Introduction
“Drake… oh God, harder—” I cried, my body arching into his relentless thrusts.
“Not just Drake. Say what I am to you.”
“My ex’s father,” I gasped, shame and desire tangling on my tongue.
“That’s right, sweetheart. And now you’re mine.”
It was supposed to be a reckless mistake. A reckless sex with a stranger after catching my boyfriend screwing my best friend. But the stranger wasn’t a stranger at all.
He was Drake Humphrey. My ex-boyfriend’s father.
Older. Filthy rich. Ruthlessly dominant. The man I should have run from. Instead, I let him own me. In his penthouse, on his desk, in his car. I let him ruin me with every touch.
But what started as lust has become obsession. Drake doesn’t just want my body. He wants my heart. He wants me under his name, his control, his power. And when our secret erupts, the world around us catches fire.
My ex wants revenge. His mother wants blood. His father wants me.
And I can’t decide if I’ve been destroyed… or if I’ve finally come alive.
Chapter 1
Chloe’s POV
I swiped the key card to unlock the door to his room, opening the door, I saw my best friend Sylvia, strandling my boyfriend, moaning out loud as he rammed into her from under.
I couldn’t get myself, all I could do was to stare at them. I dropped on the floor with a soft thud. My chest became heavy, blood coming out from my finger because I was biting my nail. Tears had long blurred my vision.
Funny enough? I wasn’t even noticed. This is the man I have loved with all of me. Here he is, pounding my best friend like his life depended on it.
“Shit! That’s it baby,” Sylvia moaned. “Uuhh yea, isshhh, fuck me harder baby.”
I couldn’t just stand and watch my boyfriend and my best friend having a good time without doing anything.
“Sylvia….?” My voice cracked. “Jack?”
They both turned to look at me at the same time. Something else flared in Jack's expression. Surprised? I can’t fathom, but it was gone within a twinkle of an eye.
“Gosh! Chloe,” Jack pushed Sylvia off him, tried grabbing my arm. I pulled backward.
“Y….what did I just see? No! This is a dream I guess.” I slapped myself real hard to see if I could wake up , maybe I was truly dreaming, but it’s reality.
“Seriously, Jack, I thought you said you had broken up with her? What the heck is she doing here? I was about reaching the climax, fuck!” Sylvia smug while arranging her disheveled hair.
“Hahahahahaha, well, it's time to let the cat out of the bag. Look Chloe, I never loved you. I started dating you for easy access to Sylvia. She has been the one I have my eyes on and loved, not you”
“Am sorry you got to find out this way, I never meant to….”
“Shut up you scum bag!” I yelled at him, stood up from the floor and my hand landed real hard on his face.
It then occurred to me why Sylvia never wanted to introduce her boyfriend to me. Whenever I am with her and a certain call comes in, she excuses herself to answer the call.
The gifts she sings to me that her boyfriend gets for her all the time, the travels, always traveling with the so-called boyfriend, the dinner dates, it’s been Jack all these while. Am just a fool for not finding out on time.
“How…. Sylvia….” I was speechless. Stunned.
“Oh please save me that stress”
“Was I the one that asked you to be blind? Was I the one that told you not to read the handwriting which had been written on the wall? You chose to be daft, how is that my fault? You were foolishly in love without seeing or noticing all these while”
“Am more pained that I had to be sharing you with Jack, but it’s over now”
“Look here, she is going into shock baby” Sylvia smiled as she stood up, didn’t even bother covering her naked body.
They were both stark naked in front of me. She walked towards Jack, pulled him over and started kissing him just right in front of me. The nerves.
“I….I….”
I wanted to run away but my feet wouldn’t move. The next minute, they were on the bed again fucking each other. Sylvia let out a soft moan and a giggle. She grabbed Jack’s hard dick in her hand and put it inside her mouth while carelessing his balls.
Jack let out a loud moan. The fuck was I still watching them. Like…..
“Y…. You” I struggled to form words. I couldn’t even recognize my own voice. “You promised never to be apart from me.” I said shakily.
Jack laughed and groaned softly due to the pleasure he was receiving. My legs were shaking, I lost my stand and collapsed on the floor.
“Hold on, just hold on. Who do you think in his rightful senses will date you, Chloe? Who the fuck can stoop so low to you? You better wake up from that slumber of yours!”
“What have I ever done to you to deserve this from you? I have always loved you, I have always cared for you with all of me Jack. And what do I get in return? Betrayal!” I said, feeling the tears begin to run down my face.
“Tsh…. What have you done to me you ask? Well, you don’t give it to me the way Sylvia always did” Jack chuckled.

I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.
