear.
"Next time, it won't be just a slap," I growled out. I shoved her hard. She landed on her butt.
I took my belongings from the floor and walked off.

Before I could answer, he moved closer, suddenly looming over me, his face inches from mine. I felt my breath caught, my lips parting in surprise.
"Then this is the price for speaking ill of me to others," he murmured, nipping my lower lip before claiming my mouth in a real kiss. It began as punishment but quickly transformed into something else entirely as I responded, my initial rigidity melting into compliance, then active participation.
My breathing accelerated, small sounds escaping my throat as he explored my body. His touches were both punishment and pleasure, drawing shudders from me that I thought he felt reverberating through his own body.
My nightgown had ridden up, his hands discovering more of mine with each caress. We were both lost in sensation, rational thought receding with each passing second...

Aphrodite and the Cursed Mate Bond
She finds truth.
Aphrodite is not human at all. She is a rare white wolf, descended from an ancient Direwolf bloodline long believed extinct. The ritual meant to sever her ties awakens her wolf instead and with it comes the scent of five mates bound to her by fate.
The Alpha twins who once scorned her now cannot stay away. A human hunter walks beside her and proves that strength is not born of fangs or dominance. A cursed Wolf King holds the key to her past and her father’s imprisonment. And watching from the shadows is one who was never meant to interfere at all.
As gods fall, packs fracture, and war reshapes the world, Aphrodite must decide what destiny truly means. Is it submission to fate or the courage to choose her own path.
Love does not come in one form. Neither does power.
In a world ruled by gods and wolves, Aphrodite will become something neither ever expected.
Not a queen.

His fangs glinted as he gripped my chin, forcing me to meet his gaze. Dragon scales shimmered along his neck, breath scorching my skin.
"Your Majesty... I beg—" He shoved me onto the bed. Silk tore with a sharp rip, cold air rushing over my exposed body.
"Scared?" He smirked, palm sliding down my waist, fingers tracing slow, burning circles. "Yet you shiver... not from cold."
I lunged for the candlestick, but he caught my wrist, pinning it overhead. His knee forced my legs apart.
"When your father gave you to me," his lips brushed my ear, voice a dark rumble, "you were already mine."

The Alpha's Stripper Mate
"What?" It was out of my mouth before I could stop it. I did not wait for him to answer me, I walked toward him.
"Dance on my lap."
My head screamed at me to turn around and run. But my whole body responded to his command.
"Yes, Alpha," I pulled my dress over my body, it dropped over my head and fell to the ground behind me. I was left in nothing but my matching bra and thong. My hands covered my chest on reflex.
"Let me see."
My hands dropped to my sides.
I lowered myself into his lap, facing him. His eyes peered into mine, and I could feel his hot breath fan my face. His dick responded to all my moves, hardening against my now-moist vagina. I swallowed hard, allowing my lips to part in a ragged breath. His hands trailed up to my waist.
"No touching."

Owned By My Cold-Hearted Psychotic Straight Boss
“Please, what?”
I ran my wet tongue through my dry lips. Voice barely above a whisper. “Please… please... please make me… make me… make me your little bitch.”
The words tasted bitter and filthy on my tongue. I hated myself for saying them. Hated how my cock twitched when I did.
“I can’t hear you, Jones,” He said, voice hard, low and commanding. “Louder.”
I swallowed again, eyes stinging. “Please make me your little bitch.”
“A little louder.”
My cheeks burned. I forced the words out stronger this time. “Please make me your little bitch.”
He smirked, slow and satisfied. The look in his eyes made my stomach flip.
“Good boy,” He murmured. “Now listen carefully, Jones. If you agree to this, you’re mine. Completely. You don't look at other men. You don’t think about them. You don’t even dream about them. Everything about you; your mouth, your ass, your cock, your body… even your thoughts, belongs to me. All of it. I get to treat and use you however and whenever I want. Rough. Gentle. Mean. Filthy. You take it all. And you praise me for it. Understood?”
I hesitated, heart pounding so hard I thought it was going to explode. The last bit of resistance flickered. My mind was screaming no; to get up, run and never look back.
“Well?” He urged, thumb still holding my chin.
I closed my eyes for half a second, detesting every inch of my being. Then I nodded, voice small. “Yes.”
“Yes, what?”
“Yes… I understand.”
“Good.”
