Introduction
Within the band are the cold and mysterious lead singer Caspian, the wild and unruly frontman Rush, the passionate and straightforward drummer Zeke, and the gentle, caring bassist Slate.
When Veronica discovers that she possesses a strange power—one that can awaken changes within a vampire’s blood—she realizes that this is not just a job, but a fateful deal that could alter her destiny…
"Do you want to fuck me?" I whister into his ear. I have not idea why I asked, I can tell he does, but I need to hear the words.
"Yes, I want to eat your pussy," he says breathily.
He presses the tip of his cock against my pussy, and slowly slide it down, inside my juicy pussy, letting him fill me up. My hands on his shoulders, he went deep down until his cock is fully inside me. He bend towards me, lowering his head to my chest.
Chapter 1
Veronica :
"Veronica, You are really going to be working with Beaten Hart? This is unbelievable," Abigail, my best friend, shouts to be heard over the pounding music.
Her words rang in my ears but yet I find myself unable to look away from the men I will be working closely with over the coming months. I love what I am seeing, the man on the stage are handsome .
"You know I am in need of money so I have no choice but to work for them," I respond with a shout. This is very true. I know I am desperate for a job. I do not want to babysit bunch of rockstars but here I am doing what I hate. My house rent will be due next month and I can not afford to pay for it, and if I did not come up with something quickly, I would be given quick notice and I would lose the house.
"Come on Veronica, all I notice is, you are crushing on them like everyone else." She throws her hand out, greeting the ladies screaming in the clubs. Abigail has a long curly hair which was dyed a rich red, and it fell in loose waves, setting off her sea blue eyes and tanned complexion, she has been my best of friends since elementary school days.
She is nothing like me, we are opposite, just like day and night. I have dark long brown straight hair, green eyes and light complexion.
I gaze around the stadium filled with people, and catch sight of ladies shouting and crying as they stand to watch the band perform. I take my eyes to the left, I see a young lady whip off her bra and fling it at the stage. I was in shock, I did not know when I place my hands on my head. Oh goodness, I can not believe I have to keep seeing crap like this all the time. "Yes, I will admit it, these men on stage are dead handsome..."
"Capital D-E-A-D.” She interrupted, giving me a wink.
"But.." I send a teasing glance her way. "No, I will not flirt or fuck them, you know I have to be professional. I doubt if those men would want to date a lady like me," I look at my neat black pants and blouse, suddenly aware of how plain they seem. My intention is to look as professional as I could when I get introduced to the musical band.
"Veronica, you need to stopped talking down on yourself . You are beautiful. I wish you could see yourself the way I do. Girl, your eyes are absolutely beautiful, I wish mine looked like that.”
"Yeah... I know I have sexy eyes and it seems like good eyes are what guys are into now," I added, clearly not meaning it.
Ugh, my brain is not working. The type of music Beating Hart plays is rock pop. I am the type who will belt out a power ballad like it is a personal anthem, but I might love ballads, but a catchy chorus always wins me over. "Should we go check out backstage?" I gesture towards the double doors leading behind the scenes.
"Oh yeah, please let us go," Abigail does a happy little jump.
I reach for her right hand and grab it, and I lead the way through the crowd, when I reach the back door, a sheen of sweat clings to my forehead. I wipe off the sweat from my forehead with my hand, then reach into my bag for Abigail's and my backstage passes.
I spot a scary, huge security guard who looks like he could snap me in half as we walk down the hall. I move closer to him, I try to play it cool with a small smile and lift the passes for him to see. His eyes scan the passes before he gestures for us to go in.
The second we are around the corner, Abigail turns her head slightly, looking back. "Holy crap! I was one second away from peeing my pants, that guy is scary as hell."
"That was the reason he was hired. You would have to be out of your mind to mess with him," I say, as I finally let out the breath I did not realize I was holding.
We walk on until I catch sight of a device that appears to be a metal detector and two other security men, who honestly do not look that scary. We hold up our passes for them to see, make our way through the scanning device, and a red light scans me from head to toe before I am cleared to go in.
I waited out for Abigail, as soon as they let her through, we went down the hall, passing through another brown double doors. A room comes into view with "Beaten Hart" written on the door, that should be were the band changes their clothes. I glance to my left and notice more of doors ahead, I make my way over there, I slowly push the door open a bit and poke my head in. As my eyes land on the couches and a spread of food and drinks on the table, I breathe a sigh of relief; I am guessing, this room should be were they meet and greet.
"Abigail, let us go inside this room, they is no one in there." I swing the door wide and enter the room, I walk over to the table, take a bottle of water, twist the cap off, and drink like I have not had water in days.
"Veronica, I will not leave this room until my belly is filled up with all these food on the table." Abigail grabs what looks like a pastry and groans like it is the best thing she is ever tasted. "Oh God, this is yummy, Veronica, come and have a taste of it," She talks with food in her mouth.
I look at the food, and my stomach immediately votes yes. I quickly grab a cupcake, then take my first bite of it, I groan under my breath, this taste different, I have never had anything like this. "Oh my goodness, this is way bettterrr than having threesome, I swear. No sex can be compare to this," I loudly say.
"Have you been fucked by me before? Lady, you have not be fucked with the right dick." My whole body locks up as a voice cuts through the silence. "I will be glad if you have a taste of my dick. I want to correct that thought, baby girl." I whip around, and bam, the entire band is staring straight at me and Abigail. Then one by one, they turn to look at me. All of the sudden, I become horny.
Heat rockets through me as I spin around—and there they are. The entire band, watching me. One by one, their gazes drag over my body, hungry and amused, and something in me snaps.
I’ve spent months stalking their photos online, imagining what it would feel like to be this close. But nothing prepared me for the way my body aches now that they’re right in front of me.

Love's Deadly Equation
I was sent to her.
To watch her. To protect her. And, when the order comes… to kill her.
My name is Keegan Caffery. I’m the Carter Mafia’s best hitman. I don’t miss. I don’t fail.
At least, I didn’t use to.
I don’t know what it is about her that got to me first—her mouth, her mind, or the way she looks at me like I’m not what she should fear.
I’ve had a gun to her head since I walked into her life.
She knows it.
And she still doesn’t run.
She just watches me back like she’s studying a problem she refuses to call impossible.
She’s the one variable I can’t control.
And God help me… I don’t want to.
I have an order. I have loyalty. I have a trigger.
But every time I imagine it—
I can’t stand it.
Her or me. That’s the math.
It’s a deadly equation I don’t want to solve.
⬥ Maisie ⬥
I’m not ordinary. I stopped pretending long ago.
My name is Maisie Seo. IQ 145. Clinical genius.
Which sounds impressive until you realize what it actually means: I don’t fit anywhere people expect me to.
I see patterns everywhere. Outcomes before they happen. People like equations I’ve already solved.
It gets lonely in a world you’ve already figured out.
So I dull myself down. Smoke the edges off. Pretend, badly, to be the kind of normal that lets people stay.
Then he walked in.
I knew what he was immediately. Dangerous. Intentional. Wrong in all the right ways.
I should be afraid of him.
I keep waiting for that to kick in.
Instead, I’m fascinated.
Because for the first time in my life… I’ve found something I can’t solve.
He is my deadly equation.
